Abstract

Diversity is the initial trigger of changing attitudes among individuals. The attitude change can be negative or positive, depending on each individual whether to menfilter anything that indicates the creation of a change of attitude towards a positive or negative. Writing this article aims to provide an overview of male and female students of SMK Plus Nurul Ulum were able to create a positive change in attitude towards the tolerance with teachings based on Islamic religious and cultural values Pendhalungan. The method used in this study is a qualitative method that is by conducting indepth interviews with some of the parties in the relevant schools. Then the data were also obtained from journals and literature support.

Abstract

History learning according to the 2013 curriculum has a goal, one of which is to develop historical skills (historical explanation) which is the basis for logical, creative, inspirational and innovative thinking skills. But the fact is that in schools there are still many historical subjects that are taught conventionally regardless of the learning objectives achieved, so the purpose of this research is the application of the Discovery learning model to improve historical explanation and student learning outcomes. The research location is at the KH. Agus Salim school in class XII IPS in the academic year 2021/2022. This research uses a CAR research design. The research was carried out for 2 cycles, namely cycle 1 and cycle 2. The data analysis used was quantitative and qualitative.

Abstract

Indonesia as a developing country that aspires to improve the quality of education by delivery of human beings who have intelligence that is balanced with high emotional intelligence. Innovation of the learning model is the first step to move forward in advancing the quality of education in this country. The purpose of writing this article is to provide an overview of PBL based learning model constructivist sosioculturalism as an innovative learning model in the millennial era. The method used in this article is descriptive and theoretical analysis with data collected through the study of a variety of articles, books, journals and sources that support the learning model PBL (Problem Based Learning) and constructivist theory sosioculturalism.

Abstract

Tha'buthaaan art in Arjasa District, Jember, East Java, is one of the oldest arts that still exists today. This art has high cultural and historical value and reflects the identity of the local community. This research aims to understand the existence of tha'buthaan art in Arjasa District from an anthropological perspective. The method used is qualitative with an anthropological approach, collecting information through interviews, observations, and literature studies. The results of the research prove that this tha'buthaan has social, cultural, and religious functions. The existence of tha'buthaan art is faced with various challenges, which also require efforts from various parties, not just artists. These efforts must be made to maintain this art. By understanding the extent of this art from an anthropological perspective, it is hoped that it can help in conservation efforts and promote the significance of traditional arts in the modern era.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of using Canva and Wordwall learning media on the learning achievement of class X AKL 1 students at SMK 02 Islam 45 Ambulu. The main focus of the study is to determine the extent to which the media affects student learning achievement. The method used is quantitative with the True Experimental Design approach, which allows researchers to control all external variables during the experimental process. The research design used is Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design involving two groups, namely the experimental class and the control class, to test the hypothesis that the use of Canva and Wordwall has a significant impact on learning achievement. Data collection was carried out through tests designed to measure student learning achievement. All data were then analyzed using scoring techniques and then conducting normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests, which were processed with the help of the SPSS version 25 application. The results showed that the control class obtained the highest score of 85 while the experimental class after being treated achieved a higher score of 90. From the hypothesis test, a significance value of 0.009 was obtained which was smaller than the limit of 0.05, so H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Abstract

