Abstract

Correlation of Spiritual Behavior with the Level of Adolescent’s Anxiety in the Working Area of Primary Health Care Kasihan I Bantul YogyakartaBackground: Anxiety is a psychological response that arises in every individual. Anxious responses that arise in each individual are influenced by internal and external factors of the individual. Psychological response in the form of anxiety is a response that can have an adaptive or maladaptive effect. Coping mechanisms that arise in adolescents are influenced by one of the deep mental values that is spiritual. Objectives: to analyze the relationship between adolescent spiritual behavior with anxiety levels in adolescents. Methods: We have conducted a non-experimental study with a cross-sectional design. This research was conducted in January-Mey 2020. The number of samples in this study were 57 adolescents in Lemahdadi, Bangunjiwo, Kasihan, Bantul. The sampling technique was purposive. The instruments used were the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARs) and the Spiritual Intelligence Questionnaire. Kendal tau test was used to analysis test. Results: The majority of adolescent spiritual behavior in the work area of the Kasihan I Health Center are in the good category, namely 49 respondents (86%), the majority of adolescents in the work area of the Kasihan I Health Center do not experience anxiety, which is 51 respondents (89.5%). adolescents who have spiritual behavior in the good category, will tend not to experience anxiety, which is a number of 44 adolescents (77,2%). The better spiritual behavior, the lower the level of anxiety experienced by adolescents (the direction of a negative relationship or inversely related). The p value of the correlation test results using the Chi-Square test of 0.012 (p value <0.05). The correlation coefficient value is -0.456. Conclusion: there is a relationship between adolescent spiritual behavior with anxiety levels experienced by adolescents (p value <0.05).

Abstract

Covid-19 merupakan virus jenis baru yang muncul pada tahun 2019. Penularan yang sangat cepat, mengakibatkan dampak yang signifikan pada kesehatan dan banyaknya korban karena virus Covid-19. Ada beberapa kelompok rentan salah satunya adalah ibu hamil. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk pencegahan adalah dengan mematuhi protokol kesehatan dan melakukan vaksin. Namun tingginya kecemasan pada ibu hamil untuk melakukan vaksin sangat mempengaruhi keinginan ibu hamil untuk melakukan vaksin. Faktor terpenting untuk menurunkan kecemasan adalah dengan pengetahuan yang cukup tentang vaksin. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dengan tingkat kecemasan terhadap vaksin covid–19 pada ibu hamil. Metode penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif (non eksperimen) dengan pendekatan croos sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu ibu hamil di Puskesmas Kasihan 1 Bantul dengan jumlah populasi 40 responden. Semua populasi diambil sebagai sampel. Data dianalisis menggunakan Kendall Tau. Berdasarkan hasil uji Kendall Tau didapatkan nilai p=0.000 dengan demikian ada hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan tingkat kecemasan terhadap vaksin covid-19 pada ibu hamil di Puskesmas Kasihan 1 Bantul. Kesimpulannya adalah bahwa pengetahuan sangat berhubungan sengan kecemasan ibu hamil terhadap vaksin covid-19.

