Abstract

In this era of industrial revolution, it is undeniable that development progress is increasing to meet human needs in carrying out their activities. One of the groups that play an important role in this field is a company that focuses on tourism services. ThreeYasa Group is a Travel Agency business that was founded in 2020. Threeyasa Group is still fairly conventional in conducting promotions and communication with customers, namely utilizing the exchange of short messages only. ThreeYasa Group needs a digital platform to introduce its business to a wider audience. Company Profile is an effective promotional media design that can attract consumer attention and build cooperation with business people. Designing a company profile can make it easier for the owner to manage his business and make his business more dynamic. software development in making a company profile using the waterfall model. system analysis using interviews and observation methods. in visualizing actors with the system using usecase diagrams implemented using StartUML software. while coding uses the php programming language with Notepade++ software. Testing the system using Black Box Testing.

Abstract

A mobile application is a program that can run on the operating system of a mobile device, such as a smartphone. The background of this research is that when registering and taking courses at IMA Indonesia, the course institutions are still using conventional learning methods and not applying technology to enhance more interactive learning. The purpose of this study was to design a Mathematics Application for learning mobile-based arithmetic quizzes for elementary school students at IMA Indonesia. In this study, researchers used qualitative research methods. The use of qualitative methods can provide a broad understanding of the experiences and views of students and teachers regarding the effectiveness of using Mathematics applications in arithmetic quizzes. Qualitative data collection methods through observation and interview techniques. The application is designed using the Extreme Programming (XP) method. The goal of the XP method is to produce quality, productive, and cost-effective software during changes in the software development stage. The results of this study designed a Mathematics Application for mobile-based arithmetic quizzes using the Flutter framework and the Firebase database which has learning menu contents and quizzes. Based on the conclusions of this study, namely the application of mathematics to Android-based arithmetic quizzes at IMA Indonesia can improve the quality of learning in the application of mathematics to Android-based arithmetic quizzes

Abstract

Optimal course scheduling is a crucial aspect in supporting the efficiency of the teaching and learning process in higher education. In many institutions, lecture scheduling is still done manually or with static methods that are not adaptive to changing needs and limited resources. This research aims to develop an adaptive lecture scheduling system using genetic algorithms, with a case study at ITB Ahmad Dahlan. Genetic algorithms were chosen because of their ability to solve complex optimization problems with high efficiency, such as managing dynamic variables such as lecturer availability, rooms, and lecture time preferences. In this research, data related to courses, lecturers, time, classroom availability, and curriculum requirements are integrated into the designed system to generate an optimal course schedule. The development process involved several key stages, including requirements analysis, system design, algorithm implementation, and performance evaluation. Genetic algorithm implementation is done by simulating various scheduling scenarios to find the most optimal solution. The results show that the developed system is able to produce a more efficient and clash-free course schedule compared to traditional scheduling methods. In addition, the system also allows higher flexibility in adjusting the schedule to changes that may occur, such as the addition or reduction of classes. Thus, this research makes a significant contribution in improving the quality of educational services at ITB Ahmad Dahlan as well as offering solutions that can be adopted by other educational institutions facing similar challenges.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a technology-based pest detection and repellent device using the Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller. This tool is designed to overcome the problem of the presence of insect pests and rats on the KWT Gemas Imlan agricultural land. The developed system integrates various sensors and modules to achieve optimal performance. The PIR sensor is used to detect the movement of pests around agricultural areas, while the LDR sensor functions to measure light intensity as one of the parameters of equipment operating conditions. As an expulsion measure, this device is equipped with an NE555 module which emits high frequency sound waves to repel or force pests to leave the agricultural area. Testing is carried out in stages, starting from individual testing of each sensor to testing the entire system. The research results show that this tool can operate automatically with a fast and accurate response, so it has the potential to be an effective solution for controlling pests on agricultural land.
