Abstract

Pendidikan yang bersifat adaptif dan inklusif harus menekankan pentingnya kurikulum yang sensitif terhadap kebutuhan setiap murid tanpa membedakan latar belakang, kondisi awal, kecerdasan, atau minat serta bakat mereka. Dalam konteks globalisasi dan digitalisasi, kehadiran pendidikan yang adaptif dan inklusif sangat penting untuk mendukung masa depan murid. Berbagai teori belajar, seperti konstruktivisme, behaviorisme, koneksionisme, dan teori belajar sosial, berperan dalam pengembangan kurikulum yang responsif terhadap kebutuhan murid. Konstruktivisme memainkan peran kunci dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang berfokus pada murid, sementara behaviorisme memberikan struktur dan reinforcement yang diperlukan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar. Koneksionisme, dengan memanfaatkan teknologi, memungkinkan kurikulum untuk beradaptasi dengan kebutuhan murid secara langsung, sedangkan teori belajar sosial memfasilitasi kolaborasi dan pembelajaran melalui observasi. Integrasi berbagai teori belajar dapat menghasilkan kurikulum yang komprehensif, mendukung pengembangan keterampilan akademik, sosial, emosional, dan teknologi yang sesuai dengan tuntutan abad ke-21.

Abstract

Marine debris consists of materials discarded or unintentionally introduced into the marine environment by human activities. The increasing volume of marine debris is largely attributed to human activity near coastal areas. Bluka Teubai Beach, North Aceh, a popular visitor destination, has a high potential for waste accumulation. This study, conducted in May 2024, employed a purposive sampling method to assess marine debris. The research area was divided into three stations with distinct characteristics, using the line transect method. Results from Bluka Teubai Beach identified two primary waste categories: organic and inorganic. Organic waste included wood, bamboo, and coconut husk, while inorganic waste consisted of plastic, glass, metal, and rubber. Among organic waste, wood exhibited the highest absolute density (0.456 items/m²) and relative density (53.950%), followed by bamboo (0.317 items/m², 39.641%) and coconut husk (0.049 items/m², 6.409%). The overall density of organic waste at Bluka Teubai Beach was highest for wood (0.23 items/m²), with an average relative density of 58.640%. For inorganic waste, plastic had the highest absolute density in pieces (2.24 items/m²) and relative density in pieces (96.968%). The highest absolute density and relative mass of inorganic waste were also found in plastic (99.94 g/m² and 64.36%, respectively). Temporal analysis revealed that organic waste accumulation peaked on Fridays, while inorganic waste was most abundant on Tuesdays in terms of count and on Sundays in terms of mass. The results underscore the urgent need for targeted waste management strategies and continuous monitoring to mitigate marine debris pollution and protect the coastal ecosystem of Bluka Teubai Beach.

Abstract

Early detection of chronic diseases is a critical step in effective prevention and treatment. Decision Support Systems (DSS) based on classification algorithms have become an increasingly important tool in helping medical personnel accurately and efficiently identify chronic disease risks. This study aims to analyze the performance of various classification algorithms in SPK for early detection of chronic diseases, focusing on accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score as evaluation metrics. The research method involves the collection of health datasets that include clinical and demographic variables of patients. Classification algorithms evaluated include Decision Tree, Random Forest, Support Vector Machine (SVM), K - Nearest Neighbors (KNN), and Neural Network. The Dataset was divided into training data and test data, with a proportion of 80:20, and cross-validation was carried out to ensure the reliability of the results. Algorithm performance evaluation was conducted using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. The results showed that Random Forest achieved the highest accuracy of 92.5%, followed by Neural Network with 90.8% accuracy. Decision Tree and KNN showed quite good performance with accuracy of 88.3% and 86.7%, respectively, while SVM had the lowest accuracy of 84.2%. In terms of precision and recall, Random Forest also excelled with values of 91.8% and 92.0%, respectively, showing its good ability to identify positive cases and reduce false positives.

Abstract

  Perkembangan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) membuka peluang untuk menciptakan solusi edukatif yang inovatif dalam dunia pendidikan, salah satunya pada bidang literasi keuangan anak. Penelitian ini merancang dan membangun sebuah sistem Smart Savings (celengan pintar) yang ditujukan bagi anak sekolah, untuk mempermudah dan memotivasi kegiatan menabung. Sistem ini dilengkapi dengan modul RFID untuk mengidentifikasi pengguna, serta sensor warna TCS3200 yang berfungsi mendeteksi nominal uang kertas berdasarkan karakteristik warna.Mikrokontroler ESP32 digunakan sebagai pusat kendali sistem, yang terintegrasi dengan modul WiFi untuk menghubungkan perangkat ke aplikasi Blynk sebagai media monitoring saldo secara real-time. Informasi nama pengguna dan jumlah saldo juga ditampilkan melalui LCD 16x2. Selain itu, sistem dilengkapi dengan motor DC untuk mendukung mekanisme otomatis dalam proses penyimpanan uang fisik. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mengenali pengguna secara akurat dan mendeteksi nominal uang dengan tingkat keberhasilan sekitar 80% dalam lingkungan terkendali. Sistem ini memberikan pendekatan baru dalam mengedukasi anak-anak tentang pentingnya menabung melalui cara yang lebih interaktif, aman, dan modern.

Abstract

Education is a process of cultural inheritance. Moreover, culture and science are also interconnected. However, the fact is that cultural and scientific literacy among students in Indonesia is still low. Therefore, improvements are needed in the learning process. One of the recommended learning approaches is learning with the SSI approach. This research aims to analyze how to instill cultural literacy and scientific literacy within the SSI approach. This research is classified as a literature review. Data is sourced from various literature such as journals, proceedings, theses, and other scientific sources. The collected data is then selected, reviewed, and analyzed, and subsequently synthesized in the discussion. The results of the discussion are summarized to form a conclusion. The research results state that the SSI approach can instill cultural literacy through the process of internalization, so that at every stage of the SSI approach, aspects of cultural literacy can be instilled, starting from the introduction of culture, cultural complexity, and cultural care. In addition, aspects of science literacy are also developed simultaneously, starting from the introduction of science in context, knowledge and processes of science, and the development of scientific attitudes. In applying the SSI approach to science education, teachers should be able to design lessons that integrate cultural and sociocultural aspects into science learning, as well as facilitate learning and assess the success of the education.       Keywords: SSI approach, cultural literacy, scientific literacy.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v25i2.pp972-985