Abstract

Adolescents living in Islamic boarding schools often face various academic demands, religious activities, and social adjustments that may trigger diverse emotional experiences. Therefore, emotional regulation becomes an important skill that needs to be developed among students to help them manage emotional experiences adaptively. This community service activity aimed to strengthen students’ emotional regulation through emotional journaling training. The activity was conducted at Pondok Pesantren Tahfidz Barokah Merapi, Magelang, involving 50 students as participants. A quantitative approach with a pre-test and post-test design was employed. Emotional regulation was measured using the Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (CERQ) before and after the intervention. Data were analysed using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test to examine differences in emotional regulation scores before and after the activity. The results indicated an improvement in emotional regulation scores following the emotional journaling training. In addition, the distribution of emotional regulation categories showed an increase in the proportion of participants in the high category and a decrease in the low category. Statistical analysis also revealed a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores. These findings suggest that emotional journaling can serve as an effective reflective strategy to help students recognize, express, and manage their emotions more adaptively. This activity is expected to provide an alternative approach to support the psychological well-being of students in Islamic boarding school environments.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Masa remaja adalah masa mengalami “badai dan tekanan”, yaitu masa dimana ketegangan emosi remaja meninggi yang berdampak pada perubahan sosial emosional. Ketidak mampuan remaja dalam meregulasi emosi akan berdampak pada respon emosi yang dipilih. Bullying menjadi salah satu bentuk ketidak mampuan remaja dalam meregulasi emosi. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara strategi regulasi emosi cognitive reappraisal dan strategi regulasi emosi expressive suppression dengan bullying pada remaja di SMP Negeri 1 Imogiri. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan teknik pengambilan sampel non probability simple random sampling dengan jumlah 90 orang remaja. Hasil: Hasil uji statistik menggunakan korelasi pearson chi square, terdapat hubungan antara strategi regulasi emosi cognitive reappraisal dengan bullying menunjukan sig= 0,001 (p<0,05), rxy= -0,908 dan hasil uji strategi regulasi emosi expressive suppression dengan bullying menunjukan sig= 0,891 (p<0,05), rxy= 0,015 yang artinya tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan. Simpulan: Regulasi emosi yang efektif menjadi salah satu upaya pencegahan bullying. Melalui penggunaan strategi regulasi emosi yang efektif diharapkan mampu menjadi bekal bagi remaja untuk menghindari perilaku bullying.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Era digital yang terus berkembang menjadi hal positif dalam perkembangan system layanan kesehatan yang berbasis akurasi data dan tepat guna. Angka kejadian diabetes yang mengalami peningkatan berharap dapat diimbangi pencegahan dan penanganan dengan adanya tekonologi dalam layanan kesehatan. Tujuan: Membuat dan menguji aplikasi edutainment yang berorientasi pada pencegahan dan penangan diabetes melitus. Metode: Penulis melakukan kajian secara kolektif data dari media akurat dan artikel penelitian terkait layanan kesehatan digital pada penderita Diabetes. Informasi yang didapatkan diaktualisasikan dalam bentuk layanan digital yang didalamnya terdapat unsur pencegahan dan penanganan pada penderita diabetes. Bentuk layanan digital tersebut dibuat dalam bentuk aplikasi yang bisa diakses menggunakan smartphone penderita. Konten yang berada didalam aplikasi “Diab-edu (diabetes edutainment)” dikaji oleh dosen yang memiliki kapasitas dalam bidang informatika dan penyakit diabetes melitus. Kemudian dilakukan uji etik terkait akses yang dapat dilakukan oleh masyarkat umum mulai dari anak – anak sampai lansia. Hasil: Inovasi yang telah didesain dengan bentuk aplikasi yang diberi nama “Diab-edu (diabetes edutainment)” yang kemudian akan dilanjutkan dan diajukan dalam platform google play store dan app store. Menu yang berada dalam aplikasi tersebut terdiri dari menu utama yaitu tampilan awal aplikasi, profil aplikasi, sign in. Menu kedua yaitu video uploader, create crossword, edu, quiz, lets walk, food kalkulator dan redeem points. Simpulan: Aplikasi ini merupakan versi awal yang focus pada penyakit diabetes dan diharapkan pada waktu berikutnya mengalami penambahan konten dan keragaman jenis penyakit.

Abstract

Background: Adolescents who experience interpersonal trauma, like bullying, family conflict, emotional neglect, or betrayal in a relationship, are at a higher risk for mental health problems, especially social anxiety and low self-esteem. A lot of research has been done on the effects of trauma, but not much has been done on how teens use spiritual coping as a way to make sense of what happened to them after trauma. Methods: This study utilized a qualitative transcendental phenomenological framework, employing Moustakas’ methodology to investigate adolescents lived experiences of interpersonal trauma and spiritual coping. We did in-depth, semi-structured interviews with 15 teens who had been through trauma in their relationships. The data underwent analysis via epoche, horizontalization, clustering of meaning units, and the formulation of textural and structural descriptions, resulting in a fundamental synthesis of the phenomenon. Results: The analysis showed that there are some things that don't change about experience, such as a broken sense of relational safety, internalized self-blame and silence, emotional withdrawal from social relationships, and increased social anxiety. Spiritual coping became a key experiential resource, providing a private and nonjudgmental space that helped people manage their emotions, think about themselves, and rebuild their confidence. Spiritual practices helped people look at traumatic events in a new way, feel better about themselves, and get their mental health back on track. Discussion: These results show that spiritual coping is more about finding meaning than just being religious. This makes spirituality an important psychological tool for teens who are recovering from trauma. The results add to trauma and coping theories by showing how spirituality can help teens rebuild their sense of self and become more emotionally strong. Conclusion: This study emphasizes the necessity of incorporating spiritual dimensions into trauma-informed psychological and mental health interventions for adolescents, providing phenomenological insights that can guide culturally and contextually appropriate support strategies.
