Abstract

Training technology based on the exchange of business actors is a development of training technology. This exchange-based training technology aims to increase the capacity of individuals and groups. This training technology results from a combination of training and comparative studies. This study aims to analyze the results of the implementation of training technology based on the exchange of business actors in Pasanggrahan Village, Subang Regency. The method used in the research is qualitative research with the Participation Action Research (PAR) method. The targets observed in this study are MSME actors. The MSMEs involved are MSMEs that have potential and are starting their business (at the middle level). The result of this study is that there is an changed/efective from the implementation of exchange-based training technology for business actors, including increasing the knowledge capacity of business actors in developing their business, the occurrence of cooperation between MSME actors, and adding insight to develop the business they have to be more advanced. Training based on the exchange of business actors can be one of the enrichments that can be used as an alternative to improving training technology and can be an interesting method in the development of social work practice science with the community.

Abstract

To achieve prosperity, every citizen has the right to receive the services they need. The government then increases people’s access to these services through the Integrated Service and Referral System (SLRT) at the district/city level and networks with the Social Welfare Center (PUSKESOS) at the village/sub-district level. However, unfortunately, many residents still find it difficult to access the basic services they need. This research then aims to develop an engineering model that can solve and meet the needs of the development of Social Health Centers in West Java. This research will be carried out using a descriptive qualitative approach. The data analysis method used is R&D. Then, the data used in this study came from various research results and interviews. The results of this study then produced a referral service model through Puskesos in Indonesia. This model focuses more on strengthening the capacity of social volunteers as Puskesos officers. Through this model, it is hoped that various problems and needs in developing Puskesos in West Java can be resolved.

Abstract

Self-adjustment refers to the suitability of individual behavior, so that there is a harmonious relationship between himself and the environment. This study aims to obtain an empirical picture of: 1) characteristics of foster children, 2) adaptation of foster children to the natural environment, 3) adaptation of foster children to the social environment, 4) adaptation of foster children to themselves, and 5) the adaptation of foster children to the tensions, conflicts and frustrations they experience at the Child Welfare Institution (CWI). The method used in this research is secondary data analysis. The number of respondents was 417 foster children consisting of ages 6-21 years in the following six locations: 1) Bina Remaja Taruna Jaya Social Institution in South Jakarta, 2) XVII Youth Inabah Pondok Putri Suryalaya Islamic Boarding School in Ciamis, 3) Putra Putra Primary 5 Children's Orphanage in East Jakarta, 4) The Muhammadiyah Orphanage in Klaten, 5) Marsudi Putra Antasena Social Home in Magelang, and 6) Baiturahmah Orphanage in Kampar, Riau. The data collection technique used is secondary data analysis. Data analysis techniques used are the reduction and categorization of data, organizing data, and interpretation. The results showed that the adaptation of foster children to the natural environment showed a high category, adjustment to the social environment shows a low category because there are still many foster children who do not have a good relationship with other foster children, coaches and employees/staff, adjustment to themselves shows a low category because foster children find it difficult to control emotions and cannot focus on participating in activities at the Child Welfare Institution (CWI), adjusting to the tension, conflict and frustration they experienced showed a moderate category.

Abstract

This research aims to gain a clear about social worker’s role in facilitating the fulfillment of spiritual needs for elderly, social worker’s role in provide assistance to spiritual development for elderly, and social worker’s role in provide consulting services based on elderly needs. This research used qualitative approach with descriptive method. Informants were determined based on purposive sampling. Informants in this research amounted to 10 persons such us 2 persons of elderly, 6 persons of social worker, and 2 persons of staff. Data collection techniques used indepth interview, participatory observation and study of documentation. The results of this research showed that social worker have some role in implementation pesantren lansia juara program. Social worker’s role in facilitating the fulfillment of spiritual needs for elderly as social planner, coordinator, and fasilitator. Social worker’s role in provide assistance to spiritual development for elderly as borderer and fasilitator. Social worker’s role in provide consulting services based on elderly needs as counselor and motivator. There are some obstacles in implementation pesantren lansia juara program such us inconsistency social workers with their proper duties and functions, inter-professional coordination in implementation pesantren lansia juara program is lacking, and social workers doesn’t record in implementation pesantren lansia juara program. Based on the results of this research, the researcher proposed “Peksos Juara to Optimize in Implementation Pesantren Lansia Juara” program uses social groupwork methods with discussion techniques.
