Abstract

The development of information technology does not only play a role in the economic field, but also in the field of education. Today every teacher and school student at almost all levels of education is required to be technology literate, especially information technology because every job has been in contact with information technology. In addition to supporting educational activities, information technology literacy also supports teachers in solving administrative problems and for students to support the learning system. One of the software that can be used to support education and administrative issues is Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint software has many features that are still not familiar to some users, especially elementary school teachers, especially elementary school students. This is also experienced by the teachers of SD 17 Bengkulu City who are not familiar with the many tools provided in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint software. Some of the obstacles that are often encountered are the less than optimal use of the merge function in Word, the function of conditional formulas in Excel and animation and multimedia in PowerPoint. This is the background for the dedication team to provide training "Improving the Skills in Using Microsoft Office Software for Teachers and Students at SDN 17 Bengkulu City". This activity was held in the classroom of SD N 17 Bengkulu city with lecture methods and direct practice. The participants of this training were teachers and grade 6 students, all of whom were teachers and students of SDN 17 Bengkulu City

Abstract

The use of media in the learning process is very important to facilitate students' understanding of the learning materials. The media will facilitate the interaction of teachers with students so that it is expected to optimize the learning process. The benefits that can be obtained from the use of learning media include: The delivery of learning materials can be uniformed, the learning process can be more interesting, the learning process becomes more interactive, the amount of teaching and learning time can be reduced. The training program for making learning media by teachers of SMPN 18 Bengkulu City aims to: How to improve the ability of SMPN 18 Bengkulu City teachers in developing their own learning media, What efforts need to be made so that the ability to develop learning media for SMPN 18 City teachers Bengkulu. The results or conclusions: There is a suitability of the material with the needs of the teachers of SMP N 18 Bengkulu City, There is a positive response from the participants, Most (85%) participants have understood the importance of learning media in improving the quality of learning, and have skills in making media Power point.

Abstract

Sistem penjualan yang menggunakan sistem manual membuat pihak penjual dan pembeli merasa kesulitan dalam melakukan transaksi, seperti penjual yang harus datang langsung kerumah warga untuk memasarkan hasil olahannya dan pembeli yang mana kadang kesusahan untuk melakukan pembelian produk.Serta pemesanannya yang masih terbatas sehingga penjualannya kurang maksimal dikarenakan jangkauan pemasaran yang masih terbatas. Salah  satu  cara  yang  bisa dilakukan dengan penerapan  teknologi informasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kepada  konsumen  serta alat bantu untuk memasarkan  jasanya.  Sistem aplikasi mobile yang dapat digunakan oleh konsumen untuk memesan  jasa  layanan travel sekaligus  dapat  digunakan  sebagai  media  pemasaran  adalah  jawabannya. Hasil blacboxtesting menunjukkan aplikasi yang dikembangkan dapat berjalan dan sesuai dengan yang diinginkan, sedangkan hasil penelitian berupa kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada para pengguna dari total seluruh responden pengguna sebanyak 20 orang, menunjukan hasil yaitu 85% tingkat keberhasilan.

Abstract

This research aims to develop web-based learning media that can be used at SMK Negeri 3 Bengkulu City motivated by the need to improve the quality of learning in the digital era, where technology can be an effective tool to support the teaching and learning process. This research uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model development method which consists of five stages, namely needs analysis, learning media design, media development, implementation, and evaluation of the effectiveness of the developed media. The results of this web-based learning media development include materials presented interactively, with features such as quizzes, learning videos, and discussion forums that can facilitate communication between teachers and students. In addition, the responses from teachers and students to the use of this learning media are also positive, with most stating that this media can increase students' interest and motivation to learn. Based on the evaluation results, this learning media is expected to be implemented more widely in SMK Negeri 3 Kota Bengkulu and other schools, to support more interactive and efficient teaching in the future.

Abstract

Hotspot is a wireless internet access distribution media that has an authentication system for its users. Because with the hotspot system, internet access users are required to go through a network authentication stage by entering a username and password before being able to connect to the internet. Without systematic management, problems in hotspot services will occur very often. SMK N 4 Bengkulu Selatan has used an internet connection. However, the internet connection used has not been optimized, especially in terms of hotspot user management. This can cause several obstacles when accessing the internet, including the lack of security so that all users can access the internet only by entering the provided wifi password, the absence of user monitoring so that they do not know which hotspot users are active or inactive and the absence of bandwidth limitations for each user which results in unfair bandwidth usage often occurs. This study aims to design a hotspot network using Mikrotik devices with the implementation of the User Manager authentication method at SMK N 4 Bengkulu Selatan. The goal is to improve the security and management of internet access for users in the school environment. This study involves needs analysis, network topology design, and authentication protocol implementation. This method is expected to provide an effective solution in internet access management in educational environments.

Abstract

Currently, the use of computer networks is very necessary, such as for teaching and learning activities and work. SMAl N 7 Bengkulul Selatan already has a network that is used for teaching and learning activities. Currently, the computer network in the computer laboratory of SMAl N 7 Bengkulul Selatan has 24 Computer Units. The computer network in the computer laboratory of SMAl N 7 Bengkulul Selatan does not yet have a system that can perform monitoring, so it is slow to find out the problems that occur on the network. One of the applications that performs network monitoring is lzabbix. Zabbix in performing network monitoring can send notifications to telegram. Zabbix can run on the Linux Ubuntu Server 20.04 operating system. The Linux Ubuntu Server 20.04 operating system is used because it is open source and does not require high hardware specifications. Because the Linux Ubuntu operating system runs network monitoring using Zabbix using small server resources. Zabbix can monitor problems that occur on each client and the time the problem occurs. Zabbix can also send real-time problem information to the network admin's telegram, so that the admin can easily find out the problems that occur on the computers connected to the network. In addition to the problem information sent to Telegram, it is also stored in the server log, so that the admin can see it later on the problems that occur.

Abstract

Village correspondence services are one of the important functions of village government in providing administrative services to the community. However, conventional systems that still rely on manual recording and physical storage often cause various obstacles such as slow processes, difficulties in searching archives, and minimal transparency in public services. This study aims to design and develop a web-based open access repository system to improve correspondence services in Muara Tiga Ilir Village, Kedurang District, South Bengkulu Regency. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the stages of identifying potential problems, data collection, system design, design validation, design revision, product trials, and the final product. The developed system has key features such as admin login for access security, an admin dashboard as a control center, automatic input and creation of outgoing letters, uploading incoming and outgoing letters, searching for letters based on date ranges, and open access for the public to download the required letters. The test results show that the system is able to improve the efficiency of the correspondence process, reduce service time, increase transparency through open access, and facilitate digital archiving. The implementation of this system is expected to be a model for digital transformation of public services at the village level that supports the principles of good governance and smart villages. Black box testing functions as a whole and based on the results of questionnaire data processing, the average value in the pre-test stage of 81.75% (Agree category) increased to 86.70% (Strongly Agree category) in the post-test stage. This shows an increase of 4.95 % , which indicates that the tested system has experienced improvements and increased user satisfaction after implementation
