Abstract

The change of plans on gradually development in building structure can be occur with building operational consideration and owner financial. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of performance of the reinforced concrete frame structure with additional levels using steel structures with different span variations. The results of the analysis are used to determine how big the deviation is between levels and to control the level of structure performance. The conclusion of the study shows that the performance level of the structural model analyzed is immediate occupancy (IO) with a total drift ratio and interstorey drift ratio value of the initial building structure (C3S0) in the x direction and y direction of 0.0004, and for variations in building structure with the addition of levels using steel structures (C3S1, C3S2, C5S1, C5S2, C7S1, C7S2) in the x direction ranging from 0.0005-0.0007 and in the y direction ranging from 0.0010-0.0024.

Abstract

The rapid development of construction technology has an impact on application programs that are created to facilitate the calculation of structures in buildings, especially in designing plates in buildings. Program applications such as SAP 2000 software are often used in structural calculations but are costly. This study develops MATLAB to produce an application program for analyzing and modeling numerical data based on the matrix concept. The method used is the finite difference method which is a numerical approach method based on partial differential equations. This application program was developed by calculating the deflection, moment, and stress, which are displayed in the form of contour. This program was designed with the equations entered into the coding for each of the existing models. Then the results obtained are compared with the results of the calculation of the plate moment on PBI-1971.

Abstract

Kupang City has eight irrigation areas, namely Amnesi (36 Ha), Batuplat (90 Ha), Labat (20 Ha), Belo (60 Ha), Fatukoa (220 Ha), Oelon (50 Ha), Oepura (65 Ha). and Kolhua (20 Ha). During operation, the irrigation network was damaged. This study aims to determine the performance of the irrigation network from the physical aspect, utilization, and aspects of operation and maintenance. This study uses a qualitative method by measuring the discharge and quantitative methods by observing the physical condition of the channel and analyzing the answers to the questionnaire. The performance of the irrigation network from the physical aspect was obtained in good condition with an average score of 3.55 being Oelon and Labat, a fairly good condition with an average score of 2.90 being Belo, Batuplat, Amnesi and Fatukoa 4, poor condition with a score of 2.45 being Oepura, and very unfavorable with a score of 1.00 is Kolhua. The performance of the irrigation network from the utilization aspect was obtained in fairly good condition with an average value of 2.68, namely Belo, Batuplat, Oelon, Labat, Amnesi, Oepura, Amnesi and Fatukoa 4, in poor condition with a value of 1.56, Kolhua. The performance of the irrigation network from the aspect of operation and maintenance is obtained in fairly good condition with a value range of 2.80 is Belo, Batuplat, Oelon, Labat, Amnesi, Oepura, Amnesi and Fatukoa 4 and in very poor condition with a value of 1.19 is Kolhua.
