Abstract

Technology has begun to applied in the field of education, not only in universities but also in high school. The existence of technology for education encourages the development of learning media, especially online learning. The purpose of this research was to examine implementation of online learning at high school level. The method used is literature review research, which is the research results come from several sources. The data obtained comes from books, research, and articles related to online learning media. Based on the research’s results, it was concluded that the use of online learning media in high school can be applied appropriately and well if it meets certain criteria. The use of online learning as learning media can also directly improved student’s learning outcomes. This statement obtained from research articles related to the topic.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the need for implementation of artificial intelligence in education at Vocational High School. Through technologies development and changing demands in industry, AI implementation in vocational high schools can be a solution to improve quality of education, prepare students with relevant skills, create more effective and personalized learning experience. This research uses quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires distributed to teachers and students to identify perceptions and readiness towards the use of AI technology in learning process. The indicators analyzed include understanding of AI, perception of AI’s potential in education, readiness of technological infrastructure, challenges in AI implementation, readiness of human resources. The results shows that although there is great interest and potential to adopt AI in vocational high schools, there are challenges ahead. This article is expected to provide recommendations in planning an appropriate implementation of AI technology to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

Many choices of learning media were available, so it’s necessary to research which learning media are appropriate and suit the needs. Learning media are now technology-based, for example android-based and web-based learning media. The use of these two media was similar and widely used, so it’s necessary to examine the comparison of effectiveness. To conduct this research, a comparative analysis method with a literature study approach was used. Through the analysis, a comparison was carried out by comparing several research relevant with the themes. The research focuses on the level of effectiveness. The comparison of this research that comes from the research team itself, and several other studies. Based on comparison, the results showed that android-based learning media had a higher effectiveness percentage, 87.67%, while web-based learning media had average 80.39%. The conclusion of the research was that android-based learning media has a higher effectiveness compared to web-based learning media.
