Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (PBL) oleh para guru, dengan dukungan media pembelajaran Prezi Video yang menarik. Program ini diikuti oleh 17 guru dari berbagai disiplin ilmu, dengan fokus pada presentasi interaktif, sesi diskusi, dan pendampingan. Pelatihan dilaksanakan secara luring, meliputi pemberian materi, diskusi, dan bimbingan individu. Berdasarkan evaluasi kuantitatif, 85% peserta berhasil membuat video berbasis Prezi, menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan motivasi di kalangan guru. Tingkat kepuasan peserta tinggi, dengan 16 dari 17 guru menyatakan materi yang disampaikan jelas dan relevan. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan efektivitas pendekatan ini dalam mendorong penerapan pembelajaran inovatif. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan ini membuktikan bahwa PBL yang didukung oleh media digital seperti Prezi dapat meningkatkan keterampilan mengajar guru. Rekomendasi ke depan mencakup penggunaan alat digital lainnya dan memperpanjang waktu pelatihan untuk penerapan praktik yang lebih mendalam. The Implementation of Innovative Learning Models for Teachers of SMA Negeri 19 Surabaya This activity's objective is to enhance teachers' understanding and application of project-based learning (PBL) supported by Prezi Video as an engaging instructional media. The program was attended by 17 teachers across various disciplines, focusing on interactive presentations, discussions, and mentoring. Conducted offline, the training included material delivery, discussion sessions, and individual guidance. Based on the quantitative evaluation, 85% of participants successfully created Prezi-based videos, highlighting an increase in understanding and motivation among teachers. Participant satisfaction was high, with 16 out of 17 reporting clear and relevant material presentation. The session results indicate the effectiveness of this approach in fostering innovative learning applications. In conclusion, this training demonstrates that PBL supported by digital media like Prezi can enhance teachers' instructional skills. Future recommendations include expanding to other digital tools and extending training time for better hands-on application.

Abstract

The objective of this study to describe whether the Project-based learning method can improve students’ reading comprehension at VIII F grade of SMPN 43 Surabaya. The research design uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. The time was arranged from May to September 2022. There were 39 students in the class. The class consisted 20 boys and 19 girls. The student’s score indicated the result of implementation. The students’ score increase. The Project-based learning method improved the students’ achievement in reading notice text significantly and helped the students become active and creative in learning. The Planning, Acting, Observing, and Reflecting of teaching-learning use of Project-based learning were successfully conducted. It can be shown that researchers can make a lesson plan and apply PJBL as a method in teaching reading Notice text. The teacher can combine Project-based learning with another method if conditionally to make students don’t bored while receiving the materials.
