Abstract

“Improving Fairytale Reading Skills Through the Sentence Scramblel Method on the Theme of Togetherness for Class II SD Muhammadiyah Bayan TA. 2021/2022". Elementary School Teacher Education, FKIP, Purworejo Muhammadiyah University, 2022. This study aims to: 1) describe the application of fairy tale reading skills through the sentence scramble method for second grade students at Muhammadiyah Bayan Elementary School, 2) find out the improvement of fairy tale reading skills with the scramble method. sentence on the theme of togetherness of class II students at SD Muhammadiyah Bayan. The type of research used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles, each cycle having two meetings. The research subjects are second grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Bayan TA. 2021/2022 with a total of 26 students. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observations, tests, field notes and documentation. The results showed that there was an increase in fairy tale reading skills through the sentence scrambel method for students who achieved the average in the pre-cycle the percentage of learning outcomes was only 34.61% in the first cycle, 50.00% in the second cycle, reaching 84.61%. The results of the observation of student activities also experienced an increase. In the first cycle, 63.75% increased to 81.15% the increase in fairy tale reading skills based on the average increase in aspects of accuracy, pronunciation, intonation, fluency and clarity of voice. It can be concluded that the sentence scramble method can improve the reading skills of the second grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Bayan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis kesalahan penulisan huruf kapital terhadap teks narasi pada siswa kelas V di SD Muhammadiyah Margoyoso Magelang dan menganalisis kesalahan penulisan tanda baca terhadap teks narasi pada siswa kelas V di SD Muhammadiyah Margoyoso. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Muhammadiyah Margoyoso yang berjumlah 16 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu peneliti sendiri (Human Instrumen). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kartu data dan lembar wawancara. Uji keabsahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan uji kredibilitas dengan teknik triangulasi sumber. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan teknik pengodean atau coding. Hasil deskripsi menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang melakukan kesalahan penulisan huruf kapital pada awal kalimat sebanyak 42 kesalahan, kesalahan penulisan huruf kapital pada nama orang dan julukan sebanyak 30 kesalahan, kesalahan penulisan pada nama tahun, bulan, hari, hari raya, dan peristiwa bersejarah sebanyak 8 kesalahan, kesalahan penulisan huruf kapital pada nama geografi sebanyak 15 kesalahan, kesalahan penulisan huruf kapital pada nama lembaga, negara, organisasi, dan dokumen sebanyak 1 kesalahan, serta kesalahan penulisan huruf kapital pada judul sebanyak 5 kesalahan. Siswa yang melakukan kesalahan pada tanda titik sebanyak 26 kesalahan, kesalahan pada tanda koma sebanyak 19 kesalahan, kesalahan dalam tanda tanya sebanyak 1 kesalahan, keslahan pada tanda hubung sebanyak 5 kesalahan, kesalahan dalam tanda seru sebanyak 2 kesalahan. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa kelas V SD Muhammadiyah Margoyoso masih banyak melakukan kesalahan dalam penulisan tanda baca dan huruf kapital dalam menulis teks narasi.

Abstract

The learning process implemented is one-way, causing learning to become boring and uninteresting. Therefore, this research aims to: 1) Produce a product in the form of Integrated Ludo Learning Media Development for Pancasila Student Profiles on Class IV Money Types at SDN Jatirejo Kaligesing Purworejo which is in accordance with research and development development procedures. 2) What is the feasibility of developing Integrated Ludo Learning Media for Pancasila Student Profiles in Class IV Money Types at SDN Jatirejo Kaligesing Purworejo. The type of research used in research is research and development. The research model uses Borg and Gall which consists of 10 development stages. The research subjects were class IV students at SDN Jatirejo for the 2023/2024 academic year with a total of 17 students. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and questionnaires. The data collection instruments used consisted of observation sheets, interviews, media expert validation questionnaires, materials, teachers and student responses. The data analysis techniques used are feasibility analysis and practicality analysis. The results of this ludo media development research are: 1) This research produces a product in the form of Integrated Ludo Learning Media for Pancasila Student Profiles on Class VI Money Types at SDN Jatirejo Kaligesing Purworejo. 2) The product feasibility results obtained an average score of 90% which was in the "very feasible" category, the practicality results obtained an average score of 91% which was in the "very practical" category. Based on this study, it can be concluded that ludo learning media is suitable for use as learning media in elementary schools.
