Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ditujukan kepada para siswa/siswi di SMK Negeri 1 Sipoholon. Berdasarkan informasi dari kepala sekolah bahwa di sekolah tersebut bahwa belum pernah dilaksanakan pelatihan kepemimpinan, sehingga pelatihan kepemimpinan sangat dibutuhkan di sekolah tersebut. Alasan pentingnya pelatihan kepemimpinan kepada siswa secara dini, adalah supaya sejak awal telah dibentuk pola pikir dan karakter sebagai pemimpin. Kegiatan pelatihan kepemimpinan yang dilaksanakan adalah sebagai sumbangsih terhadap penumbuhan jiwa kepemimpinan dalam diri peserta didik sekaligus membekali generasi masa depan agar menjadi pemimpin yang handal dan berakhlak. Bentuk PkM yaitu pelatihan jiwa kepemimpinan dengan metode: ceramah, simulasi dan demostrasi. Hasil dari pelatihan ini adalah siswa/i peserta pelatihan mulai memiliki pemahaman tentang teori kepemimpinan. eserta termotivasi untuk mengaktualisasikan jiwa kepemimpinan mereka dan termotivasi untuk mengembangkan potensi kepemimpinan dalam dirinya.

Abstract

The portrait of natural damage in Parhorboan Village, North Tapanuli Regency is a concern and concern for the Theology Study Program to carry out Community Service activities. In addition to the rampant logging of protected forests, chemical fertilizers also damage the humus content of the soil and indirectly create disaster for humans and God's creation. Congregation of the Protestant Communion Church as spiritual beings must be involved in caring for the land and nature for sustainable innovation. Participants in this Community Service activity were lecturers and fifth semester students of the Theology study program at the Tarutung Christian Institute and the Parhorboan Congregation. The purpose of this Community Service activity is not limited to enriching the Ecotheology Course but also providing aspects of knowledge and skills for the congregation in making organic fertilizer. The high price of chemical fertilizers helps farmers in accessing agricultural fertilizer needs. Therefore, the manufacture of organic fertilizers is one solution. By using organic fertilizers, the soil content is not damaged, the topsoil is maintained, and beautiful nature becomes real.

Abstract

Stunting is a serious health problem in Indonesia, including in the North Tapanuli region, North Sumatra Province. The root cause of stunting is a lack of understanding of the root causes of stunting itself. This problem is certainly not limited to the task of the Ministry of Health alone, but the existence of the church is very strategic and important for service integration and collaboration. The purpose of this PkM activity is to conduct stunting ambassador cadre formation within the scope of church workers. The ambassadors are given the burden of understanding the root causes of stunting, education on forms of church service related to stunting education, and stunting ambassador cadre formation to the GPP Tapian Nauli Congregation Assembly. The church has an important role in helping to eradicate stunting in North Tapanuli. The church can be a forum for providing education and coaching to congregation members about the importance of balanced nutrition-maternal and child health.
