Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, menganalisis, dan menjelaskan pengaruh pengembangan karir dan kompetensi organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai Dinas PUPR Kab. Karawang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif dan verfikatif. Sampel dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode Sampel Jenuh dengan jumlah sampel 100 responden dari populasi 123 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu teknik Analisis Rentang Skala dan Analisis Jalur dengan bantuan Method of Succesive Interval (MSI), program computer Microsoft Excel 2013, dan SPSS. Berdasarkan hasil penelitan dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pegawai setuju terhadap Pengembangan Karir dan komitmen organisasi karena dinilai baik dan dapat diterima oleh pegawai PUPR Kabupaten Karawang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis jalur diperoleh bahwa terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara pengembangan karir dan komitmen organisasi, faktor yang paling dominan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai adalah komitmen organisasi hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai Standardized Coefficients yang terbesar. Komitmen organisasi berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai. Terdapat pengaruh secara parsial dan simultan antar pengembangan karir dan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai dinas pekerjaan umum dan penataan ruang Kab. Based on the results of path analysis, it is found that there is a strong relationship between career development and organizational commitment, the most dominant factor influencing employee performance is organizational commitment, this is evidenced by the largest Standardized Coefficients value. Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. There is a partial and simultaneous influence between career development and organizational commitment on the performance of public works employees and district spatial planning.
