Abstract

The existence of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) has a strategic role to support local economic growth and create employment. This study aims to analyze the influence of company resources, business capabilities, and business strategy on the performance of SMEs in Manokwari Regency. This research is a descriptive study applying survey approach. Data were obtained from interviews and questionnaires distribution. Using accidental and proportional sampling, the collected sample was consisted of 100 SMEs in Manokwari Regency. The results showed that company resources and business capability had a significant influence on the performance, while business strategy did not affect the performance of SMEs in Manokwari Regency. Abstract

Regional expansion could be a strength to improve the performance of local governments and subsequently should have a positive impact, such as improving the welfare of the local community. Regional expansion also aims to make governments at regional level to be more focused on escalating potential sectors in their regions. This study analyzes the repositioning of the GRDP contributing sector before and after expansion between two regency regions in 2010-2017, one parental Regency and one area that is separated from its parental. Repositioned sectors show the influence of an area in terms of its wealth of the resources as basis sector. The research method uses Location Quotient (LQ) and Shift Share analysis. Results of this study show that before and after expansion of districts into new regency, agricultural sector has declined in the contribution of GRDP. But after the expansion, the sectors with the best economic performance are the construction, administration and trade & repair sectors. In addition, agricultural sector to some extent has been decreased in the two regions. But at the same time, agricultural sector become leading sector in the new region with slow growth. Implication of this study is that the division of regions would not create new leading sector if the potential sector in a new region is the leading sector in the older region. Therefore, policy making which ensure basic sectors to have positive proportional shift and differential shift could drive economic development planning in both regions.

Abstract

Abstract: This study usedaction research class.This study was to know how to increase children ability recognize vocal letter using puzzle game for children age 3-4 at Playgroup Kuncup Harapan Megaluh Jombang.The subject of research are children in Playgroup Kuncup Harapan Megaluh Jombang. Technique of collected data using observation sheet instrument. Technique of analized data using diskriptif analized. e results showedan increased ability recognize vocal letter of which amount to at least 45%. Keywords: Recognize vocal letter, Puzzle game.   Abstrak: Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal huruf vokal melalui bermain puzzle pada anak usia 3-4 tahun di Kelompok Bermain Kuncup Harapan Megaluh Jombang. Subjek penelitian adalah anak Kelompok Bermain Kuncup Harapan Megaluh Jombang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis diskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan mengenal huruf vokal sebesar 45% berdasarkan evaluasi hasil dari siklus I dan siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan mengenal huruf vocal meningkat melalui bermain puzzle. Katakunci: Mengenal huruf vokal, Bermain puzzle

Abstract

Abstract Dissemination of information to villages, especially in remote, outermost and smallest areas about strategic issues of welfare improvement that can be developed has not been widely implemented. By taking the example of a village located on the outskirts of the city, the purpose of outreach activities about the potential for entrepreneurial activities in the village is to disseminate knowledge and information as well as provide motivation to the population, most of whom only work as subsistence farmers. The result of this activity is an increase in the knowledge of the extension participants in terms of carrying out activities that have economic value using natural resources that are already available in the village. Thus, residents can create additional income opportunities without leaving their main activities as farmers. Keywords: community empowerment, village entrepreneurship, environmental economy Abstrak Penyebarluasan informasi kepada desa, terutama di daerah terpencil, terluar dan terkecil tentang isu-isu straegis peningkatan kesejahteraan yang dapat dikembangkan belum banyak dilaksanakan. Dengan mengambil contoh kampung yang terletak dipinggiran kota, tujuan kegiatan penyuluhan tentang potensi kegiatan wirausaha di desa adalah penyebarluasan pengetahuan dan informasi serta memberikan motivasi kepada penduduk yang sebagian besar hanya bekerja sebagai petani subsisten. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan peserta penyuluhan dalam hal melakukan kegiatan yang bernilai ekonomis dengan menggunakan sumber daya alam yang sudah tersedia di desa. Dengan demikian penduduk dapat menciptakan peluang tambahan pendapatan tanpa meinggalkan kegiatan utamanya sebagai petani. Keywords: pemberdayaan masyarakat, wirausaha desa, ekonomi lingkungan

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence the revenue of QRIS Merchant s in Manokwari Regency. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression. The primary data used was collected from 30 MSME respondents. The results of this study indicate that the period of use of QRIS, types of goods, and revenue conditions before and during the COVID-19 pandemic have a very significant effect on revenue simultaneously and partially at a confidence level of 95%. In addition, it is known that the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) obtained is 0.962. This means that 96.2% of the revenue, can be explained by the period of use of QRIS, types of goods, and revenue conditions before and during the COVID-19 pandemic, while the remaining 3.8% is explained by other variables outside this study.

