Abstract

ABSTRAKEkosistem mangrove merupakan ekosistem unik yang hanya berada di wilayah tropis dan subtropis. Sebagian besar ekosistem ini terdapat di Segara Anakan, Cilacap. Sebagian besar masyarakat kampung laut di Segara Anakan telah memanfatkan ekosistem tersebut. Akan tetapi, pada kawasan ini terdapat beberapa permasalahan yaitu terjadinya degradasi lingkungan akibat sedimentasi maupun faktor antropogenik dan masih rendahnya kesadaran penduduk setempat tentang nilai pentingnya mangrove serta lemahnya pengawasan dari pihak yang berwenang. Pada tanggal 10 September 2022 telah dilaksanakan program pengabdian masyarakat dengan Kelompok Tani Patra Krida Wana Lestari. Tujuan program ini meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat untuk terlibat dalam kelestarian hutan mangrove, pemeliharaan dan perawatan areal penanaman mangrove secara berkelanjutan dan mandiri; serta tujuan jangka panjang terbentuknya labortorium alam sebagai penunjang ilmu pengetahuan dan tempat wisata. Metode PKM yang digunakan berupa transfer ilmu dan teknologi dalam pembelajaran kelompok yang meliputi sosialisasi dan praktek penanaman mangrove yang dilakukan oleh mitra dan mahasiswa dengan didampingin tim dosen. Selanjutnya, sebagai evaluasi dari kegiatan pengabdian diberikan kuesioner dengan hasil yaitu seluruh responden (20 orang) mengetahui fungsi mangrove, setuju dengan adanya program penanaman mangrove dan setuju dijadikan tempat laboratorium alam. Akan tetapi, terdapat 2 responden tidak setuju didirikannya wisata edukasi serta 1 responden tidak mengetahui bahwa wisata edukasi dapat menambah pendapatan penduduk. Secara keseluruhan dapat dilihat bahwa sebagain besar responden mengetahui peran penting mangrove dan menyetujui dibentuknya wisata edukasi. Kata kunci: : konservasi; laboratorium alam; penanaman mangrove; segara anakan ABSTRACTMangrove ecosystem is a unique ecosystem that is only found in tropical and subtropical areas. However, in this area there are several problems, namely the occurrence of environmental degradation due to sedimentation and anthropogenic factors and the low awareness of local residents about the importance of mangroves and weak supervision from the authorities. On September 10, 2022, a community service program was carried out with the Patra Krida Wana Lestari Farmer Group. The purpose of this program is to increase public awareness to be involved in the preservation of mangrove forests, maintain and care for mangrove planting areas in a sustainable and independent manner; as well as the long-term goal of establishing a natural laboratory to support science and tourist attractions. The PKM method used is in the form of knowledge and technology transfer in group learning which includes socialization and mangrove planting practices carried out by partners and students accompanied by a team of lecturers. Furthermore, as an evaluation of the service activities, a questionnaire was given with the results that all respondents (20 people) knew the function of mangroves, agreed with the mangrove planting program and agreed to be used as a natural laboratory. However, there are 2 respondents who do not agree with educational tourism and 1 respondent does not know that educational tourism can increase the income of the population. Overall, it can be seen that some of the respondents knew the important role of mangroves and approved educational tourism. Keywords: conservation; nature laboratory; mangrove planting; segara anakan

Abstract

Sweet corn productivity can be achieved by increasing land productivity which is supported by the suitability of land and climate conditions. The use of biological fertilizers and NPK fertilizers is an effort to increase land productivity. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the combination of biological fertilizers, NPK fertilizer doses, and interactions on the growth and yield of sweet corn. The research design used a completely randomized design (CRD) with three replications. The factors that were tried were the combination of biological fertilizers A and B (H1), A and C (H2), B and C (H3), A, B, and C (H4) and the dose of NPK fertilizer was 100% (D1), 75% ( D2), 50% (D3), 25% (D4) of the recommended dose. The results of this study are that the combination of several types of biological fertilizers has not been able to increase the growth and yield of sweet corn plants, presumably due to antagonistic competence between biological fertilizers and one another. The dose of NPK fertilizer 75% of the recommendations had the best results on sweet corn yields because a lower dose of NPK fertilizer was able to increase the yield of sweet corn.
