Abstract

The purpose of this research is to evaluate and analyze the understanding of the  curriculum 2013 and integration on the performance of Catholic elementary school teachers in Manado City. The total of samples are 76 respondents in 11 Catholic Primary Schools. This research is in June to July 2019. The method of the research is quantitative approach by survey methods. The results showed that (1) There is a positive influence of the understanding of the  curriculum 2013 on the performance of Catholic elementary school teachers in Manado City. The effect of understanding of the  curriculum 2013 on teacher performance was relatively low that is 39.1% with a significance level of 0.000 ≤ from α = 0.05. While the results of the hypothesis test knowledge variable with the t test shows the fact that t-count = 6.889 ≥ (t-tab) = 1.992. (2) There is effect of  teacher’s integration on the performance of Catholic elementary school teachers with the results of the determination of percentage, 8.2% and a significance level of 0.012 ≤ from α = 0.05; (3) There is a effect of curriculum 2013 and integration simultaneously on the performance of Catholic elementary school teachers, 37.5% with a significance level of 0,000 ≤ from α = 0.05.

Abstract

Freedom of religion is a principle that supports individual or societal freedom to practice religion or belief in private or public space. Therefore, it is often said that religious rights and freedoms are non-derogable human rights, namely human rights which cannot be reduced under any circumstances. The problem studied in this paper is how human rights prioritize humans as subjects and describe that humans are creatures that are valued without distinction based on race, skin color, sex, gender, ethnicity, language, or any religion. Habermas, in his study of public space and religion, for example, initiated a secular society which is a transformation of views that were originally very Hegelian. With that, in the end for him, the role of religion is very much needed as a potential source for creating solidarity. The results of this paper show that when we prioritize individuals in human rights, it does not mean prioritizing the egoistic, but also including the fact that humans who have human rights are obliged to several social demands. Individual freedom always ends with respect for other individual freedoms. Humans are free if their possibilities to act, including acting in religious life, are not limited by other people. Because freedom is intrinsically lived in relationships with other people. A large country is a country inhabited by every subject who knows and is aware of freedom and responsibility in all things. A free country is a country that of course has a big responsibility to advance its country

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explain influence smartphone on learning motivation of students in elementary school, Mapanget Subdistrict, Manado City. This research is in four elementary schools:  SD Inpres 03 Paniki Bawah, SD Katolik Santo Yohanes Mapanget Barat,  SD Katolik 02 Santo Don Bosco Paniki Bawah; and SD Katolik 10  Santo Fransiskus Buha. Samples those used are 84 students. This research is  a quantitative approach. It used the survey’s method. It have stages: observation of the location of the research, preparation of questionnaires, distribution of questionnaires, validity testing, data collection, processing of research results, analysis of the results of research, and discussion. The result showed that the effect of smartphone on the learning motivation of students in elementary school Mapanget Subdistrict was 0.057 or 5.7% with a significance  0.028 < 0,05. The results of testing t-table is greater than t count, namely t-hitung = 2.232 ≥ (t-tab) = 1.989. This means that smartphone have an effect on students’ learning motivation even though it is in the low category 5.7%. Suggestion as recommendation: students do not use excessive smartphones both at school and at home. Parents and teachers always supervise children especially using of smartphone everday  because the effect  of smartphone on students’ learning motivation is very low.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis gagasan pokok tentang ekaristi dalam Konstitusi Sacrosanctum Concilium. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif-kualitatif. Ekaristi merupakan puncak dan sumber kehidupan Kristiani. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat beberapa ajaran pokok tentang ekaristi yang termuat dalam Konstitusi Sacrosanctum Concilium yakni ekaristi dan mister paskah, keikutsertaan aktif kaum beriman, peninjauan kembali tata perayaan ekaristi, Kitab Suci dan homili, doa umat, bahasa Latin dan pribumi, komuni suci, kesatuan misa, dan konselebrasi. Kesimpulan yang dapat diberikan adalah umat beriman wajib mengikuti perayaan ekaristi yangmenjadi sumber dan puncak kehidupan manusia.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika materi bangun ruang melalui penerapan model pembelajaran tipe NHT siswa kelas V di SD Katolik 07 Xaverius Manado. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan model Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V di SD Katolik 07 Xaverius Manado dengan jumlah 34 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika materi bangun ruang mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus I nilai rata-rata yaitu 55. Jumlah siswa yang mencapai KKM adalah sebanyak 15 dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 44%. Pada siklus II, nilai rata-rata yaitu 79. Jumlah siswa yang mencapai KKM adalah sebanyak 31 dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 91% dan hasil aktivitas siswa mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus I, aktivitas siswa mencapai 34 dengan persentase 68%. Aktivitas guru mencapai 78 dengan persentase 74%. Pada siklus II, aktivitas siswa mencapai 46 dengan persentase 92%. Aktivitas guru mencapai 105 dengan persentase 100%. Karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran NHT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika materi bangun ruang siswa kelas V di SD Katolik 07 Xaverius Manado.
