Abstract

This study aims to determine students' learning difficulties in chemistry by using zoom in achieving cognitive, sociological and psychological aspects and to further examine the difficulties faced by students. Data collection using questionnaires and tests, then using the K-Means Cluster data analysis technique, with three clusters (groups) followed by crosstab and graph analysis, using SPSS IBM 22 and followed by the RASH model. the results obtained are that (a) cognitive aspects in the form of student thinking, followed by sociological aspects and psychological aspects related to students' internal factors (b) cognitive results are tested more deeply with the Expended Score Graph. The ICC is in accordance with the RASH Model, the difficult questions to work on are questions 10 and 13 are in the analysis (C4), the Outfit MNSQ value is between 0.5-0.15 and then from the Probability graph of Student Cognitive Ability is well distributed, thus the difficulty in the cognitive aspect lies in the questions presented. These results are very useful for identifying students' cognitive limitations in chemistry learning. Thus, from the results, it is explained that cognitive is the main difficulty, with the RASCH test it is known that the level of difficulty is at the analysis.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Desa Sisundung Kecamatan Angkola Barat Kebupaten Tapanuli Selatan, yang bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi tentang pemanfaatan tanaman obat tradisional yang berpotensi untuk mencegah penyakit asam urat. Metode kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan metode pemaparan materi dengan ceramah, tanya jawab dan menunjukkan secara langsung tumbuhan yang berpotensi mencegah penyakit asam urat. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pelaksanan kegiatan ini didukung sepenuhnya oleh masyarakat sehingga dapat berjalan dengan baik mulai dari persiapan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi kegiatan dan terlihat juga antusias masyarakat dalam kegiatan ini ditunjukkan dari banyaknya pertanyaan yang diberikan oleh masyarakat kepada tim penyuluh. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah bertambahnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang jenis tanaman obat tradisional dalam mengatasi atau pencegahan penyakit asam urat dan peningkatan kemampuan swamedikasi obat tradisional pada masyarakat desa Sisundung.

Abstract

Social media has become one of the potential educational tools in improving adolescent nutritional knowledge. This study aims to analyze the use of social media as an interesting and innovative means of nutritional education for high school, vocational school, and Islamic high school students. The method used is a literature review of scientific articles obtained through databases such as Academia.edu, SpringerOpen, Google Scholar, and SINTA. The results of the analysis show that social media-based education, such as Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp, can significantly improve adolescent knowledge about balanced nutrition. This increase occurs through creative approaches such as the use of videos, comics, and interactive games that can motivate adolescents to understand the importance of nutrition in everyday life. These findings emphasize the importance of utilizing social media as an effective educational tool to support positive behavioral changes related to nutrition in adolescents. Thus, social media-based education strategies can be an innovative step in facing the challenges of adolescent nutrition in the digital era.
