Abstract

An electronic module with motivational content from the verses of the Quran and Hadith designed through the teaching of Discovery Learning with Linear Impulse and Momentum material is not yet available. This research and development aim to produce e-modules containing verses from the Qur'an and Hadith that are suitable for use in learning. This research aims to describe the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of e-modules containing verses from the Qur'an and Hadith. This study uses the ADDIE development model with the subject of an e-module trial containing verses from the Koran and Hadith, which was tested on ten students of class X MIPA 1 MA Negeri 1 Banjarmasin. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis was carried out through the percentage validity test, the average score of the response questionnaire, the learning outcomes test and the ARCS motivation questionnaire. The results showed that: 1) The validity of the e-module got a score of 84.88%, which was categorized as very high with a reliability of 0.97, 2) The practicality of the e-module got 78.71% which was categorized as practical, 3) The effectiveness of getting an N score-gain of 0.79 with a high category 4) Students' learning motivation gets an N-gain score of 0.52 which is categorized as moderate. It was concluded that the e-module containing the verses of the Qur'an and Hadith was suitable for use in learning

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the feasibility of physics teaching materials containing local wisdom to train students' critical thinking skills. This study aims to describe the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of teaching materials and the achievement of critical thinking skills.  This type of research is called research and development.  The development model used for this is the ADDIE which consists of 5 stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques include validation tests, student response questionnaires, and critical thinking skills assessments.  The results obtained: 1) validity of teaching materials get 4,29 in the very good category, lesson plans with an average of 4,14 in the good category, student worksheets with an average of 4,27 in the very good category, and study result test with an average of 4, 26 categorized as very good;  2) the practicality of teaching materials with an average of 3,93 in the good category;  3) the effectiveness of teaching materials meets the criteria for completeness in the good category;  4) critical thinking skills through a high category learning outcome test.  Therefore, electronic teaching materials containing local wisdom to train critical thinking skills are suitable for use in learning.

Abstract

Integrating local wisdom is important in learning, especially in the students' worksheet, a reference for student learning. The phenomenon of sanja kuning is very memorable for the people of South Kalimantan, with its various mythologies. This will be interesting if discussed through physics learning to support students’ science process skills. This study aims to analyze the effect of students’ worksheets integrated with local wisdom, namely the sanja kuning phenomenon, and the effectiveness of learning and improving students' science process skills. This quasi-experimental study applies students' worksheets integrated with local wisdom, namely the sanja kuning phenomenon. Data were obtained through one group pretest-posttest design with a total sample of 28 people. Data were analyzed using N-gain, and student learning outcomes obtained a gain of 0.38 with medium criteria. The data were also analyzed using a paired t-test, and the results showed that there was an effect on the learning of students' worksheets integrated with local wisdom of the Sanja kuning phenomenon. The results of this study conclude that student worksheets integrated with local wisdom, namely the Sanja kuning phenomenon, affect the teaching of light waves. In addition, the effectiveness is in the medium category. This student's worksheet can be used as an alternative to learning about light waves. The weaknesses of the research show that further development of this students' worksheet is needed to be maximized to improve the students' science process skills.
