Abstract

The quality of education is reflected by the competence of graduates which is influenced by the quality of the process and content of education. Achievement of graduate competencies that meet standards must be supported by educational content and processes that also meet standards. Currently students tend to solve a problem by imitating the problem solving demonstrated by the teacher when discussing questions. In addition, later students will find it difficult to apply concepts to solve non-routine problems and real problems related to the concepts that have been studied. This is what causes the low ability of students to solve problems. The research method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, this method is used to solve the problem under study where this research is aimed at extracting data and information related to the management of the learning system to improve the quality of student chemistry learning at SMA Negeri 8 and SMA Taman. Bekasi students. To obtain objective data in this study the authors used certain data collection methods and techniques. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the research, the Principal has carried out learning management, including: Mastering the outlines of the teaching program for each field of study and each class, Arranging school programs for one year, Arranging lesson schedules, Coordinating activities for formulating teaching unit models, Arranging activities assessment, Implementing the norms of grade promotion, Coordinating school guidance activities, Maintaining and developing school library books and learning tools. The Principal in learning management is responsible for the implementation of educational activities, school administration, coaching other educational staff, and the utilization and maintenance of facilities and infrastructure. In the implementation of relatively good learning, the teacher carries out learning activities including preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities. The core activities consist of exploration, elaboration, and communication activities. The principal provides guidance, assistance, supervision and assessment on issues related to the technical implementation and development of teaching education in the form of improvement of teaching education programs and activities in order to create teaching and learning situations. The impact of the implementation of learning management on students and schools are: 1) school final exam results, 2) accreditation scores, 3) public trust and 4) on the academic and non-academic achievements of SMA Negeri 8 Bekasi students.

Abstract

The title of this research is : "Standard Establishment To Improve Performance Implementation of Standards of Internal Quality Assurance Systems Private Universities”,  motivated by the fact that the IQAS Standards in private universities generally have not been able to increase the IQAS performance of private universities. This study aims to describe and analyze IQAS in private universities to improve the performance of the IQAS of UNBIS Standard Implementation and is based on: a) theories: System, Goal Setting, basic concepts: Good Vision and Mission, and ISO 21001:2018 Management Model. Descriptive exploratory method with a qualitative approach of case study type has been used in this research, and this is to focus on one particular object as a case and make general conclusions according to scientific facts. The results of the research in general have described the Establishment of IQAS of UNBIS Standards for improving the performance of the Implementation of the IQAS of UNBIS Standards and specific conclusions that: 1) The rationale and background for the preparation of the Organization's Vision and Mission in order to improve the performance of the implementation of the IQAS Standards of UNBIS has been established, and socialized to the stakeholders. The Standard Establishment to improve the Performance of Implementation of IQAS UNBIS Standards has been implemented. Management principles, policies,  purpose, goal achievement strategy in Standard Implementation to improve the performance of the UNBIS IQAS Standard have been implemented intergratedly by the  the parties involved in UNBIS. The Outputs of Standard Establishment to improve the Performance of Implementation of IQAS of UNBIS Standards have been achieved. The efforts to overcome obstacles in setting standards to improve the performance of the implementation of IQAS Standards have been  identified.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are one of the educational institutions that are expected to be able to build Islamic character for all students who produce graduates who have various competencies to face various changes in today's era. legality is very much needed by both the world of work or the world of education for pesantren graduates. who have combined religious learning in pesantren with formal education and the quality of pesantren graduates is strongly influenced by the learning process in the pesantren.Therefore, Character Education in Islamic Boarding Schools is very important to balance the existing knowledge in Islamic boarding schools and schools. It is very necessary to research with a focus on character education issues, the objectives are: 1) Knowing the character education and materials developed by the Cipasung Islamic Boarding School and Sukamanah Islamic Boarding School. 2) Knowing the implementation used in the character education process developed by Cipasung and Sukamanah Islamic Boarding Schools. 3) Knowing the results of students' character education graduates who are the result of the education process in Cipasung and Sukamanah modern Islamic boarding schools. The theory that underlies this research is as follows: 1) Love of God and truth, 2) Responsibility, discipline, and independence, 3) Trust, 4) Respect and courtesy, 5) Compassion, care, and cooperation, 6) Trust self, creative, and never give up, 7) Fair and leadership spirit, 8) Kind and humble, 9) Tolerant and peace-loving. Research methods and procedures refer to Qualitative research approach. the location of the research was carried out at the Cipasung Islamic Boarding School and the Sukamanah Islamic Boarding School Tasikmalaya. The main findings of this study are. 1) The goals and materials for character education applied by the Kyai at the Islamic boarding school are Character Education in paternalistic religio education based on religious values that are based on the character of the Prophet Muhammad SAW by setting the goals and content of character education. 2) Implementation of character education developed in Islamic boarding schools, 3) Knowing the results of graduate learning that is applied is totality education by prioritizing the application of all knowledge in daily life and students' perceptions of the character education they experience in Islamic boarding schools. The implications of these findings are: 1) The objectives and materials of religious paternalistic character education by setting the goals and content of character education. 2) the implementation of character education developed in Islamic boarding schools. 3) knowing the results of graduate learning that is applied is totality education by prioritizing the application of all knowledge in everyday life and students' perceptions of the character education they experience in Islamic boarding schools.