Local history is a branch of history that is interesting to discuss the culture or history of a region. One of Jember's local historical relics is the stone gong inscription. The Batu Gong Inscription is located in Kaliputh, Rambipuji District. This inscription is thought to have existed since the 7th – 8th century AD. This inscription was discovered by Dutch archaeologist W.F. Stutterheim and H.R. Heekeren in 1933. The aim of this research is to analyze the various factors that caused this inscription to receive less attention and outline the historical context of the Batu Gong inscription in the development of local Jember history which reflects the culture and traditions of the community at that time. This research uses literature, observation and interview methods. Factors in which the stone gong inscriptions have been neglected are lack of attention from the government and society, lack of promotion and education, as well as lack of coordination and governance. It can be seen from the literature that the role of government and society is very necessary. The government can be a motivator, facilitator and dynamist in preserving the Batu Gong Inscription.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat menuntut pendidik lebih menguasai teknologi yang lebih modern. Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran yang inovatif penting untuk menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada student center. Salah satu media yang dapat digunakan yaitu videoscribe. Melalui media videoscribe fakta-fakta Sejarah yang sulit dipahami bisa ditampilkan dalam bentuk audio-visual. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment. Desain yang digunakan desain pre-test dan post-test kelompok tak ekuivalen. Tempat penelitian adalah Madrasah Aliyah Al Hasan dengan populasi kelas XI IPS. Sampel yang digunakan kelas XI IPS 1 dan XI IPS 2. Berdasarkan hasil uji t non independen pada kelas eksperimen nilai t hitung sebesar 3,533 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 1,868. Hasil uji t independen pada data post-test 2,194. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan media videoscribe terhadap hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran sejarah.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran memegang peranan krusial dalam menunjang efektivitas proses belajar mengajar. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan inovatif terhadap media pembelajaran menjadi suatu kebutuhan guna melengkapi ketersediaan sarana pembelajaran yang ada. Meskipun banyak sekolah telah memiliki akses terhadap teknologi digital, penerapan inovasi media pembelajaran belum sepenuhnya optimal. Salah satu contohnya adalah SMP Ainul Yaqin yang telah memanfaatkan perangkat Chromebook laptop dengan sistem operasi Chrome OS yang terintegrasi dengan Content Delivery Management (CDM). Melalui kemajuan ini, siswa diharapkan dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam memahami dan menganalisis informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis Google Site serta mengevaluasi keterkaitannya dengan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VIII dalam mata pelajaran IPS, khususnya materi sejarah kolonialisme. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa sebuah inovasi media digital yang dapat digunakan untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran IPS di SMP Ainul Yaqin, yang diharapkan memberikan kemudahan dan inovasi digital di SMP Ainul Yaqin.

Abstract

Petik laut merupakan sebuah tradisi masyarakat pesisir pantai Payangan Sumberejo yang dilaksanakan secara turun temurun. Tradisi ini dilaksanakan sebagai bentuk rasa syukur masyarakat terhadap laut karena telah memberikan sumbangsih bagi kehidupan mereka terutama para nelayan, sekaligus agar terhindar dari marabahaya. Hingga saat ini tradisi petik laut masih tetap dilaksanakan setiap tahunnya, yaitu pada 1 suro sebagai simbol permohonan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian sejarah untuk membantu menyajikan suatu hasil atau data penelitian dengan menggunakan 4 tahap yaitu heuristik, kritik, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Tujuan adanya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui makna dan nilai tradisi petik laut masyarakat pesisir pantai Payangan di Desa Sumberejo Ambulu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa petik laut sudah menjadi bentuk budaya lokal masyarakat Sumberejo terutamanya wilayah pesisir pantai Payangan

Abstract

Tari Topeng Kona, sebagai bagian dari kebudayaan Bondowoso, merupakan warisan budaya tak benda yang menjadi identitas khas dari sebuah wilayah tertentu. Kegiatan riset menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dimana memungkinkan peneliti mampu mendapatkan pemahaman secara mendalam tentang Tari Topeng Kona dari Kabupaten Bondowoso. Data akan dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan tokoh-tokoh terkait, observasi langsung terhadap pertunjukan tari, serta pengumpulan dokumen terkait. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kronologis dan kesejarahan, memperhatikan perkembangan tari topeng dari masa ke masa, serta melibatkan elemen-elemen penting dalam pertunjukan yang relevan dan memiliki signifikansi dalam konteks budaya lokal. Dengan demikian, pelaksanaan riset mampu memberikan dampak positif terhadap pemahaman tentang nilai-nilai warisan budaya, dan tantangan pelestarian Tari Topeng Kona di Bondowoso. Tujuannya adalah untuk merumuskan strategi yang tepat untuk melestarikan warisan budaya ini di era modern. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam memperkuat pemahaman masyarakat mengenai keberhargaan sebuah kesenian Tari Topeng Kona sebagai bagian dari warisan budaya mereka, serta membantu dalam upaya pelestariannya untuk generasi mendatang.
