Abstract

Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) are children with distinct special characteristics without always showing mental, emotional or physical disabilities; One of them is Tunagrahita. The SLB C Muzdalifah is aimed at the education of disabled or individuals who do not have the ability to adapt so they need to get learning about self-development and socialization. Education in the SLB facing problems, such as the level of students ' intelligence, limited students ' independence, poor general public view, and environmental utilization as a learning medium. Garbage is the remnant of human day activities and/or solid-form natural processes (UU No. 18 year 2008). Medan Cleanliness Office recorded the volume of garbage as much as 1,535 tons of garbage/day that entered the final disposal (TPA). Trash is scattered to make the presence of neglected garbage. Implementation method with socialization and workshop so gained evaluation. Socialization is one way to give knowledge about waste and environment. Workshop with graffity that is painting garbage cans is an attraction of ABK in developing creativity. Strengthening creativity in art skills is able to explore the potential of students. The ability to describe modestly is contained with selection of objects, images and knowledge symbols is simple. This potential is able to prove that they are able to describe a single/simple topic.

Abstract

The Feasibility Study of the Revitalization of the Merdeka Field in Medan City is to obtain a Foundation of the Planning and Design Program regarding the Development of the Merdeka Field Area in Medan City that meets the needs of the community as a nationally viable public facility. The feasibility study of the revitalization of Merdeka Field in Medan used primary data and secondary data. In the feasibility study of the revitalization of Merdeka Medan Field, it was analyzed through spatial aspects through Medan City Bylaw No.1 of 2022 concerning Regional Spatial Planning (RTRW) and Medan City Zoning Regulations from 2022 to 2042. The result of the feasibility study of the revitalization of Merdeka Field Medan is that the concept planned for the revitalization of Merdeka Square is in accordance with the Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW) of the city of Medan by remaining a Green Open Space (RTH) that functions as a catchment area. In addition, the Merdeka Square area also provides Blue Open Space (RTB) which can function as a medium for water storage and prevention of flooding.

Abstract

Rivers are places, containers, and networks of water irrigation from springs to estuaries. The existence of rivers with their nature that flows from upstream to downstream has the potential for opportunity value and externality effects between upstream and downstream or along river flows (Pangesti, 2000). Eco-Tech-Edu Tourism Combination and integration of learning across applicable programs, the flow of the Babarsari river looks clear and flows well, so this is used in the construction of living labs and industrial parks. In its use as ecotourism, it is necessary to analyze the burden of pollutants. In determining the burden of pollutants, it is necessary to carry out water analysis and water status analysis based on the Decree of the Minister of Environment no. 115 of 2003 concerning guidelines for water quality status.

Abstract

The impact of carbon emissions as a major cause of climate change has raised concerns and become a challenge for the international community. To reduce emissions, it is necessary to study the carbon footprint of activities in Al-Amin. The planning of Al Amin Living lab and Industrial Park along with the administration in which various activities produce carbon emissions these activities need to be calculated to find out how much the activity contributes to the emissions produced so that negative impacts on the environment can be minimized. Opportunities for PSE-GR Development Areas with the concept of Eco-Tech-Edu Tourism which has an understanding of Circular Economy Education (CED) is still very minimal in North Sumatra, PSE-GR can be a pioneer in spreading this understanding of CED where the integration of economic and educational activities occurs which at the same time helps maintain the preservation of nature. Encouraged by the development of the Independent Learning Curriculum (ILC), it is hoped that PSE-GR can become a place for research, service, and practicum of the UNPAB academic community that increases awareness of the need for nature conservation. Because Green Technology from across fields of science is still very minimally discussed and is still often partially researched, UNPAB can be an example of the integration of fields of science that become practical, dynamic, educational, and economic value innovations. The existence of 20 ha of land owned by the Prof. DR H Kadirun Yahya Foundation, it is hoped that UNPAB can develop a Living lab ecosystem at least on 10 ha of land. PSE-GR is not expected to be as exclusive as tourist areas in general, with the concept of CED, PSE-GR will not only help become an income generator & source of educational land for the academic community but also help the welfare of the village and the surrounding community. Carbon footprint studies are carried out in 3 scopes according to The Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol), namely emissions from sources owned or directly controlled by the faculty, indirect emissions from electricity consumption, and other indirect emissions (WRI and WBSCD, 2004). Carbon footprint emissions from all three scopes are calculated based on methods from the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) for the national greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory.

Abstract

A mixed-use building refers to the combination of several different functions in one building, such as residential, office, shopping, and recreational functions built on one site. Designing the structure of a mixed-use building requires careful planning and consideration of various factors such as functional needs, aesthetics, and energy conservation. Additionally, the design of mixed-use buildings includes various functions in one area. The floor slabs and roofs use plain reinforcing steel with a strength of Fy = 240 MPa (Ø8mm). Concrete cover is taken as 20 mm. The design results in several types of slab thicknesses according to the working loads that must be accommodated above them. Below are the moments acting on the floor slabs and roofs. Reinforcement calculations are carried out using the capacity strength design method according to SNI 2847-2019. The concept of capacity design refers to controlling the formation of plastic hinges at predetermined locations. The SAP2000 program can directly calculate the feasibility of structural dimensions and the required reinforcement area from the input program results. In the SAP2000 program, the concrete regulations used are those of the American Concrete Institute ACI-318-05/IBC 2003, which in some aspects differ from Indonesian concrete regulations SNI 2847-20219. Adjustments need to be made to comply with Indonesian regulations. Internal forces from the SAP2000 program are selected from load combinations that produce the maximum field moments and support moments at the column faces. Flexural and shear reinforcement of beams can be directly read from the SAP2000 program output in the form of the required reinforcement area information
