Abstract

Konflik politik yang berkepanjangan telah memicu perdebatan luas di media sosial, memengaruhi dinamika hubungan antarindividu. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori penetrasi sosial yang dikembangkan oleh Altman dan Taylor untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana hubungan interpersonal berkembang dari komunikasi dangkal menuju keintiman, serta peran penting keterbukaan diri (self-disclosure) dalam proses ini. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan pandangan politik dapat menyebabkan konflik dalam hubungan, berpotensi mengarah pada depenetrasi atau penurunan keintiman. Melalui tinjauan literatur yang sistematis, penelitian ini menetapkan kriteria pemilihan sumber dari jurnal terakreditasi dan analisis konten di media sosial, dengan fokus pada pengaruh ideologi politik terhadap keputusan individu dalam mempertahankan atau mengakhiri hubungan romantis. Hasilnya mengindikasikan bahwa sikap politik merupakan faktor krusial yang memengaruhi keberlangsungan hubungan. Untuk menjembatani konflik yang muncul akibat perbedaan pandangan politik, keterampilan komunikasi yang efektif dan kemampuan untuk berkompromi sangat diperlukan. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi individu untuk memahami peran sikap politik dalam hubungan interpersonal dan mengembangkan strategi komunikasi yang efektif untuk mengatasi potensi konflik. Dengan demikian, hubungan interpersonal dapat dipertahankan dan diperkuat meskipun terdapat perbedaan pandangan politik yang signifikan.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has brought both opportunities and challenges for parents in shaping their children's character. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of parental communication strategies in shaping children's digital behavior and character development amid increasing online risks and influences. The study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design to explore parents' lived experiences in communicating with their children to foster positive character development in the digital era. Purposive sampling was employed to select six parents (three mothers and three fathers) with children aged 10-15 years who actively use digital devices. Data were collected through in-depth semi-structured interviews, and a thematic analysis was used to identify key communication strategies, challenges, and parental roles in shaping digital behavior. The results showed that parents adopted various effective communication practices, specifically maintaining open dialogue through regular family discussions, implementing collaborative rule-setting, engaging in active mentoring through shared digital activities, and modeling appropriate technology use behavior. The main challenges included gaps in technological knowledge and limited quality time. Parents played roles as digital educators, supervisors, and role models. Effective communication had a positive impact on children's awareness of online risks and responsible use of technology. However, consistent implementation of rules and peer influence remain challenges. The study highlights the importance of adaptive and supportive communication practices while also addressing technological knowledge gaps and peer influences.

Abstract

The escalating Israel-Palestine conflict has triggered a wave of global consumer activism, one of which is a boycott campaign targeting multinational brands such as Starbucks. This phenomenon highlights the strong connection between political identity, moral expression, and consumer behavior. This study aims to explore how individuals receive, interpret, and respond to boycott messages against Starbucks within the context of the conflict. Employing a qualitative descriptive phenomenological approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and digital archive analysis. Informants were purposively selected based on shared characteristics and the intensity of their engagement with the issue. The findings reveal diverse decoding positions, dominant, negotiated, and oppositional, shaped by cultural background, political orientation, personal experience, and brand loyalty. Social media shapes emotional narratives, reinforces symbolic resistance, and shifts perception and consumption behavior. These findings underscore the complexity of political consumerism and demonstrate the active role of consumers in redefining brand image amid socio-political crises. This study offers theoretical and practical contributions to understanding meaning-making dynamics in digital communication and emphasizes the urgency of audience-based approaches in brand communication strategies

Abstract

The fan community, particularly in Korean music culture, commonly referred to as K-Pop, is flourishing in tandem with the evolving times. Beyond being a platform for sharing common interests, fan communities have become a means for interaction, discussion, and the formation of friendships. The progression of time, facilitated by digital technology, further supports this through the creation of fan communities engaging in virtual interactions, predominantly on social media platforms. The objective of this research is to explore the dynamics of virtual communication relationships within the BTS fan community (ARMY) using the Social Penetration Theory. This theory is employed to comprehend the process of interpersonal relationship development within virtual communities. The research adopts a qualitative research method with a case study approach, utilizing in-depth interviews and observations as data collection techniques. The study involves 15 active members of the BTS fan community who interact on social media fanbase platforms. The research findings shed light on the understanding of how BTS fan community members establish and foster a sense of intimacy through virtual communication, exploring the application, influencing factors, and stages of these relationships. The theoretical and practical implications of this research, supported by previous studies, can provide guidance for community managers and other researchers, contributing to the development of the Social Penetration Theory in the context of virtual communication.

Abstract

Pajak merupakan salah satu sumber pendapatan negara yang sangat penting bagi pelaksanaan dan peningkatan pembangunan di suatu negara. Pajak Penghasilan Pasal 21 merupakan salah satu peraturan perpajakan yang diberlakukan di Indonesia. PT Gesit Nazelo Protection merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang melaksanakan kewajiban pemungutan PPh Pasal 21. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana mekanisme Pajak Penghasilan Pasal 21 dan untuk menganalisis perbandingan mengenai penghematan Pajak Penghasilan Badan dalam penerapan metode Perhitungan PPh Pasal 21 (Net Method, Gross Method, Gross Up Method). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif studi kasus yaitu membandingkan hasil metode perhitungan PPh 21 (Net Method, Gross Method, Gross Up Method) terhadap penghematan Pajak Penghasilan Badan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode perhitungan PPh Pasal 21 yang digunakan oleh perusahaan adalah Net Method dengan besarnya pajak PPh Pasal 21 ditanggung seluruhnya oleh perusahaan sehingga berdampak pada Pajak Penghasilan Badan karena biaya pajak PPh Pasal 21 tersebut tidak dapat di akui dalam pajak, jika perusahaan menggunakan metode perhitungan PPh Pasal 21 Gross Up Method akan lebih efisien dalam pembayaran Pajak Penghasilan Badan namun dari segi biaya opersional perusahaan akan mengeluarkan lebih besar. Sebaiknya perusahaan menggunakan metode perhitungan PPh Pasal 21 Gross Method dengen mempertimbangkan biaya operasional perusahaan yang tidak besar dan penghematan dalam Pajak Penghasilan Badan, dalam jumlah pajak yang dibayarkan Gross Method lebih kecil dibandingkan metode lainnya.
