Abstract

The Indonesia Naval Technology College requires an organizational development strategy in order to produce professional student outcomes and master maritime technology. Based on this, we can choose the priority of development strategies by weighting based on expert choices. The problem in this research is how to determine the priority of strategies that can be implemented in the development of the Indonesian Naval Technology College. The purpose of this research is to weight some strategies in developing the Indonesian Naval Technology College. In this study, the SWOT analyst and Borda Analysis methods are used to determine the assessment of the strategy. The results of the study indicate that to be able to improve the professionalism of soldiers in the fields of science and technology, it is necessary to increase the quantity and quality of complete laboratory infrastructure facilities, publication of lecturer and student research in national and international journals, Changes in the structure of the ideal Indonesian Naval Technology college will be able to support operational education and development of new study programs and the regulation of curriculum changes in each study programs that leads to the field of science and technology in the rank of marine. Abstract

this study aims to examine and analyze the influence of fundamental variables consisting of profitability, firm size, firm growth, and asset structure and macroeconomic variables consisting of interest rate, inflation and the exchangerate on the capital structure and corporate value. The Study population was 26 property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2008-2013. The data collection were using census and the data analysis methods used path analysis. the result showed that profitability and growth of the company have the negative effect on the capital structure,However, the influance of interest rate, inflation and exchange rate showed not significantly. In relation with the company's value, profitability and firm size has positive effect while the structure of assets, exchange rate and capital structure negatively effect the value of the company. the interest rate and inflation proved to have no effect on firm's value.

Abstract

The “objective of this study is to investigate the effect of profitability on firm value with intellectual capital as an intervening variable in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population are manufacturing companies that have published Corporate Governance Reports until 2018. However, some companies do not publish regularly during the observation period from 2012 to 2018. This study uses population requirements, companies do not issue Corporate Governance Reports for a maximum of 1 year. In order to obtain a population of 14 companies, all of which were used as research samples (saturated samples) with 98 observations. The analysis method used path analysis. The results demonstrated that profitability has a direct effect on firm value and profitability has an indirect effect on firm value. Intellectual capital acts as a mediating variable in this relationship. The increase in intellectual capital has an impact on increasing the value of the company. In addition, profitability can improve company performance and corporate image internally and externally, thereby increasing investor confidence, and companies have the opportunity to increase intellectual capital. The increase in intellectual capital has an impact on increasing the value of the” company. Keywords: Profitability, Intellectual Capital, Firm Value

Abstract

Tulisan ini berisi hasil penelitian deskriptif kualitatif untuk menggambarkan tentang peran yang dapat dimainkan oleh komunitas intelijen maritim di Indonesia untuk membantu pemerintah dalam upayanya membangun kembali budaya maritim Indonesia yang merupakan pilar pertama dari lima pilar utama untuk mewujudkan nusantara. negara sebagai tumpuan maritim global. Mengenai budaya bahari di Indonesia, orang awam akan naif berpikir bahwa secara otomatis akan menjadi identitas nasional bangsa Indonesia, mengingat negara ini adalah negara kepulauan dan nenek moyang Indonesia dikenal sebagai pelaut tangguh yang telah menaklukkan lautan. Namun, kolonialisme dan alasan politik di masa lalu telah menyebabkan Indonesia begitu lama mengabaikan banyak potensi yang berasal dari kekayaan sumber daya maritimnya untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan rakyat. Beberapa teori tentang budaya, budaya maritim, pembentukan identitas, identitas nasional dan fungsi intelijen maritim dikonsultasikan untuk mendapatkan gambaran yang baik tentang keberadaan budaya maritim di Indonesia dan kemungkinan komunitas intelijen maritim untuk merevitalisasinya yang saat ini mulai memudar. Setelah melakukan studi pustaka, dapat disimpulkan bahwa komunitas intelijen maritim pasti akan dapat memberikan kontribusi yang berharga dalam program pengembangan kembali budaya maritim di Indonesia melalui tiga fungsi utamanya: investigasi, kontra-intelijen dan psy-war untuk menciptakan kepastian. kondisi yang kondusif bagi budaya bahari di Indonesia untuk memperoleh kembali tempat dan eksistensinya dalam kehidupan berbangsa untuk mewujudkan cita-citanya menjadi poros maritim dunia.
