Abstract

In this study, the author took the title The Professional Role of Teachers in Improving the Learning Process, for this we both know that the teacher is an important figure in an educational institution. His role as a teacher and educator makes him a highly respected figure for everyone. The professional role of teachers in improving the learning process is also inseparable from how much competence they have. The better the competencies he has, the better the learning process that takes place in the classroom. The position of the teacher as a professional is intended to function to increase the dignity and the role of the teacher as a learning agent to improve the quality of education and national education. The position of teachers as professionals aims to implement the national education system, namely the development of the potential of students to become human beings who believe and fear God Almighty, have noble character, are healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and become democratic and responsible citizens,answer.

Abstract

Perubahan zaman yang terus dinamis menuntut perbaikan kualitas institusi sekolahharus dilakukan. Optimalisasi mutu pendidikan merupakan tantangan utama dalammeningkatkan standar pembelajaran di berbagai tingkat pendidikan. Mutu pendidikanmenjadi fokus utama dalam upaya meningkatkan efektivitas sistem pendidikan. Sedangkankinerja guru memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam membentuk mutu pendidikan.Kunci keberhasilan ini terletak pada kinerja guru sebagai agen utama dalam prosespendidikan. Maka dari itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki dan menganalisisupaya-upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru guna mencapaioptimalisasi mutu pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian studi pustakadengan mengumpulkan sejumlah buku-buku serta artikel yang berkenaan dengan masalahdan tujuan penelitian.

Abstract

This journal is conducted with research, which aims to determine and define how the effect of the implementation of educational supervision by the principal on teacher performance in schools. This research was conducted using one approach, namely qualitative approach. The educators in schools became the subject of research by taking samples of several teachers, using proportional random sampling techniques, and from the research and assessment it can be seen that the implementation of educational supervision by the principal has a positive effect on teacher performance and the implementation of educational supervision by the principal is also very impactful on teacher performance in schools.
