Abstract

One of the goals of parenting is the formation of students' Bhayangkara character, a character which is a crystallization of the values ​​contained in Tribrata and Catur Prasetya. These basic values ​​undergo a crystallization process, namely a process of deposition and determination of the final stage of character values ​​until they are finally crystallized into 12 characters, a value that is considered the most appropriate of a number of character values ​​to be developed within the Indonesian National Police organization (Polri). This study aims were to explore the extent to which parenting management in the context of forming the Bhayangkara character in the SPN Polda Maluku is applied. This research were conducted at the SPN Polda Maluku from December 2021 to March 2022, the approach used in this study used a qualitative descriptive approach and the research object consisted of 10 informan. The results of this study indicate that the planning carried out by the SPN Polda Maluku is to prepare a written program, arrange a caregiver device and prepare students in the composition of platoon and company ties. In the implementation aspect, the caregivers describe, explain and apply the internalization program for the 12 character values ​​of Bhayangkara which is integrated with parenting patterns for students during the education period. The evaluation is carried out in several stages, the initial stage is by compiling a mental assessment of students, the second stage is carrying out evaluation meeting activities and at the final stage, documenting, recording and distributing the evaluation results to all caregivers. Internal supporting factors are caregiver performance, care facilities, care evaluation meetings and program planning. Internal inhibiting factors are the ownership of certified caregivers, damaged cabinets, budget support and the lack of health workers. Internal supporting factors are indirect caregiver support, parenting activities in synergy with the National Armed Forces (TNI) and support from the TNI and the Village Government. External inhibiting factors are the different education period for Noncommissioned Officer Candidate School (Secaba) TNI and the policy of shortening the education period from Lemdiklat Polri.

Abstract

Teachers as educators have a very important role in the progress of the Indonesian nation, teachers are also one of the determining factors for the success of education. Educational staff, especially teachers, are the soul of the school, therefore increasing the personalism of education personnel starts from needs analysis, planning, development, performance evaluation, and work relations. The work performance produced by these teachers is the result of the leadership of the principal as the leader of an educational institution who always moves, directs, and motivates teachers to be serious in carrying out their duties in order to achieve the goals that have been set together. This research is based on the problem of how the performance of certified teachers at SMA Negeri 2 Seram Barat is. Operationally, the objectives of this study are (1) to evaluate the performance of certified teachers in the aspect of pedagogic competence. (2) Evaluating the performance of certified teachers in the aspect of professional competence. (3) Evaluating the performance of certified teachers in the aspect of personality competence. (4) Evaluating the performance of certified teachers in the aspect of social competence. The type of research used is evaluation research using a qualitative descriptive approach, namely research that aims to describe the situation comprehensively in the real context. In this case, to collect information about the evaluation of learning programs at SMA Negeri 2 Seram Barat, then use that information as the basis or basis for making policies or decisions about quality school programs. The results of the evaluation of the performance of certified teachers at SMA Negeri 2 Seram Barat, namely teaching and learning activities are the main activities that are always carried out by certified teachers, at SMA Negeri 2 Seram Barat. Schools are given the freedom to choose effective learning and teaching strategies, methods and techniques, according to the characteristics of subjects, students, teachers and the real conditions of the resources available in the school. For learning planning, it starts with mapping basic competencies and indicators, compiling syllabus, compiling lesson plans, compiling annual programs, preparing semester programs, and then the result of the planning is a pattern regarding teaching programs that will be used in the learning process in the classroom. In relation to the 4 competencies that a certified teacher must possess, namely; pedagogic competence, professional competence, personality competence and social competence. Basically, teachers of SMA Negeri 2 Seram Barat have pedagogic, professional, personality and social competencies.

Abstract

The principal's leadership provides work motivation to increase teacher work productivity and student learning outcomes. According to Mulyasa (2009: 98) the principal has at least a role and function as an Educator, Manager, Administrator, Supervisor, Leader, Innovator and Motivator (EMASLIM)." This study aims to describe (1) the leadership of public high school principals in West Seram District, (2) the work spirit of state high school teachers in West Seram District, (3) the learning motivation of public high school students in West Seram District, (4) Knowing the relationship between the principal's leadership with the work spirit of State Senior High School teachers in West Seram District, (5) the relationship of teacher work spirit with the learning motivation of State Senior High School students in West Seram District, (6) the magnitude of the relationship of principal leadership and teacher work spirit together with motivation studying state high school students in West Seram District. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method with the type of correlational research which aims to determine the relationship between principals' leadership, teacher's work spirit on learning motivation of state high school students in West Seram District, West Seram Regency. With a population of 75 teachers. The instrument is Linkert.data in this study were analyzed using SPSS for windows student version 18.00. The results of the descriptive study showed that the principal's leadership had a positive relationship to learning motivation with a correlation of r = 0.743 categorized as good. This means that the principal has shown good leadership as a principal. Teacher work enthusiasm has a positive relationship to learning motivation with a correlation value of r = 0.515, which is categorized as high teacher work morale if learning motivation is also high. From the results of the study, the average leadership of the principal and the work spirit of the teacher together has a positive relationship to students' learning motivation with a correlation value of r = 0.802.
