Space and light are elements that need to be considered in an interior design library. Space Reference Service Central Java Provincial Library during opening hours turn on the lights as an additional light to illuminate the room, this was done because of the condition of the room to maximize the natural light into the room was minimal. This minimal conditions also influenced the layout of the furniture arrangement bookshelf is in the range of openings so that the incoming light is reduced. The purpose of this study was to measure and analyze Level Natural Lighting Interior Layout In Area Read Space Reference Service. The discussion and analysis in this study is quantitative descriptive. Method of Measuring the level of natural lighting in the room is done on a point of reference services Main Measure that is based on the position where the lamp. (Code TU), namely at point Measure Side opening window light in space and outer space, on each plan space services. (Code TUD and TUL) and the Supplementary Measure point in the field of reading the reading table in each room service. (Code TUB). Measuring point is taken at a flat field which is located at the height of 0.75 m or 75 cm above the floor. This flat surface called the working field (Frick, 2008) The results of this study the intensity level of natural light in the space can be further enhanced by optimizing the openings on several sides of the building are not obstructed, Placement Area Read in the reference services optimized by the arrangement of the furniture layout in order to light who entered the area can read more leverage and a standardized 225 lux, furniture layout pattern of structuring a strong influence on a bright light into the space and visual comfort of the space. Results of measurement are mostly located below the minimum threshold standards library reading area that is 225 lux occurs because perletakkan furniture is placed on the side of the light source..Ruang dan cahaya adalah elemen yang perlu dipertimbangkan dalam sebuah rancangan interior Perpustakaan. Ruang Layanan Referensi Perpustakaan Daerah Provinsi Jawa Tengah pada jam pelayanan menyalakan lampu sebagai cahaya tambahan untuk menerangi ruangan, hal ini dilakukan karena kondisi ruangan untuk memaksimalkan cahaya alami masuk ke dalam ruangan sangat minim. Kondisi minim ini juga dipengaruhi pengaturan layout perabot rak buku yang berada di jangkauan bukaan sehingga cahaya yang masuk menjadi berkurang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur dan menganalisa Tingkat Pencahayaan Alami Pada Tata Letak Interior Area Baca Ruang Layanan Referensi. Pembahasan dan analisa pada penelitian ini secara kuantitatif deskriptif. Metode Pengukuran tingkat pencahayaan alami pada ruang layanan referensi dilakukan pada Titik Ukur Utama yakni berdasarkan pada posisi letak lampu. (Kode TU), Titik Ukur Samping yakni pada bukaan cahaya jendela dalam ruang dan luar ruang, pada setiap denah ruang layanan. (Kode TUD dan TUL) dan Titik Ukur Tambahan yakni pada bidang baca yakni meja baca pada setiap ruang layanan. (Kode TUB). Titik ukur diambil pada suatu bidang datar yang letaknya pada tinggi 0,75 m atau 75 cm di atas lantai. Bidang datar ini disebut bidang kerja (Frick,2008).Hasil penelitian ini tingkat intensitas cahaya alami dalam ruang dapat lebih ditingkatkan lagi dengan mengoptimalkan bukaan di beberapa sisi bangunan yang tidak terhalang, Penempatan Area Baca di ruang layanan referensi dioptimalkan dengan penataan layout perabot agar cahaya yang masuk sampai ke area baca dapat lebih maksimal dan sesuai standar 225 lux, Pola penataan layout perabot berpengaruh terhadap kuat terang cahaya yang masuk ke dalam ruang dan kenyamanan visual pengguna ruang. Hasil pengukuran yang sebagian besar berada di bawah batas minimum standar area baca perpustakaan yakni 225 lux terjadi karena perletakkan perabot diletakkan berada di sisi sumber cahaya.Â

