Abstract

ABSTRACTEmployee ignorance on Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) is one of the main causes of workplace accidents. This study was conducted to analyze the correlation between path goal leadership implemented by Gresik steel factory supervisors and employee obedience on company SOP. This study applied quantitative approach and cross-sectional research design. The data were collected through observation and interview on 52 respondents consisting of employees working led by 4 different supervisors. Systematic random sampling is used for sampling method. In-depth interviews were conducted to gain more information regarding the variables analyzed in this study. The independent variables analyzed in this study were path goal leadership style implemented by the supervisors and the dependent one is SOP obedience. This study found that employee obedience level on company SOP of each working units is 86% for drilling unit; 78.57% for marking and cutting unit; 100% for assembly unit; and 41.67% on painting unit. The results of Spearman correlation test indicated that path goal leadership style implemented by the supervisors significantly correlated with obedience level of the employees on company SOP with p < 0.05. there were positive correlation among the variables with correlation coefficient 0.416 (p = 0.001). Based on these findings, it could be concluded that the better path goal leadership style implementation made by the supervisors the higher employee obedience level on company SOP.Keywords: leadership style, Path Goal Theory, SOP obedience, occupational safety

Abstract

This paper examines the spillover effect of the fed fund rate (FFR) on emerging banking liquidity and capital in emerging markets, especially in Indonesia, using the Structural Equation Model (SEM). Data were collected from the Indonesia Central Bank and Financial Services Authority. Our model reveals a significant indirect negative relationship between FFR, banking liquidity, and capital. This relationship was examined both directly and indirectly using the model. While the FFR influence was robust, the impact on liquidity and capital was translated through the local bank rates. It is found that rising interest rates would still result in tighter liquidity to some extent. FFR also impacts capital decisions because the rising interest rate might incentivize managers to borrow from a lower market environment. Thus, observing the indirect relationship, the impact of the FFR depends on the local central bank monetary policy transmission to mitigate the spillover effect resulting from developed economy monetary policy.

Abstract

Development in the current era of globalization relies on the economic sector. Good economic achievements can be realized by maximizing income for MSMEs. Increasing income in MSMEs can be done by preparing a marketing strategy to maximize the scope of consumers in the MSMEs themselves. Seeing the number of MSMEs in the city of Surabaya, PT. Bank BTPN Syariah provides co-facilitators for its customers in realizing the desired goals. The companion role here helps customers to maximize sales. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the role of the counterpart in the marketing strategy for BTPN Syariah customers. The research method used is qualitative which will produce descriptive writing results. Data collection techniques used are interviews and observations in the field. The results of this study are that MSME actors can understand the importance of preparing a marketing strategy so that they can increase income and be able to compete.

Abstract

This research aims to test and analyze the influence of knowledge of financial statements and entrepreneurial orientation on the performance of MSMEs in Banyuwangi Regency. The data used in this study are primary data with a sample size of 150 collected by distributing questionnaires to MSME actors. The data obtained were then processed using SmartPLS4 software. The research results show that knowledge of financial statements and entrepreneurial orientation significantly influence the performance of MSMEs in Banyuwangi Regency. Entrepreneurial orientation has the most dominant influence on the improvement of MSME performance in Banyuwangi Regency. Knowledge of financial statements and entrepreneurial orientation play an important role in improving the performance of MSMEs. This is because a deep understanding of financial statements helps business owners in Banyuwangi Regency identify financial problems and growth opportunities. Likewise, the right understanding and attitude help SMEs face challenges, make better decisions, identify opportunities, and ultimately achieve better and sustainable growth.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisi pengaruh knowledge  of  financial  statements dan entrepreneurial orientation terhadap kinerja UMKM di Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu data primer dengan ukuran sampel 150 yang dikumpulkan dengan cara menyebar kuesioner kepada pelaku UMKM. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah menggunakan software  SmartPLS4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa knowledge  of  financial  statements dan entrepreneurial orientation berpengaruh secara signifikan  terhadap kinerja UMKM di Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Entrepreneurial orientation memiliki pengaruh paling dominan terhadap peningkatan kinerja UMKM di Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Pengetahuan tentang laporan keuangan maupun orientasi kewirausahaan memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja usaha UMKM. Hal ini dikarenakan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang laporan keuangan membantu pemilik usaha di Kabupaten Banyuwangi mengidentifikasi masalah finansial dan peluang pertumbuhan. Begitupun pemahaman dan sikap yang tepat membantu UMKM menghadapi tantangan, mengambil keputusan yang lebih baik, mengidentifikasi peluang, dan akhirnya mencapai pertumbuhan yang lebih baik dan berkelanjutan.