Abstract

Demand elasticity is used to measure individual responses to price changes. On a broader scale, the application of elasticity models and their development in measuring electricity fuel energy demand is often used. The question is whether the indicators, data and models used to measure this demand elasticity are the same in various countries or whether there are advantages or disadvantages of the selected model. This study examines the trend of the elasticity model of energy demand. Literature studies are used to provide explanations and descriptions of the results of recent studies related to changes in fuel and electricity prices in regions around the world. The results of the study show that the use of long-run data helps shape elasticity trends and assists a region in making policies or decisions. Elasticity research detects changes in consumer behaviour and set appropriate policies.

Abstract

The program distributing rice for reducing poverty for poor household (also known as Raskin) is one of social safety net programs in Indonesian’s government with its subsidized rice to the poor. The purpose of this program is to lessen the financial burden of the targeted households and increase food sustainability at the household level. This paper’s aim is to investigate how the effect of in-kind transfer towards the Raskin program over the household’s budgets proportion. This study used Indonesia Family Life Survey (IFLS) data wave 3 (2000) and wave 4 (2007), with the households level as unit analysis. Estimation strategy is applying regression with data panel in fixed effect model (FEM) and instrumental variable (IV). The result shows that the in-kind transfer program is not work for lessening the household’s burden, but in fact has increased the household expenditure, particularly for buying some food. It was found that during the program implementation, there was a significant increase in informal labor wages in Indonesia. Therefore, for typical household who experiencing higher wage income relatives to rice expenditure, will result in total budgets for rice will also increase significantly. In this case, we could conclude that rice is still being normal goods for Indonesia..

Abstract

This study aims to identify the relationship between the number of people of productive age, the provincial minimum wage, and the contribution of the construction sector to income inequality in Manokwari Regency. The secondary data used in the study was obtained from the Central Statistics Bureau and related institutions between 2013-2017. Descriptive statistical analysis methods and Pearson correlation explain how the direction of the relationship of each factor. The variables of Productive Population, Minimum Wage, and Contribution of the Construction Sector have a positive and significant relationship with Income Distribution Inequality, both partially and simultaneously. This inequality is caused by the high growth of the productive age population without adequate job availability, the influence of the minimum wage, and investment policies in the construction sector.

Abstract

Kegiatan literasi Cinta Bangga Rupiah (CBR) merupakan kegiatan memperkenalkan uang yang dikeluarkan oleh Bank Indonesia (BI) dengan maksud untuk memperkuat tiga hal. Pertama, Cinta Rupiah yaitu mengenal ciri keaslian Rupiah, merawat dan menjaga Rupiah. Kedua, Bangga Rupiah merupakan penanaman perasaan dan pengetahuan bahwa Rupiah bukan hanya sebagai alat pembayaran yang sah tetapi juga sebagai simbol kedaulatan NKRI dan alat pemersatu bangsa. Ketiga, Paham rupiah merupakan usaha untuk menjaga stabilitas ekonomi dan fungsinya sebagai alat penyimpan nilai sehingga sering digunakan dalam bertransaksi namun asas hemat tetap diterapkan. Untuk mendukung rangkaian kegiatan edukasi ini, masyarakat Kampung diajak untuk mampu memanajemen pendapatan yang dimiliki. Selanjutnya kepada generasi muda (remaja dan anak) diperkenalkan roleplay bagaimana proses transaksi jual beli dengen mengambil setting keadaan pasar tradisional. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan mempertimbangkan kurangnya informasi tentang penggunaan dan cara identifikasi uang. Tujuan dari kegiatan adalah untuk (1) memberikan edukasi literasi dan motivasi tentang penggunaan Rupiah (2) memotivasi keluarga untuk mampu mengelola keuangan bersama dan hidup hemat (3) memberikan pengalaman melalui simulasi kegiatan jual beli pada anak-anak dan remaja sehingga menumbuhkan kesadaran pada mereka untuk cinta, bangga dan paham Rupiah. Metode pelaksanaan PPM ini yaitu dengan metode sosialisasi dan roleplay interaktif. Hasil dari kegiatan PPM ini adalah para warga baik orang dewasa maupun anak-anak di kampung Yoom 1 Nuni Manokwari Utara dapat menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan tentang uang yang digunakan, mampu menerapkan pola hidup hemat dan mampu melakukan transaksi secara benar dan tepat
