Abstract

Abstrak: Berdiri dan berkembangnya layanan perbankan syariah berawal dari tuntutan masyarakat Indonesia yang menginginkan hadirnya suatu sistem perbankan tanpa bunga atau riba yang berdasarkan nilai-nilai syariah dalam suatu bank. Tuntutan ini berawal karena dominasi bank konvensional di negara yang mayoritas muslim khususnya di Indonesia. Namun nasabah pengguna perbankan syariah masih rendah, Adapun tujuan terhadap pengabdian ini yaitu mengenalkan layanan perbankan syariah kepada masyarakat desa dan mengukur tingkat pengetahuan mengenai layanan perbankan syariah. Metode dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian berupa sosialisasi dengan cara presentasi dan pembagian brosur kepada ibu-ibu Desa Krayan Bahagia. Kegiatan pengabdian dihadiri sebanyak 20 peserta. Berdasarkan hasil yang dicapai, 88% para peserta telah memahami dan menambah wawasan yang diukur dari hasil diskusi dan wawancara tentang materi layanan perbankan syariah.Abstract: The establishment and develop of Islamic banking services began with the demands of the Indonesian people who wanted a banking system without interest or usury based on sharia values in a bank. This demand began because of the dominance of conventional banks in Muslim-majority countries, especially in Indonesia. However, customers who use sharia banking are still low. The purpose of this service is to introduce sharia banking services to rural communities and measure the level of knowledge about sharia banking services. The method in implementing the service is in the form of socialization by presenting and distributing brochures to the women of Krayan Bahagia Village. The service activity was attended by 20 participants. Based on the results achieved, 88% of the participants have understood and added insight as measured from the results of discussions and debriefing about Islamic banking services.
