<![CDATA[AbstrakPT Aimfood Manufacturing Indonesia adalah perusahaan layanan produsen private label/merek pribadi untuk produk fungsional Makanan & Minuman, Herbal dan Suplemen Makanan. Perusahaan ini berdiri sejak 08 Agustus 2008 dan telah berkembang sebagai salah satu industri layanan produsen private label di Indonesia. Namun, perusahaan ini perlu untuk mengurangi jumlah cacat yang sering muncul dalam proses produksi, sehingga memtuskan untuk menggunakan metode Six Sigma untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Six Sigma merupakan konsep statistik yang mengukur suatu proses yang berkaitan dengan cacat atau kerusakan. Mencapai enam sigma berarti bahwa suatu proses menghasilkan hanya 3,4 cacat per sejuta peluang, dengan kata lain bahwa proses itu berjalan hampir sempurna. Perusahaan berada pada posisi dimana jenis cacat yang ada mencapai 4 sigma. Maka dari itu, digunakan metode DMAIC untuk menaikkannya menjadi 5 sigma. However, companies need to reduce the number of defects that often appear in the production process, so they decide to use the Six Sigma method to overcome these problems. Six Sigma is a statistical concept that measures a process related to defects or defects. Achieving six sigma means that a process produces only 3.4 defects per million opportunities, in other words that the process runs almost perfectly.