Saat ini, aspek penghijauan di kota-kota besar mulai diperhatikan. Permasalahan lingkungan perkotaan akibat adanya Urban Heat Island (UHI) menjadi latar belakang dari pemilik bangunan untuk mengaplikasikan konsep vertical garden pada bangunan mereka. Kemampuan vertical garden dalam menurunkan profil suhu permukaan dinding merupakan salah satu aspek dasar untuk menciptakan kenyamanan termal bagi penggunanya. Penelitian ini merupakan hasil studi dari pengaruh vertical garden terhadap kondisi termal bangunan PT. Pertamina Semarang. Profil suhu permukaan dinding interior ruangan bervertical garden lebih rendah bila dibandingkan dengan ruangan non vertical garden. Rata-rata selisih profil suhunya adalah 1.4C-2.1C. Selisih minimum terjadi pada awal pengukuran sedangkan selisih maksimum terjadi pada akhir pengukuran dengan sebaran suhunya semakin ke atas profil suhunya semakin panas. Dari hasil studi juga diketahui bahwa vertical garden mampu menurunkan suhu permukaan dinding non vertical garden yang berada pada satu area dengan dinding bervertical garden

Profil gerakan udara yang masuk dalam bangunan disebabkan banyak faktor element arsitektur, diantaranya adalah bentuk jendelanya. Pengamatan terkait ini telah banyak dilakukan, baik yang dilakukan secra manual di lapangan ataupun dilakukan dengan simulasi CFD. Keakurasian suatu program simulasi dapat dibandingkan hasil pengukurannya dengan hasil pengamatan lapangan. Pada tulisan ini memiliki dua tujuan, pertama, yaitu menvalidasi dan mengetahui tingkat keakuratan beberapa teknik pengamatan penelitian in-situ (obyek pemodelan dan obyek ruangan skala 1:1 dan pensimulasian dari program komputasi CFD Ecotect. Dan tujuan kedua adalah mengetahui effek bukaan jendela jungkit yang dilakukan dengan dua metode tersebut terhadap tingkat kecepatan udaradidalamnya. Hasilnya dari pengamatan ini menunjukan bahwa bahwa skala keakuratan alat ukur seharusnya diperbandingkan dengan tingkat kalibrasi tertentu dari suatu program simulasi. Sedangkan terkait aplikasi model bukaan jendela, ternyata pilihan jendela jungkit sudut 30 lebih direkomendasikan dari pada sudut 45.

Saint Peter Church Sambiroto located in the Semarang City which has tropical climate. The building has many openings like doors and bouvenlights. Currently in the east corridor are given tents to accommodate the number of congregations that exist, and on the east side the hallway is paired with banner to protect the east hallway from sun’s heat. The researcher will examine how openings play a role in creating thermal conditions in buildings. This research method uses field measurement techniques in the church regarding dry temperature, relative humidity and air movement in the church at each worship time in the morning and evening and at point where there are openings and not. After doing research, it was found that the temperature in the morning was still in a comfortable condition but at the evening temperature was above comfortable conditions. Even though all measuring points are affected by fan, the point where has opening has low temperature than where has no opening, in the point where has banner have higher temperature than no banner. This proves that openings play a role in flowing air into the building and banners blocking the air to entering lobby and building area from the east side.

Teknologi diagnostik medis yang digunakan pada unit radiologi di rumah sakit sudahcenderung bergeser dari teknologi analog berbasis film menjadi teknologi digital (filmless). Salahsatu cara membuat system radiografi tanpa film adalah dengan cara konversi digital menggunakantabung kedap cahaya (light tight tube). Dalam penelitian ini, kami telah mengkaji kemungkinanpemanfaatan sistem pencitraan radiografi digital sinar-x berbasis X-Ray Intensifying Screen(XRIS) dihubungkan dengan perangkat frame-grabber. Hasil eksperimen tahap awal untukmemperoleh radiograf tulang tangan menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini cukup dioperasikan padategangan anode-katode 50 kV, arus waktu filamen 50 mAs dan waktu paparan 0,1 detik untukmenghasilkan citra yang cukup dapat dilihat. Untuk sekali paparan, dimungkinkan memperolehbeberapa citra untuk obyek yang sama pada posisi tetap, tipa-tiap citra mengandung informasiradiografi berbeda ditunjukkan oleh distribusi tiap citra yang bervariasi. Hasil ini menunjukkanbahwa sistem ini diharapkan lebih efisien dan lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan metodekonvensional berbasis film, dan dapat dikembangkan untuk diagnose mineral tulang.Kata kunci: radiografi digital; filmless; sinar-x; tulang tangan

