Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the effect of compensation on employee performance, (2) the effect of motivation on employee performance at CV Giri Jasa Perkasa. The population in this study were all employees at CV Giri Jasa Perkasa, totaling 50 people in the operational section. The sampling technique used is a saturated sample by taking the entire population without having to draw a research sample so that a sample of 50 employees is obtained. The type of data used in the form of a questionnaire as a data collection method which is processed by the Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis method. Based on the results of this study, it shows that (1) compensation has a significant effect on employee performance, (2) motivation has a significant effect on employee performance at CV Giri Jasa Perkasa.

Abstract

The economic sector is a sector that is currently growing rapidly. Many business people have built their own businesses, both formal and informal businesses, one of which is MSMEs which play a role in increasing the country's income in the form of foreign exchange. East Java is a province with a growing economic performance that is superior to other provinces on the island of Java. Madiun City is also a developing city in the East Java region so that the development of MSMEs in Madiun City from year to year is sure to experience rapid growth. This study aims to analyze the influence of Entrepreneurial Competence and Entrepreneurship Knowledge on Business Success in MSMEs in Madiun City. The subjects in this study were business actors in the food and beverage business in Madiun City, totaling 30 business actors and using 30 samples determined by the saturated sampling method. This research uses quantitative methods with SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Model – Partial Least Square) analysis techniques. This study concludes that the results of hypothesis testing show a significant and positive effect between entrepreneurial competence and entrepreneurial knowledge on business success. This means that the entrepreneurial competency level of MSME actors regarding business success is getting better so that they can manage their potential into opportunities and can be developed in the future.

Abstract

Dinas Koperasi Kota Surabaya, yang sebelumnya dikenal dengan nama Departemen Koperasi, memiliki peran strategis dalam pembinaan dan pengembangan koperasi di daerah tersebut. Sejak awal berdirinya pada dekade 1970-an hingga kini, lembaga ini telah bertransformasi menjadi instansi yang lebih mandiri, dengan fokus pada pengelolaan koperasi dan usaha kecil. Dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) pengurus koperasi, Dinas Koperasi Kota Surabaya menyelenggarakan program pendidikan perkoperasian yang mencakup pelatihan tentang prinsip-prinsip koperasi, manajemen keuangan, serta penggunaan teknologi untuk efisiensi operasional. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pengurus koperasi dalam mengelola aspek keuangan, administrasi, dan pemasaran, serta mendorong penerapan teknologi yang dapat memperbaiki kinerja koperasi di pasar yang semakin kompetitif. Selain itu, Dinas Koperasi juga melakukan pendampingan berkelanjutan untuk memastikan bahwa materi pelatihan diterapkan secara efektif di lapangan.Pendidikan perkoperasian ini dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan: pertama, perencanaan yang melibatkan koordinasi dengan petugas koperasi untuk menyusun program kerja tahunan; kedua, pelatihan kepada pengurus koperasi yang mencakup penggunaan aplikasi digital "Awasi Boyo" untuk pengawasan koperasi; dan ketiga, pendampingan untuk memantau sejauh mana implementasi pelatihan dilakukan dan untuk memberikan evaluasi serta saran perbaikan. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan pengurus koperasi dapat lebih memahami prinsip-prinsip dasar koperasi dan mampu mengelola koperasi dengan lebih efisien dan profesional. Evaluasi dari program ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan perkoperasian secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman pengurus koperasi, memperbaiki manajemen keuangan, serta mendukung peningkatan daya saing koperasi di pasar
