Abstract

Community Service Activities in the form of internet and network training as well as Making Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) Cables for Muhammadiyah Jambi University Students aims to increase students' knowledge of network technology and the benefits of the internet as well as encouraging students to be able to independently manage networks and the internet. The training method used is a form of training outside the classroom using lecture, discussion and question and answer methods as well as direct networking practice. The lecture method used is intended to provide a theoretical explanation of internet and network material. The discussion method is used to explore students' understanding of the material given in lectures. The practical method is used to show directly how to make Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cables. The benefits gained from this training activity are that students are able to make network connections with Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cables and know the benefits of the internet.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the social and economic characteristics of street vendors, and to analyze the influence of working capital and working hours on street vendor income along Jalan Sentot Ali Basa, Payo Selincah Village, Jambi City. The method used in this study is descriptive quantitative, with data collection using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation to strengthen the results. The data used are primary data, and the analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression analysis and classical assumption testing, assisted by the SPSS version 25.0 analysis tool. The results of this study indicate that the working capital variable has a positive and significant influence on the income of street vendors on Sentot Ali Basa Street, Payo Selincah Village, Jambi City. Meanwhile, the working hours variable does not have a significant influence on the income of street vendors on Sentot Ali Basa Street, Payo Selincah Village, Jambi City.

Abstract

The community service partner faced persistent challenges, including limited household income and inadequate entrepreneurial skills to capitalize on post-pandemic culinary business opportunities. This community empowerment program aimed to strengthen family economic resilience by diversifying healthy beverage products made from locally sourced ingredients under the "BALIRIK" brand. The program sought to enhance the partner's production capacity, business management, and marketing competencies to create sustainable income-generating opportunities. The implementation consisted of three stages: (1) production training covering recipe standardization, food processing techniques, and hygiene practices; (2) business management training focusing on calculating the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), pricing strategies, and simple bookkeeping; and (3) digital marketing training emphasizing product branding, visual identity development, and social media optimization. The results demonstrated an 85% improvement in the partner's knowledge and skills regarding hygienic beverage production and business management. In addition, the program successfully established the "BALIRIK" brand identity, making the product more competitive in the local market. To ensure program sustainability, intensive post-training mentoring was provided to monitor production consistency, strengthen digital marketing implementation, maintain product quality, and support continuous sales growth and long-term business development.
