<![CDATA[Abstract: Study on Ground Movement Based on Peak Ground Velocity Pattern due to Earthquakes (Case Study of Sulawesi Island Earthquake in 2011-2014). Research has been carried out on ground movement patterns based on the peak ground velocity (peak ground velocity) by earth quakes (earth quakes case studies of the Celebes sea in 2011-2014. The aim of this study is to describe the spread of the land movement velocity distribution of land through a pattern of maximum ground velocity (peak ground velocity) at the Celebes sea and interpret the relationships between maximum ground velocity of movement (peak ground velocity) with intensity due to the earthquake. Seismic data used from Year 2011-2014 with magnitude 4.0 SR, further analyzed by using the circle of Wadati formula. From the analysis results show that the land movement velocity at the Celebes Sea in Year 2011-2014 is 14.67 km/s, and directly propotional relationship between the land movement velocity distribution eith the intensity, the greater value of maximum land velocity so that the earthquake intensity. The measurement results show that in the area of Celebes which has a maximum land velocity of movement wich located in North Celebes region that occurred on August 13 of 2011.Keywords: circle method, intensity scale, P wave velocityAbstrak: Studi tentang Pergerakan Tanah Berdasarkan Pola Kecepatan Tanah Maksimum (Peak Ground Velocity) Akibat Gempa Bumi (Studi Kasus Kejadian Gempa Pulau Sulawesi Tahun 2011-2014). Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang pergerakan tanah berdasarkan pola kecepatan tanah maksimum (peak ground velocity) akibat gempa bumi (studi kasus kejadian gempa pulau sulawesi tahun 2011-2014. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan distribusi penyebaran pergerakan kecepatan tanah melalui pola kecepatan tanah maksimum (peak ground velocity) di Pulau Sulawesi dan menginterpretasi hubungan antara pergerakan kecepatan tanah maksimum (peak ground velocity) dengan intensitas akibat terjadinyagempa bumi. Data gempa yang diperoleh tahun 2011-2014 dengan mangitudo 4,0 ³ SR, selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode lingkaran oleh Wadati. Hasil analisis gempa bumi menunjukkan kecepatan pergerakan tanah di pulau Sulawesi Tahun 2011-2014 sebesar 14,67 km/s, dan terdapat hubungan yang berbanding lurus antara pergerakan kecepatan tanah maksimum (peak ground velocity) dengan intensitasnya, semakin besar nilai kecepatan tanah maksimum maka intensitas gempa semakin besar pula. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa di daerah Sulawesi yang memiliki kecepatan pergerakan tanah maksimum terletak di daerah Sulawesi Utara yang terjadi pada tanggal 13 Agustus Tahun 2011.Kata Kunci: gelombang P, metode lingkaran, skala intensitas ]]>
