Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe matters related to the management of the Arabic language program at Daarul Ukhuwwah Putri 2 Islamic Boarding School in Malang in the form of its planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating. This study used descriptive qualitative methods. The data is collected through observation and interview. It is then carried out by analyzing data condensation, data display and drawing and verifying conclusions. The results showed that the planning of this program at Daarul Ukhuwwah adopted the Kuliyatul Muallimin Al Islamiyah Curriculum at Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor, Ponorogo. Besides, its organizational structure is formed for each division. One of them is the Central Language section which is held directly by the teacher (Ustadzah). The implementation of the program include: Arabic language learning in class, learning mufradât, muhadatsah, muhadhoroh and language festivals. Finally, the evaluation of the program is conducted each week, month and year.

Abstract

The teacher's pedagogical competence influences the use of strategies and the ability to manage the learning system in the classroom. This encourages teachers' efforts to have pedagogical competence in carrying out learning activities optimally. Integrating the Ministry of Religion and the Diniyyah Arabic Center (DAC) curriculum is the basis for strengthening teachers’ pedagogical competence. On that basis, this study aims to identify the pedagogic competence of teachers based on integrating the Ministry of Religion curriculum and the Diniyyah Arabic Center curriculum (DAC) at Diniyyah Puteri Padang Panjang. This research is based on a descriptive qualitative approach by identifying the implementation of teaching competencies based on integrating the Arabic language curriculum at Diniyyah Puteri Padang Panjang. The results showed that the implementation of the teacher's pedagogic competence in improving Arabic learning outcomes was obtained through: (1) identifying priority learning objectives, (2) implementing a learning system according to the order and needs of the learner, and (3) evaluating the learning system periodically. The findings indicate that the pedagogic competence of teachers can encourage an increase in Arabic language skills based on curriculum integration at Diniyyah Puteri Padang Panjang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengupas peningkatan spiritual serta etika sosial melalui pembelajaran Kitab Kuning dan Bacaan Wirid di Kelurahan Merjosari Lowokwaru Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR), dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling serta teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni triangulasi, metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Hasil pengabdian menyimpulkan bahwa; kualitas spiritual dan etika sosial masyarakat Merjosari menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan diukur dari frekuensi kuantitas dan intensitas pelaksanaan ibadah shalat 5 waktu semakin bertambah. Peningkatan etika sosial semakin meningkat diukur dari frekuensi antusias warga masyarakat dalam mengikuti kajian, semakin hari jama’ahnya semakin bertambah. Juga permintaan sebagian masyarakat agar kajian tetap dilaksanakan dalam bentuk rutinan seminggu sekali. Masyarakat Merjosari dapat memahami kandungan kitab kuning dengan baik, diukur dari frekuensi pertanyaan yang bervariasi seputar tema. Masyarakat Merjosari dapat menghayati bacaan wirid Ratibul Haddad dengan baik, diukur dari tingkat kekhusyu’an saat melantumkan bacaan, juga permintaan kuat untuk terus dilaksanakan bacaan wirid setiap hari. Dampaknya meningkatkan iman dan imun, terutama saat pandemi Covid-19.
