Abstract

Architecture is a place to move comfortably. The mosque is the four worshippers of muslims who should have an optimal level of comfort. This study aims to examine the comfort performance of the prayer room of the Great Mosque of Pati based on applicable theories and standards, then design based on the results of a comfort study to get a prayer room design that meets the comfort criteria for its users. The research was conducted by dividing the prayer room into 16 points. At each point, 3 measurements are carried out, namely thermal, lighting, and noise measurements both in the morning, afternoon, afternoon, and evening. From the measurement results, it is known that the average temperature in the worship room is 27.4 °C, meaning that the temperature is hotter than the standard of comfort (<27 °C). The average exposure is 103.5 lux, meaning the lighting is darker than required (200 lux). The average noise is 61.7 dB, meaning that the situation inside the worship room is noisier than the maximum noise level allowed for the worship space (55 dB).

Abstract

Thermal comfort is essential when designing a building that will serve as a work activities place. A comfortable work environment will increase worker productivity. This study is a form of correction to non-machine weaving production house to obtain an optimal ventilation system for achieving thermal comfort. This research uses quantitative in non-machine weaving production house in Pekalongan. The data collected are thermal measurement data and air intensity in the workspace directly from morning to evening for two days. Measurements using a thermometer, hygrometer, and hot wire anemometer. Measurements were carried out in two conditions to compare the air intensity in the workspace. The measurement results will be analyzed using the recommended standards. The observations show that natural ventilation is not optimal in a horizontal building and an open space with an inner court. The fan's type and shape affect the airflow arrangement in the room.

Abstract

Abstract: In the city of Semarang, there are many therapy facilities for autistic individuals that are part of a central health facility such as a hospital or are located in a single building, but the author considers the infrastructure to be less than representative. Also with the characteristics of the rooms provided, which often causes clients to be less focused on the material and less relaxed. The aim of this research is to obtain a conclusion about how the influence of multisensory architecture-based design is able to optimize therapy activities and development of autistic individuals. The theoretical basis used is multisensory architectural design and other aspects related to this. The research method used is through data collection in the form of literature studies through previous sources and precedent studies, design approaches, data analysis, then the entire method is formulated into a design synthesis which will become the design concept. The design concept consists of three parts, namely, land design concept, architectural design and landscape design. The principle of multisensory architectural design which is realized in an environment/built area in one location, which is supported by aspects of inclusivity, is the basic basis for building design which accommodates various kinds of activities for autistic individuals.Keyword : Autism, Multisensory Architecture, TherapyAbstrak: Di Kota Semarang, banyak dijumpai fasilitas terapi individu autis yang menjadi satu bagian dengan pusat fasilitas kesehatan seperti rumah sakit maupun berada pada bangunan tunggal, namun secara prasarana penulis anggap kurang representatif. Juga dengan karakteristik ruangan-ruangan yang disediakan, yang tidak jarang menyebabkan klien kurang fokus terhadap materi dan kurang rileks. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan suatu kesimpulan bagaimana pengaruh perancangan berbasis arsitektur multisensori, mampu mengoptimalkan kegiatan terapi dan pengembangan individu autis. Landasan teori yang digunakan adalah perancangan arsitektur multisensori dan aspek lainnya yang berkaitan dengan hal tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu melalui pengumpulan data berupa kajian literatur melalui sumber – sumber terdahulu maupun studi preseden , pendekatan desain, analisa data, yang kemudian keseluruhan metode tersebut dirumuskan menjadi suatu sintesa desain yang akan menjadi konsep perancangan. Konsep desain terdiri dari tiga bagian yaitu, konsep perancangan lahan, perancangan arsitektur dan perancangan lansekap. Prinsip perancangan arsitektur multisensori yang diwujudkan dalam suatu lingkungan / Kawasan binaan dalam satu lokasi, yang ditunjang dengan aspek inklusivitas menjadi landasan dasar desain bangunan yang didalamnya mengakomodir berbagai macam kegiatan bagi individu autis.Kata Kunci : Autisme, Arsitektur Multisensori, Terapi