Effort to obtain a correlation of TR and TE to the value of Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) in MRIÂ machine has been carried out. In this research used MRI Hitachi Airis II which has a permanentmagnetic field of 0.3 Tesla. Research using a phantom object with Polyethylene Vessel containingNiCl2: 18 mmol/l. Phantom has a tube diameter 165 mm, cap diameter 120 cm and height 320 mm.Image acquisition is done with two TE value of 20 ms and 120 ms, and TR values varied from 100 msto 4000 ms, with the scale of 100 ms. Slice taken with a thickness 5 mm, and in the position 15 cm fromthe bottom of phantom. Region of interest (ROI) in the image is determined at the radius of 65 cm.SNR calculation is then performed for a variety of TE and TR. It was obtained that the SNR valueincreases exponentially for TR value of 100 ms to 700 ms and stabilized at the next TR to 4000 ms. Atthe same TR, SNR value at TE 20 ms greater than the TE 120 ms. At TE 20 ms, TR optimal value forT1WI is at 700 ms, with a SNR value of 57,6 ms, whereas for PD image on TR 3900 ms with a SNR of57,6. AbstractIn this research, we report the quality of several cooking oils before and after heating. The parameter of quality was based on electrooptics characteristic or, so called, the change ofpolarization angle induced by external electric field. In this examination, it was used threedifferent brands of cooking oils. The samples were heated in the time interval between 0-120minutes. The electrooptics characteristic was determined by measuring the change ofpolarization angle of light as it passed through the oil while it was applied by external electricfield. The field was produced by two parallel plates connected to different potential between 0-9kV. The light source was diode laser atλ = 650 nm and λ = 532 nm. The quality of oil was then determined by average polarization angle per potential difference, i.e. α ≡ Δθ/ΔV. Based on the result of observation, the fresh oil before heated has smaller change of polarization angle thanoil after heated, which is in agreement to the previous study. The longer heating time is, morefree radicals are produced, which leads to higher polarization. It shows also that the change ofpolarization depends on the wavelength.  From two diode lasers, the effective wavelength toproduce higher number free radicals is obtained by 532 nm. The increasing average ofpolarization angle is linearly to the increasing of heating time. It is obvious that the electroopticsparameter could be proposed as an alternative quality test of cooking oil.Keyword: Cooking oil quality, Change of polarization angle, electrooptics

Spectral analysis of elemental bead samples has been done using Laser Induced Schock Wave Plasma (LISPS). This experiment is aim to distinguish between bead samples from fresh white coral and its artificial from hardwood through determination of spectral intensity of Ca(II) 396,8 nm and Ca(I) 422,6 nm. The samples are held by 10 torr and induced by NdYAG Laser 1064 nm in wavelength. Results show that the original and artificial samples can be distinguished from ratio of intensity at 1,68 : 0,80 both for white coral and its artificial from hardwood through determination of spectral intensity of Ca (II) 396,8 nm dan Ca (I) 422,6 nm respectively.

Patient dose in the linac determined with source surface distance (SSD) technique using percentage depth dose (PDD) method and source axis distance (SAD) technique using tissue phantom ratio (TPR) method. Beam quality index is the concept of beam penetration in the water which can be quantized so get a measurable constant. In medical accelerator determined index beam quality    using TPR20,10 to do with counting of PDD20,10 or PDD(10)Research has been carried out by comparing the method PDD and TPR to determine index beam quality of photon energy 6 MV and 10 MV on the linac. Measurements performed on the PDD method SSD 100 cm and TPR on the SAD 100 cm with standard field 10 cm x 10 cm. PDD and percent TPR pattern is similar to the built-up area, after dmax will be different. The results of index beam quality TPR20,10 photon energy 6 MV with a relative measurement 0.660416413 and absolute measurement 0.681884058 at 10 MV photon energies obtained relative measurement 0.73752495 and absolute measurement 0.72896543. Calculation TPR20,10 to PDD20,10 and TPR20,10 for PDD (10) of the relative and absolute measurement of the photon energy 6 MV and 10 MV obtained small deviations of less than 1%.
