Abstract

The development of information technology has reached into various fields, such as education. The emergence of e-learning is one manifestation of information and communication technology (ICT) in education. Until recently, only a few universities (6%) have implemented e-learning in Indonesia. Those that have implemented e-learning are still not optimally utilized. Some experts have also warned all organizations that will adopt e-learning to be concerned with thorough preparation to avoid overruns in costs. There is a method that consists of factors to measure the level of readiness of tertiary institutions towards the implementation of e-learning. The level of readiness is obtained through the distribution of questionnaires using 5 Likert scales. This research proposed a framework that produces four factors from the university, which covers the lecturer’s characteristics, e-learning facilities, learning environment, learning management, and four factors from the student’s side, namely, self-learning, motivation, learner’s control, student’s characteristic. The measurement results show the level of readiness for e-learning implementation in tertiary institutions in Central Java Province reaches level 3 or ready but needs a few improvements. Improvements that must be made includes (1) Designing exciting learning content through interactive multimedia; (2) Increasing the frequency of e-workshops or e-training related to technological developments, especially to e-learning; (3) encouraging students to be more active in discussions and giving opinions; (4) Developing plans related to infrastructure such as servers related to their capacities; (5) strengthening the role of IT units in serving e-learning users.

Abstract

Scheduling courses is a common problem in tertiary institutions, including clashes between lecturers' teaching time, students' rooms, and classes. This study proposes the development of a course scheduling application to overcome lecturers' teaching schedule conflicts, classroom, and student. The course scheduling application developed is website-based, making it easier for users to run the application because it can be accessed using a browser. The application uses PHP programming language and MySQL database as data storage media, while the system development method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD). The RAD method is used because the RAD method emphasizes the development cycle with a short time. The test results using white-box testing show that the developed application is in line with expectations, and no errors were found in all features. The trial results used 265 lecturers' teaching assignment data with the availability of 65 classes, it only took 561 seconds, and no clashes occurred. This scheduling application can process quite a lot of course schedules in a reasonably short time. The results of this study are a website-based course scheduling application that can overcome the problems of lecturer schedule conflicts, student schedule conflicts, teaching time conflicts and lecture room conflicts.

Abstract

Pasca pandemi Covid-19 terjadi peningkatan aktivitas belanja online sebesar 31% selama pandemi Covid-19. pada Shopee Terjadi peningkatan transaksi sebesar 130% dan memiliki rata-rata kunjungan tertinggi perbulannya sebanyak 93,4 juta. Hal tersebut mendorong para pelaku bisnis e-commerce agar mampu beradaptasi dalam sisi pelayanan penjualan barang dan jasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang signifikan terhadap minat dan perilaku pengguna e-commerce Shopee dengan menggunakan model Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of thecnology 2 (UTAUT 2) agar mampu meningkatkan penjualan e-commerce. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap behavioral intention adalah variabel social influence dengan T-statistik sebesar 2,150, p-value 0,032 dan variabel habit dengan nilai T-statistik sebesar 6,016, p-value 0,000. Sedangkan faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap use behavior adalah variabel habit dengan nilai T-statistik sebesar 3,773, p-value 0,000 dan variabel behavioral intention dengan nilai T-statistik sebesar 3,355, p-value 0,001. Dari penelitian didapati kesimpulan bahwa pengembang Shopee agar dapat meningkatkan dari sisi layout sistem dan juga peningkatan intensitas notifikasi untuk mempromosikan produk agar dapat mempertahankan minat pengguna e-commerce shopee dalam berbelanja online.
