Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the use of the Al-Qur'an Learning Method at the Darul Furqon Pariaman Islamic Boarding School in improving student learning in schools in improving the learning process by tahfiz teachers. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative analysis approach in collecting data, pictures and interviews. The method used by Tahfizh Toddler Darul Furqon Santok Kota Pariaman asatidzah uses the Pakistani method including the talaqqi method, the Sabaq method, the sabki method, and the manzil method. The method used is very effective and fast for early childhood children in memorizing verses of the Qur'an. It is evident from parents who are very enthusiastic in supervising and supporting their children to enter this Tahfizh Al-Qur'an Educational Institute.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to determine the scientific writing ability of students at IAI West Sumatra and the factors that influence it. The lack of student knowledge about article writing and how to publish inspiring articles is done by community service to convey socialization and provide training on writing this article. If students understand the importance of writing articles in the academic world, it is hoped that they will be motivated to write scientific articles and publish scientific articles as contributors to the development of science, and can practice it directly by utilizing journals managed by the campus. Based on the partner's main problem, namely the lack of knowledge of students about writing scientific articles, the solution offered to partners is to provide materials related to writing scientific articles, reference managers, submit and publish articles to increase student understanding in writing scientific articles. The methods used are presentation, questions and answers, and simulations. The target to be achieved in this community service activity is the introduction of article writing for West Sumatra IAI students. The output target of this program is to increase the ability to write articles for IAI West Sumatra students and the ability to publish articles in national journals. The data sources studied were IAI West Sumatra students.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to: describe and reveal the readiness of UPT PPL to manage micro teaching and Field Experience Practices (PPL) in preparing professional teachers at Private Islamic Religious Universities in Padang City. The type of research used is field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The results showed that: In Private Islamic Religious Universities (PTAIS) in Padang City, which prepares micro teaching management and Field Experience Practices (PPL) is not the Technical Implementation Unit of the Field Experience Program (UPT PPL), but the management of micro teaching and Field Experience Practices (PPL) is separate. Micro teaching is carried out like an ordinary course, its management is under the responsibility of the chairman / dean. While the Field Experience Practices (PPL), the management is managed by the Field Experience Practices (PPL) committee which is selected every time the Field Experience Practices (PPL) will be carried out under the responsibility of the chairman/dean.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to find out the understanding of STIT Ahlussunnah Bukittinggi students regarding research methodology in preparing research proposals. If students understand research methodology, it is hoped that they can be motivated to write various research forms with multiple methods. The main problem in this service is the lack of student understanding of research methodology, so to overcome this is to provide training related to research methodology. So that it can increase student understanding in further research. The methods of this service are presentation, question and answer, and demonstration. The desired result of this community service activity is an understanding of research methodology for STIT Ahlussunnah Bukittinggi students.  The output target of this program is an increased understanding of research methodology for STIT Ahlussunnah Bukittinggi students. Abstract

Boarding school like a home for the students which is a blend of three educations; namely family education, school education, and community education. Islamic boarding schools have an important role in educating the character of students, especially students who have bad habits such as skipping classes or running away from the hostel. A strategy is needed to overcome and address this behavior of truant students. Therefore, this study aims to: (1) find out the strategies used by Islamic boarding school supervisors in addressing the behavior of truant students, (2) describe the strategy of the supervisor in addressing this behavior. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive method. The research subjects were Nurul Yaqin Al-Hidayah and Nurul Yaqin Aswaja Islamic boarding schools who were conducted by interviewing the subject directly. The results of the study show that students who skip classes will be called into the counseling room and asked about the cause and advised if skipping is done just once. If it still continues, then by calling his parents to the hut. In addition, students who skip classes are also given sanctions such as cleaning the toilet

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Nurul Yaqin Ringan-ringan is a boarding school located in the Padang Pariaman Regency, Indonesia which has a lot of enthusiasts for students studying at the school. Apart from this, the school is famous for its Traditional Islamic Boarding Schools, there also has a learning method for its students that is unique and not shared by other schools in Indonesia, namely the Maulang Kaji Method. The method applied by the Nurul Yaqin Ringan-ringan Islamic boarding school has succeeded in providing a perfect understanding to all students in understanding the lessons carried out before learning will be taught by the teachers in the classroom. The purpose of this research is to reveal and understand the learning methods used by students at the Nurul Yaqin Ringan-ringan Islamic Boarding School, Padang Pariaman Regency. This research is a field research study using a qualitative descriptive analysis method. The results of this research can be concluded that the Maulang Kaji Method is a tradition that has been carried out from generation to generation by the students of the Nurul Yaqin Islamic Boarding School, Padang Pariaman, to prepare the lessons to be taught by the teachers. This was referred directly by the buya of the Islamic boarding school to the learning method of Imam Syafi'I who studied with Imam Malik. While the influence of the implementation of the maulang kaji method on learning for students, namely facilitating students in reading books, making it easier for students to understand learning material and students are more active in learning and discussion in the classroom, so that those who do not understand the material being taught, the students can ask without embarrassment.

Abstract

Many teachers do not have sufficient knowledge about emotional intelligence and how to develop it in children. In addition, the existing curriculum tends to emphasise cognitive and academic achievement, while emotional and social aspects are often neglected. Despite awareness of the importance of emotional intelligence, many teachers may not know how to implement effective strategies in their daily teaching. The purpose of this study is to identify and explore the role of teachers in developing children's emotional intelligence in primary education. The research method used was qualitative research with a case study research design to get a comprehensive picture of the role of teachers in developing children's emotional intelligence. The results found that teachers in primary education have an important role in developing children's emotional intelligence, but various challenges often hinder this role. Teachers' understanding of emotional intelligence varies widely, and this affects how they implement teaching strategies related to emotional development.
