Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana podcast digunakan sebagai media alternatif bagi para podcaster dalam menarik pendengar. Teori yang diganakan dalam penelitian ini adalah determinisme teknologi dari McLuhan, dan self-efficacy. Metode yang digunakan adalah Teknik kualitatif deskriptif dengan komunitas podcaster Indonesia sebagai subjek penelitiannya. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah Pengguna memanfaatkan media baru podcast sebagai media komunikasi atau informasi. Pengguna podcast digunakan sebagai media informasi karena cukup sederhana dan sangat mudah cara penggunaannya, dan dapat menjalin komunikasi dan saling berkoneksi satu sama lain untuk saling berbagi informasi mengenai informasi. kemudian juga merupakan suatu inovasi baru sebagai saluran berkomunikasi yang cukup relevan sebanding dengan perkembangan kecanggihan teknologi. Selanjutnya Subjek penelitian menjadikan podcast sebagai wadah untuk menunjang sesorang dalam pembentukan diri dan komunikasi melalui efikasi diri meliputi kemampuan secara kognitif, afektif, selektif, dan motivasional dalam keterampilan komunikasi seorang individu.

Abstract

Belanja online melalui internet memungkinkan konsumen untuk mencari informasi mengenai produk atau layanan dan melakukan pembelian melalui interaksi langsung dengan pengecer secara online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh internet marketing, dan electronic word of mouth (ewom) terhadap perilaku konsumen dalam berbelanja online. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 97 responden yang berbelanja online pada periode Oktober 2015 sampai Februari 2016 dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan SPSS 22 untuk melihat profil responden, ukuran kecenderungan data dan variasi masing-masing variabel indikator penelitian. Peneliti menggunakan SmartPLS 2.0 untuk menguji hubungan pengaruh variable dalam model melalui SEM. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, strategi pemasaran internet berpengaruh langsung terhadap ewom dan perilaku konsumen, sedangkan ewom juga langsung mempengaruhi perilaku konsumen. Ewom sebagai variable intervening antara strategi internet marketing terhadap perilaku konsumen, sehingga secara total memperkuat pengaruhnya. Jalur yang menyatakan hubungan pengaruh terkuat adalah strategi internet marketing dan pengaruh positif langsung terhadap perilaku konsumen. Kata Kunci : Berbelanja online, Perilaku konsumen, Startegi internet marketing, Ewom

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze how interpersonal communication occurs between parents and children in the stage of gadget addiction using the perspective of Jean Piaget's theory. Researchers used the phenomenological paradigm to explore informants' experiences about the interpersonal communication process that occurred. In-depth interviews were conducted with informants to explore communication patterns between parents and their children. The results showed that the forms of communication carried out by parents to children in gadget addiction were divided into 3 groups, namely in a liberating, democratic, and authoritarian manner. The most intense communication process occurs in groups that use democracy. Using Piaget's perspective, the process of children's addiction begins at the Preoperational stage, where children begin to represent the world with symbols, words, language, and images.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the sentiment of the news of the domestically produced IndoVac Vaccine launch. The pros and cons sentiments of Detik.com's coverage were analyzed using Discourse Network Analysis (DNA) and network visualization using Visone software. The study results are based on news related to the IndoVac vaccine from September 3 to November 30, 2022; there are 50 news stories with 193 statements from 33 Actors. Information, Policy, and Education categories were found, with 93% positive and 7% negative statements. The influence of the IndoVac Vaccine makes social media users more careful in digging up information to understand media coverage, especially regarding the IndoVac vaccine.

Abstract

The marosok is a tradition of buying and selling livestock using hand movements and facial expressions in the bargaining process. The marosok tradition has denotative and connotative meanings associated with Minangkabau culture. The purpose of this study was to determine the meaning of denotation and connotation of the marosok tradition with an ethnographic approach using Symbolic Interactionism Theory and semiotic analysis of Pierce. This research method is qualitative by conducting literature study and interviews using snowball sampling technique to M. Azhadi Dt. Bosa as key informant who directs researchers to Desmon Korina and Hadiyati who understand the marosok tradition in the Payakumbuh community. This study shows that the tools, hand movements and expressions in the marosok tradition have meanings that must be understood by the parties involved in the transactions. The sarong is a covering tool that shows marosok tradition is only carried out by men. Finger gestures indicate digits up to millions, increasing, or decreasing bidding. Expressions indicate approval or rejection of the offered price. The marosok tradition ends with handshake and smile between the seller and the buyer. The marosok tradition creates healthy competition where the prices are only known by the parties concerned. However, this process is not transparent, the buyer can only estimate the weight and condition of the livestock by seeing and touching the livestock directly, so the buyer must be very careful in choosing livestock with good quality. The marosok tradition must be maintained so that the media is needed to teach how to do marosok to the younger generation. Apart from being a buying and selling transaction, the marosok tradition can be used as an attraction for tourists to come to Payakumbuh.
