Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic on the learning process in elementary schools in Lubuk Raja District, OKU Regency, South Sumatra Province. This type of research is qualitative. In this study, the number of respondents was 10 teachers, 10 students, and 10 guardians. Respondents represent all schools in Lubuk Raja District. Primary data collection is done by giving questionnaires to respondents. The questions in the questionnaire were developed based on related literature. The results of this study are that there are several obstacles and expectations from teachers, guardians of students, and students regarding the learning process in elementary schools in Lubuk Raja District during the Covid-19 epidemic, there are still many who stutter with the on- line learning process,

Abstract

Guru merupakan hal yang paling paling penting dalam dunia pendidikan. Karena itu, guru mutlak perlu mengetahui metode-metode maupun cara yang efektif dalam sebuah proses pembelajaran agar tercapi tujuan hasil pembelajaran yang diinginkan. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian tindakan kelas. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA dengan materi benda tunggal dan campuran melalui metode eksperimen. Metode eksperimen adalah suatu cara mengajar dimana siswa melakukan percobaan secara langsung tentang suatu hal. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SDN Dono Harjo tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 yang berjumlah 26 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa menggunakan metode eksperimen mengalami peningkatan dari siklus 1 ke siklus II. Pada pra siklus hanya mencapai 34,62% (9 siswa) dengan nilai rata-rata hanya 63.07. kemudian pada siklus I persentase mencapai 50.00% (13 Siswa) dengan nilai rata-rata mencapai 69.80 dan pada perbaikan pembelajaran siklus II persentase mencapai 84,61% dan nilai rata-rata 84.03.

Abstract

The style or manner of a school principal in his capacity as a leader largely determines the success of improving the performance of teachers under his leadership. The purpose of this study was to obtain data on (1) the principal's leadership style in improving work discipline, (2) the principal's leadership style in increasing teacher work motivation, (3) the principal's leadership style in increasing responsibility and (4) the constraints- obstacles faced by school principals in improving teacher performance. Through a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. This research shows that (1) the principal applies the situational leadership style in increasing discipline, (2) the principal applies the managerial leadership style in increasing teacher work motivation, (3) the principal applies the managerial leadership style in increasing teacher responsibility, and (4 ) constraints faced by the principal, namely the low teacher in the use of "computer" technology, the selection of learning methods and the different background conditions of subordinates. It is recommended that the principal can apply a better or varied leadership style so that the desired goals can be achieved well and optimally
