Abstract

Non communicable disease masih masalah kesehatan yang dikhawatirkan bagi masyarakat Indonesia, khususnya populasi lansia. Jika tidak mendapatkan tatalaksana yang komprehensif serta kolaboratif, penyakit – penyakit tersebut dapat meningkatkan mortalitas dini pada lansia. Dusun Telukan, Danurejo, Magelang merupakan dusun yang memiliki populasi lansia cukup banyak, namun program preventif terhadap non communicable disease yang dilakukan oleh kader Posyandu lansia masih belum optimal. Oleh karena itu, tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat terpadu ini adalah untuk optimalisasi peran para kader Posyandu dalam mengatasi masalah kesehatan yang dimaksud. Metode kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan penyuluhan kesehatan dan pelatihan menanam tanaman obat keluarga. Kegiatan pengabdian ini telah berlangsung mulai dari bulan Agustus 2020 hingga Desember 2020. Kegiatan ini mendapatkan sambutan yang baik dari masyarakat yang dibuktikan dengan keaktifan para warga selama kegiatan dan juga hasil evaluasi, di antaranya warga sudah mengetahui tentang pencegahan non communicable disease dan juga mengetahui jenis tanaman yang dapat mencegah serta mengurangi gejala non communicable disease. Meskipun program pengabdian telah paripurna, rekomendasi telah diberikan kepada para kader supaya konsisten melaksanakan kegiatan posyandu untuk meminimalisir prevalensi non communicable disease pada lansia.

Abstract

The female farmer has multiple roles in their daily lives. Apart from this, they also have to do other housework. Unfortunately, this condition makes them have less attention to their health. Therefore, during the current covid-19 pandemic, the group of females needs to optimize their role particularly involving them in particular activities focusing on the prevention of covid-19 infection. Therefore, this activity aims to improve the ability of female farmer groups in making personal protective equipment. This activity was carried out during June 2021 in Bulu Village, Kapuhan, Sawangan, Magelang Regency. The results of this activity indicate that the female farmers' group can make personal protective equipment. It is hoped that the result of this activity can be widely used in the village. When possible, that product can be sold to increase the economic growth in the village.

Abstract

Stunting is still a serious problem in Magelang Regency, especially in Petung Village, Pakis, Magelang Regency. The recent data showed that 41 children having stunting. However, now there are 13 children. Although the number has decreased, some residents have complained about this. Therefore, the Integrated Community Service Program (PPMT) was initiated to reduce the case of stunting. The programs offered in this activity are the socialization of stunting material, play therapy and assistance in making additional food. This activity took place from December 13, 2021 to January 31, 2022. During this activity, the community was very enthusiastic about participating, they even actively asked questions, discussed with students and lecturers. This group hopes that the PPMT program can be a solution in alleviating stunting cases in Petung Village.

Abstract

Education is a pillar in handling health problems, including stunting. This problem is being complained by residents in Petung Village, Pakis, Magelang Regency. Some data show that 41 children suffer from stunting. However, now there are 13 children. Although the number has decreased, some residents are still worried that the number of cases will continue to increase. Based on these data, the Integrated Community Service Program (PPMT) was implemented to address the stunting phenomenon and its prevention. This program is carried out door-to-door in order to reduce the risk of exposure to Covid-19 virus infection. The community is very responsive when the discussion takes place and asks a lot of questions. This activity is expected to be a support for the government's program to eradicate stunting in Petung Village.

Abstract

The pandemic situation is still a global problem in all countries, including Indonesia. The pandemic has an impact on all aspects of human life, including need for food. If not handled properly, this condition can trigger food shortages due to disturbances to economic stability. Therefore, implementing urban farming is one of the solutions to prevent this problem. This program was carried out in Kalinegoro Village RW III with the PKK team and housing residents. During the program, partners and residents were very enthusiastic in realizing urban farming in the environment, which was proven by the formation of a park that implements urban farming. At the end of this program, it is hoped that urban farming can be a solution to prevent the problem of food shortages during the Covid-19 pandemic.
