Abstract

Recruitment is the process of selecting and attracting prospective employees who are able to work in a management. So recruitment is an effort to find and attract prospective workers to submit their applications to job vacancies in a company. The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation, constraints and obstacles that occur in the process of recruiting workers at the sales marketing department at Novotel Pekanbaru. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to describe the real situation by collecting information data directly from the field. The key informants of this research are the senior sales manager of Novotel Pekanbaru, marketing communication of Novotel Pekanbaru and the TNC department of Novotel Pekanbaru. This study uses data collection techniques from literature study, observation, documentation and interviews. The results of this study can be seen from the recruitment process starting from planning, until the work contract is going well in accordance with the SOP implemented by management and Novotel Pekanbaru, so that employees who are accepted meet the required qualifications. Abstract

This study examines the reflection of masculinity and femininity in the Qur’an and its relationship to the personality of Prophet Muhammad and his beloved wife, Siti Khadijah, in providing role models for humanity. The method used in this study is qualitative. Data sources were obtained through a review of various journals, news articles, expert analyses, and related literature. Data analysis uses the interpretation of past and present scholars on verses related to the theme and opinions of scientists. This study focuses on the masculine and feminine traits in which many patriarchal societies view men as superior to women, even though this is not the case in teachings. Therefore, this study presents concrete evidence on the personalities of Prophet Muhammad and Siti Khadijah. The findings of this study include the definition of masculinity and femininity, the Islamic response to both, and the personalities of Prophet Muhammad and Siti Khadijah in practicing masculinity and feminism as a benchmark for humanity. This study concludes that men and women can possess masculine and feminine traits, in that women can have masculine characteristics and men can have feminine traits, provided that they are legitimized by Islamic law.

Abstract

This research examines the role of verses of destiny in the context of the Indonesian presidential election in 2024. The scope of the research includes analyzing the interpretation of verses of destiny and their relevance to contemporary political dynamics. The main objective of the research is to understand the relationship between people's belief in destiny and the presidential election process, and to explore the psychological and spiritual factors that influence voter behavior. The methodology used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical nature, which integrates two main perspectives: politics and theology. From a political perspective, this research examines how people's belief in the verses of destiny influenced the dynamics of the presidential election, including campaign strategies and the perception of victory as part of divine providence. Meanwhile, from a theological perspective, in-depth analysis is conducted on the interpretation of Quranic verses on destiny to understand how spiritual values guide people's attitudes in facing political contestation.  Data were collected through literature studies, analysis of Quranic texts, and observation of relevant current socio-political phenomena. The collected data were then described in detail and analyzed to reveal patterns and meanings relevant to the research objectives. The results show that people's perception of destiny has a significant influence on attitudes and behaviors in political contestation. The findings highlight the importance of understanding the spiritual aspect in the dynamics of presidential elections, where victory is seen as a manifestation of divine providence, while still emphasizing the role of human effort in the process. This research makes an important contribution to understanding the interaction between religious beliefs and the democratization process in Indonesia.
