Abstract

This research is the classroom action research (PTK). It is held toward students of Department of Agribusiness 4 semester sixth of academic year 2014/2015 Faculty of Agriculture North Sumatra Muhammadiyah University, which is amount 40 persons. The research aims to improve the student’s learning result that in the low level and did not achieve the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) of 65 score. This classroom action research uses learning media of video which is used as instrument to motivate the students in the learning process so that the learning result become better and achieve the score of KKM. The instruments are used by researcher is the 20-questions-multiple-choice and 5-question-essay test, observation sheet either for researcher or students, and using media of video. The student’s learning result of the first cycle is the highest score of 78 and the lowest score 56. While the student’s learning result in the second cycle obtaining the highest score of 88 and the lowest score of 68. The average score of first cycle is 68.65 experienced an increase in the second cycle with the average score of 81.15. This shows that learning media of video plays an important role in improving the student’s learning result.

Abstract

Salah satu tantangan sektor pertanian ke depan adalah perkembangan jumlah penduduk yang belum meningkat secara signifikan seiring dengan banyaknya pangan yang diproduksi di sektor pertanian. Begitu pula dengan komoditas pertanian padi yang sudah dibudidayakan secara turun temurun. Pemuda desa mempunyai peran penting dalam keberlangsungan usahatani padi di desa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor lingkungan, sosial dan emosional terhadap minat remaja bertani padi sawah di desa Pasar Lapan kecamatan Air Putih Kabupaten Batu Bara. Sampel penelitiannya adalah pemuda desa yang berjumlah 32 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemuda desa Pasar Lapan mempunyai minat yang relatif tinggi untuk melanjutkan usahatani padi keluarganya yaitu sebesar 69,7%. Faktor lingkungan, sosial dan emosional berhubungan dengan kemampuan generasi muda untuk melanjutkan usaha pertanian padi keluarga.

Abstract

Root rot or stem and fusarium wilt are the diseases that come often to onion plant that may  impair growth and also reduce onion production. The holocaust  of root rot or stem and fusarium wilt is often to take of by chemical pesticides. This way can destroy the earth and circuit for the reduce onion production. To reduce chemical pesticides use,  treat the earth, and increase onion production, the solution is organic pesticides used by trichoderma sp. Trichoderma sp is vegetable pesticides as antagonistic bacteria which have many benefit to increase the quality of onion production for enviromentally friendly by control OPT. PKM team do development training of trichoderma sp by point trichoderma sp usely. The Partner or farmers in Medan Marelan district  i.e Kelompok Tani Karya Maju and Kelompok Tani Karunia. The development of high quality  trichoderma sp and most economic value may spread in product marketing hopefully.
