Abstract

Abstract: Cataract is a serious of health problems and causes of blindness. The total population in Southeast Asia is around 593 million, approximately half of the population in this region is affected by cataracts. In cataracts there is a permanent decline in visual function and cannot be fix with any optical aids. This study aims to determine the association of HbA1c with grade of cataract in Diabetes Mellitus Patients at RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin. This study was a descriptive observational study. The research data was taken from 30 samples of cataract patients with DM at RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin who had elimination by inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results of the study showed a very strong correlation between HbA1c with the degree of opacity of the eye lens on Buratto Classification in DM patients with a value of p = 0.00 and the correlation coefficient with a value of r = 0.878. Keywords: HbA1c, grade of cataract buratto classification, cataract, diabetes mellitus  Abstrak: Katarak merupakan suatu beban masalah kesehatan dan penyebab kebutaan dari total penyebab kebutaan.Total populasi penduduk di Asia Tenggara berjumlah sekitar 593 juta jiwa, kurang lebih setengah dari penduduk di kawasan ini dipengaruhi oleh penyakit katarak. Pada katarak terjadi penurunan fungsi penglihatan secara permanen dan tidak dapat diperbaiki dengan alat bantu optik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kadar HbA1c dengan derajat kekeruhan lensa mata pada penderita diabetes melitus di RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin.. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional deskriptif. Data penelitian diambil dari 30 sampel penderita katarak dengan DM yang ada di RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin yang telah memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi. Hasil penelitian  terdapat korelasi yang sangat kuat antara HbA1c dengan derajat kekeruhan lensa mata berdasarkan Klasifikasi Buratto pada penderita DM dengan nilai p = 0.00 dan koefisien korelasi dengan nilai r = 0.878.  Kata-Kata Kunci: HbA1c, derajat kekeruhan lensa klasifikasi buratto, katarak, diabetes mellitus

Abstract

Adolescent are prone to experiencing anxiety (Anxiety disorder), namely a condition of anxiety for a short time and feeling restless in every activity for no apparent reason. Anxiety is the most common mental disorder problem among teenagers in Indonesia, namely 26.7%. Based on the results of the situation and needs analysis with partners, namely the Youth Counseling Information Center (PIK-R) SMAN 1 Gambut, there are still several work programs from PIK-R that are still not optimal. Based on the results of the analysis, a significant value of 0.000<0.05 was obtained, which means there is a positive or meaningful relationship between the pre-test and post-test scores. This shows an increase in knowledge of 28 respondents (96%) between before and after providing education related to anxiety disorders at SMAN 1 Gambut. It is hoped that this activity can contribute to increasing students' knowledge and skills in dealing with anxiety disorders.
