Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan studi: Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan konsumsi buah dan sayur terhadap kejadian obesitas pada remaja di Filipina. Metodologi: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian cross sectional. Jumlah populasi dan sampel sebanyak 7308 responden yangdiambil. Penelitian ini menggunakan datasekunderyangdiperolehdariGlobalSchool.-basedStudentsHealhtSurvey(GSHS)Filipinatahun2015. Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pertama tidak ada hubungan antara makan buah dangan kejadian obesitas pada remaja dinegara Filipina dari 7308 reponden dengan nilai (p=0.301).Kedua tidak ada hubungan antara makan sayur dangan kejadian obesitas pada remaja dinegara Filipina dari 7308 reponden dengan nilai (p=0.176). Manfaat:Hasilpenelitianinidapatbermanfaatsebagairefrensidanbahanevaluasi,penelitianselanjutnyaterkaitkonsumsi buah dan sayur terhadap kejadian obesitas pada remaja di Filipina. Abstract Purpose of Study: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between fruit and vegetable consumption on the incidence of obesity in adolescents in the Philippines. Methodology:This study uses quantitative research methods with a cross sectional research approach. The number of population and samples as many as 7308 respondents were taken. This study uses secondary data obtained from the Global School.-based Students Health Survey (GSHS) Philippines in 2015. Results:The results of this study indicate that first there is no relationship between eating fruit and the incidence of obesity in adolescents in the Philippines from 7308 respondents with a value (p = 0.301). Second, there is no relationship between eating vegetables and the incidence of obesity in adolescents in the Philippines from 7308 respondents with a value (p = 0.176). Applications: The results of this study can be useful as a reference and evaluation material, for further research related to fruit and vegetable consumption on the incidence of obesity in adolescents in the Philippines.
