Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: The development of moral values ​​and character in children is one area that needs attention. This study discusses how society, families, and schools can help children in primary schools develop moral character and moral values. Background Problems: Without parents' knowledge, moral ideals are taught to children, and character development does not occur naturally. It is essential for the community, schools, and parents to pay attention to how children in primary schools develop their character. A harmonious and dynamic environment must be built for children to create strong characters and good spirits in their families, schools and communities. Novelty: This research is a research, and the difference between previous research and the research conducted is that the earlier research did not integrate the three variables in one research title. Research Methods: This research uses a literature study as its research approach. Finding/Results: Children's moral development and character are strongly influenced by their families, schools and communities. However, family or parents are the most important factors because they are the first schools that prepare children for life in the real world. Conclusion: The role of parents, educators, and society is essential. The three of them, in instilling character, must work together. Strengthening character education today must continue to be improved. The three educational centres, namely parents, educators and the community, are good sources for academic development.

Abstract

The results of this study will be used in the Education Office of Muaro Jambi Regency. The importance of understanding the main duties and functions of regulatory changes because they are things that must even be carried out by a member of an organization or employee in an agency on a regular basis in accordance with their abilities to complete work programs that have been made based on the goals, vision, and mission of an organization. This study describes the group counseling solution focused brief counseling (sfbc) to improve understanding of the main duties and functions of changes in staffing regulations in local government institutions. This research is experimental research with The One Group Pretest-Posttest design. Analysis of the data in this study used the Wilcoxon test and there was an increase between the pretest and posttest. The results of this study indicate that the condition of the experimental group before being given treatment (Pretest) is in the medium category with a value of 102.4 then after being given treatment it increases with a value of 141.4 being in the high category. The Wilcoxon test results show that the use of the SFBT approach can improve understanding of the main tasks and functions of changing government regulations with a significance value of 0.002.

Abstract

Suatu kondisi ikan patin siam (Pangasius hypophthalmus) yang terkadang mati mengapung dan ada juga dengan mengambang terlebih dahulu tanpa sebab dengan jumlah yang banyak, kematian ikan berimplikasi terhadap masukan pembudidaya merupakan titik tolak dilakukannya pengabdian ini, tujuan pengabdian yaitu meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan membudidaya patin siam (Pangasius hypophthalmus) spektrum p2 pokdakan iwan patin dan pokdakan reka patin muaro jambi, Dua metode yang diterapkan yaitu metode dengan pendekatan participatory Action Research (PAR) dan Bimbingan Teknis (BIMTEK) dengan pendekatan Services Learning (SL). Berdasarkan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dan evaluasi dengan mitra dapat disimpulkan bahwa. Pertama Melalui pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) kelompok Pokdakan Iwan Patin dan Pokdakan Reka Patin memiliki pengetahuan yang mumpuni tentang budidaya bibit ikan patin siam spektrum p2. Ke-dua Melalui bimbingan teknis dengan pendekatan service learning (SL) Kelompok Pokdakan Iwan Patin dan Pokdakan Reka Patin memiliki keterampilan yang dibutuhkan dalam membudidaya bibit ikan patin siam spektrum p2. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertolak dari kesenjangan yang ditemui dilapangan yaitu siswa merasa takut berkomunikasi dengan orang lain baik sesama teman, guru, ataupun orang tua, siswa gemetar saat ditanya, lebih memilih melihat kebawah ataupun melihat kearah lain dari pada melihat lawan kontak saat berkomunikasi, dan siswa cenderung susah bergaul sesama teman sebaya sehingga siswa lebih memilih untuk sendiri. Tujuan dalam penelitan ini yaitu bagaimana tingkat komunikasi orang tua, tingkat motivasi belajar siswa dan pengaruh komunikasi orang tua terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Komunikasi orang tua yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini, komunikasi verbal terdiri dari penamaan, interaksi, dan transmisi informasi dan komunikasi Nonverbal terdiri dari repitisi, subtisusi, koplemen, dan aksentuasi. Motivasi belajar yang dimaksudkan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu motivasi dari dalam (intrinsik) meliputi dari dalam diri siswa itu sendiri, dan dari luar (ekstrinsik) meliputi, adanya penghargaan, adanya lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, adanya lingkungan yang menarik dalam belajar, dan adanya dukungan dari lingkungan keluarga. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode expost-facto, jumlah populasi 180 dengan sampel 122 responden, teknik pengumpulan data mengunakan angket dengan analisis data persentase dan regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini tingkat komunikasi orang tua dengan siswa yaitu berada pada tingkat tinggi dengan persentase menunjukkan sebesar 66,10%,  tingkat motivasi belajar siswa berada pada tingkat tinggi dengan persentase sebesar 76,77%, terdapat pegaruh secara signifikan komunikasi orang tua terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dengan nilai sig.f 0,041 ≤ 0,05, koefisien determinan (r squer) sebesar 0,49 berdasarkan kriteria penafsiran bahwa 0,49 pada rentang (0,17-0,49) yang berada pada tafsiran cukup kuat. Rekomendasi yang diberikan temuan penelitian dapat memberikan manfaat dan masukan bagi siswa, dan menjadi pertimbangan pengembangan program layanan BK di sekolah.

