Abstract

The background of the research was that the grades of Natural Sciences (IPA) for class IX-7 SMP Negeri 1 Cariu, Bogar Regency, were not optimal. A total of 23 students (57.5%) out of 40 students scored below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) of 75. Meanwhile, 17 students (42.5%) scored above the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). This research is an increase in the science learning outcomes of students on food biotechnology material through the application of the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model for class IX-7 SMP Negeri 1 Cariu, Bogar Regency, 2015/2016 Academic Year Semester 1. This research is an action research research subject. Class IX students -7 with the research location of SMP Negeri 1 Cariu for the 2015/2016 academic year. This research consists of two cycles, where in each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, evaluation and reflection. Data collection through observation and tests. The results obtained are that the implementation through the application of the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model is able to make a positive contribution to student learning activities and improve science learning outcomes for students in class IX-7 SMP Negeri 1 Cariu, Bogar Regency, 2015/2016 academic year. This is proven by an increase in student learning activities in the first cycle of 72, 73%, the second cycle of82.69 and test results. Students who in the pre-cycle have an average of 66.5 and 30% success, cycle I average is 70 and success is 52.5%, and cycle 11 is an average of 83 and success is 77, 5%.

Abstract

Model pembelajaran yang akan diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT). Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) adalah salah satu metode pembelajaran kooperatif dengan menggunakan permainan akademik?. Aktivitas belajar dengan permainan yang dirancang dalam model pembelajaran memungkinkan siswa dapat belajar lebih rileks disamping menumbuhkan tanggung jawab, kerja sama, persaingan sehat dan keterlibatan belajar. Bentuk permainan akademik akan menimbulkan persaingan dalam diri siswa, seingga akan mendorong siswa lebih memahami materi untuk memengkan permainan. Dengan cara permainan akademik seperti ini, siswa akan merasakan suasana yang lebih menyenangkan sehingga hasil belajar dapat dimaksimalkan. Selama proses pembelajaran tersebut tidak selamanya guru memperoleh keberhasilan, banyak permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru-guru. Salah satu penyebabnya yaitu kesalahan dalam penggunaan media maupun penggunaan model/metode pembelajaran yang tidak sesuai dengan materi pembelajaran. Dampak yang terjadi akibat hal tersebut sangat terlihat dari reaksi siswa yang mayoritas tidak aktif saat proses pembelajaran maupun hasil belajar siswa yang jauh dari kriteria ketuntasan yang diharapkan. Oleh sebab itu, dalam penelitian ini peneliti akan menggunakan model pembelajaran yang dirasa dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran akidah akhlak di kelas X MIA. MAN 1 Tanjung Jabung Timur.

Abstract

Backwater is a condition where the flow of river water is obstructed, causing the water level to rise and overflow into the surrounding area. The backwater phenomenon is the main cause of flood inundation in Sewu Village. The confluence of two rivers, namely the main Bengawan Solo River and the Boro River, causes the flow of water from the Boro River to be obstructed due to the higher elevation of the River in the Bengawan Solo River. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of the Boro River backwater on flood inundation in Sewu Village with a 20-year (Q20), 25-year (Q25), and 50-year (Q50) return period flood discharge using the Soil Conservation Service synthetic unit hydrograph method with HEC-HMS software. This research uses hydraulic simulation by simulating river flow to find out the location of backwater that causes runoff. The results showed that the 20-year return period flood discharge (Q20) of 12.3 m³/s, 25-year return period (Q25) of 12.8 m³/s, and 50-year return period (Q50) of 14.4 m³/s significantly affected the water level in Boro River, which resulted in an increase in the flood inundation area in Sewu Village. Hydraulic simulations revealed that the critical point of backwater in Boro River affects the maximum water depth of the river, such as the 20-year return period (Q20) has an increase difference of 0.40 meters, the 25-year return period (Q25) of 0.32 meters, and the 50-year return period (Q50) of 0.45 meters.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the perception of Physical Education Teachers on the Threat of Drug Abuse and Violence in High School Students in Depok City. In addition, this study also explores how teachers implement preventive measures in the learning space to overcome these problems. The focus of the study is directed at preventive efforts made by teachers in Physical Education, Sports and Health (PJOK) learning activities. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with an exploratory approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, field observations, and documentation studies. Interviews were conducted with PJOK teachers who have more than five years of experience teaching in high schools in Depok City. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of coding, categorization, and interpretation based on qualitative methods to explore the meaning and patterns of the data obtained. The results of the study indicate that PJOK teachers are aware of their important role in preventing drug abuse and violence in schools, but the implementation of preventive measures is often hampered by limited resources and operational policies. This study recommends strengthening the pedagogical competence of PJOK teachers through focused training, preparing specific operational prevention guidelines, and collaborating with schools and communities to create a safer and healthier learning environment.
