Abstract

This research aims to develop an APOS content-basic algebra for autonomous learning to achieve the mathematics connection skills that meet the instrument validity and implementation effectiveness criteria. The module included the basic concept of basic algebra as the learning reference for learners. Thus, learners could refer to the materials autonomously. The module was arranged systematically and complemented with detailed stages. They could facilitate the readers to act and to try the process of analogy. A similar stage also occurred on an object, the new problem, to create a theoretical framework in the form of a scheme. This research used a research and development design. The stages were defining the algebraic problems, designing the APOS-based module, creating a product draft, validating the module, and examining the effectiveness. The researcher conducted the field test with the learner representations from primary school, Junior High School, and Vocational High School. The research variables were learning autonomy and mathematics connection skills. The research used questionnaires and tests to collect the data. The data were then analyzed descriptively analytically. The experts' judgment obtained a score of 4.08, with a valid criterion. Then, the product was tested for the learners’ representations. The results showed their learning autonomy achieved scores of 73 (the primary school learner), 75 (the JHS learners), and 81 (the VHS learners). On the other hand, the mathematics connection skill scores were 75 (the primary school learner), 80 (the JHS learners), and 85 (the VHS learners) It showed that learning with the APOS content module had positive responses and achieved the expected results (effective).

Abstract

This research was conducted to know the relationship between self-efficacy and students' reading literacy skills by using the Problem Based Learning model with the aid of pocketbook media. The type of research used is quasi-experimental or commonly called quasi-experimental. The type of research used is the quantitative method. The population of this study was all participants in class IV SDN Karangayau 02 the academic year 2018/2019 as many as 60 students were divided into 2 classes, namely class IV A and IV B. The sampling in this study used non-probability sampling with a saturated sampling technique. In collecting research data, students were given 2 research instruments, namely test instruments and non-test instruments. The test instrument is in the form of a description of reading literacy skills, while the non-test instrument is a self-efficacy questionnaire consisting of positive statements and negative statements. The data were tested for correlation. The data analysis technique used was correlation analysis with a significance level of 0.05. This research produces a correlation coefficient (r=0.850) with p=0.000 because it is smaller than the error rate (p<0.05), then the hypothesis is accepted. The results of data analysis show that there is a relationship between self-efficacy and reading literacy ability. Recommendations from this study, teachers should design a learning process that can increase students' self-efficacy so that students' reading literacy skills increase.

Abstract

Penguasaan materi matematika hingga saat ini masih menjadi permasalahan siswa sulit memahami pembelajaran. Hal ini membuat kepercayaan diri untuk mengekplorasikan kemampuannya menjadi terhambat sehingga siswa tidak mampu mengikuti pelajaran dengan baik. Pembelajaran matematika pada kurikulum 2013 diharapkan mampu membuat siswa memahami konsep, mengaitkan antarkonsep, mengaplikasikan konsep,akurat, efesien dan tepat dalam pemecahan masalah. Dalam tujuan tersebut mengaitkan antarkonsep merupakan kemampuan koneksi matematis. Tujuan koneksi matematis menurut NCTM ialah memperluas wawasan pengetahuan siswa, memandang matematika sebagai keseluruhan yang satu padu bukan sebagai materi yang berdiri sendiri dan mengenal relevansi dan manfaat matematika baik disekolah maupun diluar sekolah. Upaya meningkatkan koneksi matematis diperlukan kemampuan diri untuk mewujudkannya, hal tersebut sesuai dengan kemampuan self-efficacy. Self-efficacy ialah penilaian seseorang bahwa ia mampu melakukan tindakan mengenai persoalan yang dihadapinya. Terdapat tiga dimensi self-efficacy yaitu magnitude, strength dan generality.Geometri merupakan cabang ilmu pengetahuan yang berkenan dengan pengukuran. Dalam materi geometri ini akan dianalisis kemampuan koneksi siswa ditinjau dengan kemampuan self-efficacy.

Abstract

The style or manner of a school principal in his capacity as a leader largely determines the success of improving the performance of teachers under his leadership. The purpose of this study was to obtain data on (1) the principal's leadership style in improving work discipline, (2) the principal's leadership style in increasing teacher work motivation, (3) the principal's leadership style in increasing responsibility and (4) the constraints- obstacles faced by school principals in improving teacher performance. Through a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. This research shows that (1) the principal applies the situational leadership style in increasing discipline, (2) the principal applies the managerial leadership style in increasing teacher work motivation, (3) the principal applies the managerial leadership style in increasing teacher responsibility, and (4 ) constraints faced by the principal, namely the low teacher in the use of "computer" technology, the selection of learning methods and the different background conditions of subordinates. It is recommended that the principal can apply a better or varied leadership style so that the desired goals can be achieved well and optimally

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan teori APOS pada Pengembangan Modul Bermuatan Karakter Kemandirian Materi Aljabar di SDN Petompon 1 Semarang. Penelitian ini merupakan pengembangan bahan ajar berdasarkan teori APOS. Peran teori APOS adalah untuk memfasilitasi mengkostruksi kerangka kerja dari aksi, proses, objek dan skema.tujuam penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi sejauh mana eksistensi bahan ajar berdasarkan teori APOS serta menguji kevalidan dan kepraktisan modul berdasarkan respon pembaca. Desain penelitian ini adalah R&D dengan tahap Borg & Gall yang dibatasi sampai tahap ke-6 yaitu uji coba lapangan terbatas. Subjek penelitian adalah guru, orang tua, dan siswa SDN Petompon 1 Semarang. Variabel penelitian ini adalah karakter kemandirian siswa kelas V SD. Data kualitas modul diperoleh dari observasi, pedoman wawancara, kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa eksistensi bahan ajar yang ada selama ini memiliki kriteria yang belum berorientasiteori APOS, sebagian tahap aksi, obyek, dan skema belum terpenuhi. Hasil penelitian juga menegaskan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan valid dan praktis, (1) validasi modul sangat tinggi, kriteria sangat baik (2) respon positif guru dan orang tua terhadap modul menunjukkan bahwa modul dapat digunakan sebagai referensi belajar; (3) respon positif siswa terhadap modul disimpulkan dari kenyataan bahwa siswa yang menggunakan modul ini yaitu siswa SD dapat memanfaatkannya sebagai referensi belajar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Part Time Terhadap Minat Belajar Siswa Materi Statistika Dasar Kelas V SD Negeri Madugondo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Pre Eksperimental tipe One Group Pree-Test Post-Test. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan Angket. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri Madugondo. Penentuan Sampel menggunakan teknik Sampling Jenuh. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu 20 orang. Pengujian Hipotesis pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji Stattistik Wilcoxon. Hasil Uji Statistik Wilcoxon pada penelitian ini yaitu nilai Asymp. Sig menunjukkan angka 0,001 atau kurang dari 0,05. Ini artinya hipotesis diterima. Jadi Model pembelajaran Part Time berpengaruh terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri Madugondo.
