Abstract

The article was to determine the effect of the school literacy movement on the reading skills of the students at State Elementary School 1BrajaYekti. This type of research was ex post facto. The sample of this research was 104 students. The sampling technique used random sampling. Analysis of the data used analysis prerequisite test consisting of normality test and linearity test, as well as the final analysis test consisting of simple regression test, simple correlation test, and coefficient of determination test. The results showed that: There was a positive and significant influence between the school literacy movement on reading interest as indicated by the value of tcount > ttable (6.315>1.980).There was a positive and significant effect between the school literacy movement on reading skills as indicated by the value of tcount > ttable (6.3397>1.980).The magnitude of the influence of the school literacy movement on reading interest was 25.6%.The magnitude of the influence of the school literacy movement on reading skills was 26.1%.' Based on the results of the research conducted, it was known that the school literacy movement could increase in reading literacy atState Elementary School 1BrajaYekti. Abstract

This study aims to develop a Pop Up Book media for increasing motivations early childhood. Therefore, learning media is needed that can facilitate students in learning, one of which is Pop Up Book media. Pop-up book media. Pop-up books are books that have moving parts or have three-dimensional elements and provide a more interesting visualization of the story, starting from the display of images that can move when the page is opened. With the guidance of the teacher, students can write descriptive text by looking at the pictures and vocabulary in the Pop Up Book. The design of this research is research and development or research (R&D).The development model used is ADDIE (analysis, design, development, evaluation, implementation) using the Dick and carry development model. The results of this study indicate that the level of product feasibility by material experts and media experts is included in the valid category and is suitable for use but needs to be revised. From the results of the design expert data, the results of the Pop-Up Book learning media are valid and feasible to be applied learning to increase early childhood’s motivations. Based on the results of the validation that has been carried out by the material expert, it can be seen that validation of the material expert obtained an average score of 96,66% With the criteria “very good”. And based on the validation results that have been carried out by design experts, it can be seen that the value is 96% with criteria “very good”.

Abstract

The problem raise in this study was how efforts to shape religious character and how the description of the sacred character that was embedded in children orphanage at Nurul Jannah Kudus. The research aims to analyze the various efforts made by Nurul Jannah Kudus in shaping the religious character of children orphanage and sacred character that was embedded in children orphanage at Nurul Jannah Kudus. The method used descriptive-analytical. The data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that to shape religious character in children, namely conducting routine religious activities, strict supervision and embedding awareness in children, applying discipline to children, applying the habituation method in carrying out routine activities. In applying the advice method was by caregivers and ustadz or ustadzah. Furthermore, the description of the religious character was not neglect the obligations of a human being to worship Allah SWT, independence, always instilling honesty in every matter, discipline in carrying out rules and activities, a sense of concern for others, responsibility in doing anything, creativity in doing specific fields.