Abstract

Abstract – Based on a preliminary study which was the starting point for carrying out this community service program, it was found that many bk teachers still complain about the administration of bk in schools, this is due to teachers' difficulties in managing time which often clashes with school activities, lack of knowledge, and limited availability. other supporting resources. As a result, administration is only for official administrative purposes, the aim of this service is firstly to increase the understanding of school guidance teachers regarding the administration of guidance and counseling in schools including 1. Administration of evaluation and analysis of guidance and counseling, 2. Administration of home visits, 3. Administration of student permits, 4. Hand-over administration cases, 5. Administration of case conferences, 6. Administration of laiseg and laijapen, 7. Administration of lapelprog, 8. Administration of group counseling reports, and 9. Administration of individual counseling reports. Second, improve the skills of school counselors in operating school administration according to their needs and purposes. The method used was a workshop with lecture techniques, question and answer, discussion and practice. The results of the PPM activities showed that. Firstly, the implementation of this PPM activity can help improve the understanding and skills of guidance and counseling teachers related to BK administration in supporting BK services in schools. Abstract

Abstract— Introduction/Main Objectives: This research examines the synchronization of School Enrollment Rate (APS) data in Muaro Jambi Regency, addressing inconsistencies between Dapodik, EMIS, and population data.. Novelty: The study offers a novel approach by integrating these data sources to enhance synchronization. Research Methods: Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research identifies obstacles and proposes solutions for improving regional education information systems. Finding/Results: Findings reveal integration efforts through direct data management collaboration, periodic verification, and categorization of verification types. However, challenges such as inadequate internet infrastructure, computer performance issues, incomplete data attributes, and inefficient updating processes persist. Proposed solutions include an integrated data collection system for student transfers and standardized SOPs for data collection. Despite these efforts, APS data synchronization remains suboptimal, requiring further improvements to enhance accuracy and integration effectiveness. Enhanced data quality is crucial for developing and implementing targeted education policies in Muaro Jambi Regency. Conclusion: This study underscores the importance of overcoming technological and procedural barriers to achieve a more reliable and efficient APS data system, supporting better policy planning and execution in the region.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse student satisfaction with the content and teaching methods of the Agroindustrial and Environmental-Based Entrepreneurship course, which is crucial in shaping students' entrepreneurial mindset and skills in the context of sustainable development. The increasing demand for environmentally conscious entrepreneurs in the agroindustry sector highlights the significance of this course. The research uses a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey design involving 46 respondents. The results show that, in general, students are satisfied with the content, with an average score of 3.68, falling into the high category (3.41 - 4.20). Specific areas of satisfaction include content relevance to needs (3.85), content supporting entrepreneurial interest (3.78), content ease of understanding (3.62), and content applicability and contextuality (3.48). Satisfaction with teaching methods also indicates a high level (mean = 3.69), with interactive teaching (3.87), interesting case studies (3.73), discussions aiding understanding (3.65), and practical applications (3.50). External factors also show relatively high satisfaction (mean = 3.64), including classroom facilities (3.82), teaching aids quality (3.71), learning environment comfort (3.60), and availability of learning resources (3.41). The findings reveal that students from the Counselling and Guidance Study Program at the University of Jambi have high satisfaction with the course content and teaching methods. Despite high satisfaction, there are areas for improvement, such as enhancing the applicability of content and increasing the intensity of practical experience. External factors, such as classroom comfort and learning resources, should also be improved. To enhance learning quality, integrating more practical experiences and complex case studies, alongside digital technology and more applicable teaching materials, will enrich the learning experience. Further research in other programs and with a deeper approach will provide more comprehensive insights.
