Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan preferensi konsumen dengan preferensi pedagang terhadap atribut cabai rawit domba (warna, ukuran, tingkat kepedasan, dan kesegaran). Sampel penelitian ini adalah konsumen yang sedang atau sudah membeli cabai rawit domba di Pasar Manis Ciamis sebanyak 96 Orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan systematic random sampling. Sampel pedagang diambil 20 Orang dengan mengunakan simple random sampling. Untuk analisis data menggunakan Uji Kolmogorov Smirnov dan uji Mann Whitney-U. Hasil penelitian ini, menunjukkan bahwa masing-masing atribut cabai rawit domba memiliki nilai D-hitung > D-tabel, artinya terdapat kecenderungan dari konsumen dan pedagang dalam memilih cabai rawit domba di Pasar Manis Ciamis menurut atribut cabai rawit domba. Berdasarkan pengujian Mann Whitney-U terdapat perbedaan preferensi konsumen dengan preferensi pedagang terhadap atribut cabai rawit domba (warna, ukuran, tingkat kepedasan, dan kesegaran).

Abstract

Organic rice production can be a solution for food and environmental security. In this context, farmers who are members of the Paguyuban Bumi Mandiri Farmers Group have been implementing organic rice cultivation since 2021 under the guidance of CV. Agrospora. The method used in this research is a descriptive survey. The descriptive method is a method used to describe or analyze research results but is not used to make broader conclusions. The objects of this research are farmers who are members of the Paguyuban Bumi Mandiri farmer group in Pringkasap Village, Pabuaran District, Subang Regency, West Java. Sampling was carried out using the simple random sampling method. 13 samples from a total population of 22 members of farmer groups. The data collected consists of primary data and secondary data. To determine the efficiency of organic rice farming, it is analyzed using the R/C Ratio and Break Event Point analysis. The R/C Ratio efficiency analysis shows a value of 2.4, which is greater than 1. This means that economically the Organic Rice farming in the Paguyuban Bumi Mandiri farmer group is efficient. The BEP calculation produces a Production BEP of 987.8 kg and a price BEP of Rp. 2,700

Abstract

The machine for processing sap into ant sugar is a new technology that will be a solution to meet increasing market demand, both in terms of quality and quantity. Age background, education level, experience as a processor and number of ownership as internal factors of the processor will influence their response to the machine technology for processing sap into ant sugar. This research aims to determine the relationship between internal factors and the processor's response to machine technology for processing sap into sugar. The research method used a verification survey, samples were taken from 6 people from 12 people processing sap into palm sugar in Nanggerang Village, Nyalindung Village, Cisewu District, Garut Regency. The results of the research show that the internal factors in the categories of age, level of education, business experience, and cumulative number of sugar palm trees owned are in the medium category. The processor's response is partially seen based on the processor's knowledge indicators which are in the medium category, attitudes are in the high category, experience and implementation are in the low category. The result is a Spearman Rank Correlation Coefficient (rs) of 0.43, meaning that the relationship between Internal Factors consisting of age, level of education, business experience, number of palm trees and the processor's response to the machine processing sap into ant sugar is 43%.

Abstract

This study aims to examine sellers’ perceptions of foliage ornamental plants, identify consumer preferences, and compare the two perspectives. The research was conducted along a series of ornamental plant kiosks located on Sersan Bajuri Street, Cihideung Village, Parongpong District, Indonesia. The method used was a verificative survey. The seller population consisted of 362 individuals, from which 36 respondents were selected using simple random sampling, while 96 buyer respondents were selected using systematic random sampling. The findings indicate that sellers generally perceive ideal foliage ornamental plants as having green leaves, medium plant size, high durability, moderate popularity, small plant type, affordable price, a reasonably strategic sales location, and promotional activities primarily through social media. Conversely, buyers tend to prefer foliage ornamental plants with colorful leaves, medium size, high durability, moderate popularity, medium-sized types, affordable prices, strategic sales locations with diverse options, and social media-based promotions. Statistical analysis revealed significant differences between sellers’ perceptions and buyers’ preferences, particularly in terms of leaf color and plant type. However, an overall comparison using the Mann-Whitney U test yielded a Z-score of -1.207, with a critical Z-value of 1.96 and a significance level (2-tailed) of 0.227 (p > 0.05). These results suggest that, overall, there is no statistically significant difference between sellers’ perceptions and buyers’ preferences regarding the characteristics of foliage ornamental plants.
