Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain the results of the analysis and description of the effect of School Operational Assistance funds on the learning motivation of elementary school students in the East Kotamobagu District, Kotamobagu City, and the magnitude of the effect of the School Operational Assistance fund on the learning motivation of elementary school students in East Kotamobagu District, Kotamobagu City. Kotamobagu.This study uses a quantitative research approach, which uses data that can be calculated to produce a strong quantitative interpretation. So quantitative data is the value of changes that can be expressed in the form of numbers (statistics). The existence of financing through the School Operational Assistance Fund program has had a significant influence on the Learning Motivation of Elementary School Students in East Kotamobagu. The financing of the School Operational Assistance Fund is only required for non-personnel financing. Learning Motivation of Elementary School Students in East Kotamobagu is still influenced by other factors that were not studied but have a significant influence, which is 46.3%

Abstract

This study aims to improve social studies learning outcomes through the use of the Inquiry Method for Grade IV Students of SD Inpres Lansot. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), using the spiral model from Kemmis and Mc Taggart with four stages: (1) Planning, (2) Action, (3) Observation, and (4) Reflection. The subjects of this study were fourth-grade students at SD Inpres Lansot. The data collection technique used in this research is the observation technique (observation and test). While the data obtained were analyzed by calculating the percentage and average student learning outcomes. The results showed that the achievement of learning outcomes in the first cycle was 70%, in the second cycle it increased to 84%. Thus the use of the inquiry method can improve social studies learning outcomes fourth-graduate students of SD Inpres Lansot

Abstract

Implementasi Pembelajaran Berbasis HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) Di SD GMIM IV Tomohon Juniver M. Pesak , Marthinus M. Krowin, Margareta O. Sumilat Program Studi S1 Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan dan Psikologi Universitas Negeri Manado, E-mail: juniverpesak374@gmail.com martinuskrowin@unima.ac.id, margaretasumilat@unima.ac.id ABSTRAK Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini yakni untuk mengetahui tentang implementasi pembelajaran berbasis HOTS di SD GMIM IV Tomohon. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian kualitatif, dengan metode wawancara, observasi, serta dokumentasi. Adapun sumber data dalam penelitian ini yakni sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder, yakni sumber data primernya berasal dari kepala sekolah, dua guru kelas IV A dan B, serta beberapa siswa sedangkan sumber data sekundernya berasal dari observasi, wawancara, Setelah melewati berbagai prosedur penelitian yakni analisis data yang melalui tiga tahap yaitu mengoleksi data, reduksi data, kemudian konklusi, kemudian dilakukan pengujian terhadap keabsahan data dengan menggunakan triangulasi, maka didapati hasil penelitian sebagai berikut : 1) Implementasi pembelajaran Higher Order Thinking Skil yaitu: a) menelaah informasi secara kritis, melalui apersepsi dalam rupa gambar, vidio, kegiatan literasi dan contoh kasus kemudian ditanggapi atau dikritik baik berupa isi maupun bentuknya b) menciptakan daya kreatif siswa, melalui observasi atau penelitian untuk menemukan jawabannya sendiri, membuat laporan tentang praktikum, atau membuat karangan dan c) meningkatkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah melalui diskusi, debat dan membuat soal-soal yang bermuatan HOTS 2), Hambatan dalam penerapan pembelajaran Higher Order Thinking Skill yaitu: a) HOTS belum familiar bagi siswa dan guru, b) waktu yang terbatas dan c) kurangnya fasilitas dalam pembelajaran berbasis HOTS, d) kurangnya sosialisasi. Kata Kunci : Pembelajaran berbasis HOTS

Abstract

This study aims to improve pupils’ learning outcomes in the subject of Integrated Natural Sciences (IPAS) through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in Year 4 at SD Negeri III Tondano. The research subjects consisted of 14 Year 4 pupils. The method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted over two cycles, with each cycle comprising the planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. Data collection was carried out using observation techniques to observe learning activities and tests to measure students’ learning outcomes. The data obtained were analysed using a quantitative descriptive approach to determine the improvement in learning outcomes based on the scores achieved by the students. The results of the study showed a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes. In Cycle I, the average student learning outcome reached 71.43% with a learning achievement rate of 57.14%, indicating that some students had not yet met the minimum achievement criteria. Following improvements to teaching in Cycle II through the optimisation of the PBL model, the average student learning outcome increased to 91.07% with a higher level of achievement. These findings indicate that the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model is effective in improving student learning outcomes in the IPAS subject in Year 4 at SD Negeri III Tondano.
