Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this study was to obtain information about the impact of using social media (TikTok) on adolescent development. The research uses a case study method with a research approach using qualitative methods that are useful for obtaining information about the positive and negative impacts of using TikTok applications on adolescent development. In this study, 4 respondents were used in a high school in the city of Jambi. For confidentiality purposes, respondents were given the initials R1, R2, R3, and R4. The interviews were semi-structured and a list of questions was prepared for the interviews in order to be developed based on the relevant literature. The results of this study are that there are several positive and negative impacts on the use of the TikTok application, the positive impacts are being entertainment in spare time, getting new information, and being able to make shopping easier because of the online shopping feature. The negative impact of this TikTok application is that negative content is free to view, time is wasted due to watching useless content, and a lack of shame due to creating useless content.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam pelayanan berbasis online menggunakan plotagon. Metode yang digunakan adalah format workshop berbentuk pelatihan dan pendampingan. Kegiatan pendampingan diawali dengan kegiatan penyampaian pemahaman materi mengenai Plotagon, selanjutnya dilanjutkan dengan kegiatan mendemontrasikan penggunaan Plotagon. Tahap berikutnya adalah simulasi dan pendampingan, pada tahap ini peserta kegiatan mencobakan langsung proses pembuatan plotagon dan didampingi untuk meminimalisir ketidak pahaman peserta dalam pembuatan plotagon. Tahap selanjutnya berupa reflesi kegiatan dengan tujuan untuk melihat ketercapaian pelaksanaan kegiatan dan diakhiri dengan kegitan penutup. Hasil kegiatan ini antaran lain: menambah wawasan dan keterampilan guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam menggunakan teknologi dalam memberikan layanan yang berbasis online. Pemahaman dan keterampilan guru bimbingan konseling berkembang sehingga dapat membantu pelaksanaan kegiatan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah  Berdasarkan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat dan evaluasi dengan mitra dapat disimpulkan bahwa: Pemahaman dan keterampilan guru bimbingan dan konseling berkembang sehingga dapat membuat dan mengaplikasikan plotagon kedalam bentuk video layanan berbasis online.

Abstract

Improving Career Planning Through Ikigai Concept Information Services for XI Students Class at SMAIT Nurul Ilmi Jambi City. Students have their own challenges during the process of determining their choice of major for further education. The core problem felt by students is that students do not know themselves, their potential, as well as their interests and talents. This condition become worse by the lack of guidance received, students are less likely to search for information about new and existing majors, do not carry out career planning, and not aware of the latest developments related to job prospects. If this problem is not addressed, it can have a negative impact on a student in the future, this is because career planning before making a career choice is very important and crucial. Ikigai is a life concept that leads individuals to formulate their life goals by discovering the four concepts that form ikigai consisting of passion, mission, profession and vocation. This research is a quasi-experimental quantitative research using a pre-test and post-test with non-equivalent control group design. The subjects in this study were 56 student from XI class. Therefore, the career choices taken should be in accordance with one's own desires and based on careful career planning. This research aims to determine the level of students' career planning before and after being given treatment in the form of ikigai concept information.
