Abstract

Abstract— Students’ critical thinking is one of the life skills that they have to master in their life. The shifting means of reading, from textbooks to electronic text tends to change students’ behavior. They are lazy to read from the text on the other hand they are keen to read through gadgets. Reading is one of the strategies to build critical thinking in which students have to improve their understanding so that they know about the things written in the texts. Though the COVID-19 pandemic changes the reading mode, the students’ comprehension is still low. This study is a preliminary study for portraying students’ critical thinking from Information Technology students, about critical thinking, known as a case study. The findings show that the students’ comprehension is low. Among seven (7) traits of critical thinkers proposed by Martha Stewart, they show that the systematic-by-the method trait is the dominant trait because they rely on their logical reasoning. Based on Bloom Taxonomy, the result shows that their cognitive level is on the level of understanding that belongs to young learners’ level. The conclusion shows that the students of Information Technology are dominant in the systematic-by-the method trait. They should improve their reading level by spending more reading time and practicing their comprehension from reading different texts. By reading, the students will gain knowledge of the world and be critical thinkers.

Abstract

Teknologi yang semakin pesat, ternyata menyebabkan beberapa orang belum bisa menggunakan teknologinya dengan baik. Salah satu contohnya adalah pokja Dawis Wortel di Kelurahan Kembangarum yang sampai saat ini masih menggunakan manualisasi pada saat pencatatan. Pencatatan apapun yang ada pada kelompok kerja Dawis masih secara manual, yaitu hanya dengan menggunakan pedoman catatan data-data yang ada pada buku pokja. Pencatatan ini berfungsi untuk mengetahui sejauh mana informasi tingkat kesehatan yang ada pada Dawis tersebut khususnya pencatatan posyandu. Pencatatan ini berfungsi untuk mempermudah dalam memantau tingkat kesehatan warganya terutama balita. Karena dari pencatatan yang masih manual, maka perlu diadakannya pendampingan dan pelatihan dalam pencatatan data posyandu dengan menggunakan komputer, karena dengan pencatatan dikomputer akan mempermudah petugas dalam mencari data yang lainnya serta agar pencatatan tesebut bisa tercatat dengan baik, rapi dan jelas.Target yang ingin dicapai adalah peningkatan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi bagi pokja khususnya kelompok posyandu.

Abstract

Algoritma Vigenere merupakan model algoritma enkripsi yang sampai saat ini masih dikembangkan dalam bidang keamanan infromasi sampai saat ini. Salah satu aspek yang dipandang penting dalam bidang keamanan informasi adalah confidentiality. Permasalahan pencapaian confidentiality pesan atau informasi yang tinggi menjadi sesuatu yang kritis dalam bidang pengamanan informasi. Extended Vigenere dikenal sebagai evolusi Vigenere yang menggaplikasikan jumlah karakter set yang lebih luas. Salah satu pengembangan dalam algoritma Vigenere adalah dengan memodifikasi pembangkit kunci yang digunakan. Eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh confidentiality informasi terhadap penggunaan pembangkit kunci Blum Blum Shub (BBS) dan Bilangan Euler yang diaplikasikan pada Extended Vigenere. Metode pembangkit kunci BBS dan Bilangan Euler digunakan secara berurutan. Sebagai metrik pengukuran digunakan perhitungan entropi terhadap output Extended Vigenere. Hasil yang diperoleh ialah berupa peningkatan confidentiality informasi yang signifikan dengan nilai capaian entropi lebih dari 79% terhadap entropi optimum

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has driven innovation in various sectors, including the culinary industry. Semarang Regency, as a culinary tourism destination, offers a wide range of dining options that often make it difficult for tourists to decide where to eat. This study aims to implement and analyze the performance of a Telegram-based chatbot using the Rasa framework as a culinary recommendation medium in Semarang Regency. This chatbot is designed to provide quick and relevant culinary recommendations according to user preferences through the utilization of Natural Language Processing (NLP). The system development was carried out through several stages, starting from user needs identification, system design, chatbot implementation, to testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. The test results showed that the developed chatbot achieved an average SUS score of 79.16, indicating that the system meets feasibility standards and provides a satisfying user experience. Therefore, this chatbot is effective in helping people quickly, flexibly, and efficiently find culinary recommendations in Semarang Regency.
