Abstract

Makanan pendamping ASI (MP-ASI) adalah makanan atau minuman yang mengandung zat gizi, diberikan kepada bayi atau anak usia 6-24 bulan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan gizi selain dari ASI. Cakupan pemberian MP-ASI di Indonesia sebesar 30,38%, Aceh sebesar 34,57% tahun 2020, sedangkan di Puskesmas Pasi Mali sebesar 69%. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan pemberian MP-ASI di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Pasi Mali Kecamatan Woyla Barat Kabupaten Aceh Barat Tahun 2021. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 134 ibu yang mempunyai bayi umur >6-12 bulan. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive samplingdengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 100 responden. Penelitian ini dilakukan di bulan oktober 2021. Analisa data menggunakan uji Chi Square program SPSS versi 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa presentase ibu yang memberikan MP-ASI sebesar 66%. Berdasarkan hasil statistik bivariat menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang bermakna terhadap pemberian MP-ASI yaitu sikap (0,004), pekerjaan (0,004), fasilitas kesehatan (0,003), dan pengaruh lingkungan (0,004) di Puskesmas Pasi Mali Kecamatan woyla Barat Tahun 2021. Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang bermakna antara variabel (sikap, pekerjaan, fasilitas kesehatan dan pengaruh lingkungan) dengan pemberian MP-ASI di Puskesmas Pasi Mali. Adanya faktor lain yang tidak berhubungan dengan pemberian MP-ASI yaitu usia, pengetahuan, pendidikan, jarak kelahiran, pendapatan orangtua, tenaga kesehatan, dukungan keluarga, budaya makan dan pola makan. Diharapkan kepada petugas Puskesmas Pasi Mali untuk dapat memberikan penyuluhan dan pembinaan tentang pentingnya memberikan MP-ASI pada bayi sesuai dengan usianya.

Abstract

Stunting or short is a condition where children experience failure to grow and develop so that children have a shorter height than the standard age. The prevalence of stunting at the Indrajaya Public Health Center was 240 cases. The purpose of this study was to find out what factors were associated with the incidence of stunting in children aged 0-24 months in the Indrajaya Public Health Center, Pidie Regency in 2022. This type of research was observational analytic with a case control approach. The population is all mothers of infants aged 0-24 months as many as 70 mothers of infants in the Caleue settlement. Sampling in this study was conducted in the Caleue settlement, which consisted of 26 mothers of infants who experienced stunting as cases and as many as 26 mothers of infants who did not experience stunting as controls (control). Data collection from February 27 to March 04 using a questionnaire through interviews. Data analysis using Chi-Square test SPSS program. The results of the study there was a relationship between energy and protein intake p = 0.003, there was a relationship between Low Birth Weight p = 0.005, there was a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding p = 0.012, there was a relationship between Early Breastfeeding Initiation p = 0.023, there was a relationship between history of infectious diseases p = 0.023 = 0.011, there is a relationship between family income p = 0.048 and there is a relationship between mother's knowledge p = 0.025 with stunting. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that the seven variables have a stunting relationship in the Indrajaya Public Health Center Work Area, Pidie Regency in 2022. It is expected that health workers can provide counseling regarding stunting prevention in children under two, such as providing adequate energy and protein intake.

Abstract

One of the health problems that need to be watched out for in Indonesia is stunting in children under five. Stunting is a toddler whose height for ages is under -2 Standard Deviation from the WHO median standard (TB/U -2 SD) (WHO, 2012). Jackfruit seeds can be used in food development to increase the nutritional content of food products which can be used to address nutritional problems, one of which is stunting. Making biscuits with the addition of jackfruit seeds is expected to have a high nutritional content so that they can be an alternative nutritional snack for stunting toddlers (WHO, 2012). The purpose of the service is to overcome the nutritional problems of stunting cases in toddlers in the PODIHAGU area and introduce local food ingredients with many health benefits. The implementation method is carried out face-to-face (offline) with the lecture method at the house of a resident in Podihagu Hamlet. Conclusion to increase public knowledge about the benefits of jackfruit seeds for toddler health. The importance of increasing public knowledge of the importance of the problem of malnutrition in toddlers or cases of stunting health. The importance of public knowledge about the benefits of leaves and flour from jackfruit seeds for various health treatments.Keywords: Stunting; jackfruit seeds; Jackfruit Seed Flour
